  • My A3 8P pisses me off!!!!

    I really get the crisis.after 4 weeks ago the servo support has failed, since this morning I also have the warning lamp for exhaust and for the motor control flash.toll,if you still consider that I consume more oil than any other writer here.I really get to vomit!!!!!!the friendly thinks,I should come now,he should come to me only net of reason, error memory and so,and everything is in order.something is right there net,if the nix should get baked they call audu grunted Johnnie, who doesn’t get in with anger anymore!!!!!!

    tuneline performance increase for 2.0tdi still acceptable..? [*Update*] greeting… Was until then always sure that I wanted to help my A3 2.0tdi once with the company www.tuneline.at by chiptuning on the jumps….but I can’t quite get along with the offer. The 167PS/386Nm variant is a little too weak on my chest (is certainly enough…but I expected more with my price / performance calculations) … That brings me to the 185PS/440Nm variant di … especially the increase in torque of 120Nm sounds to me like a guarantee that the gearbox or similar doesn’t get through for long….but I’m not a transmission expert and can’t say if that might not be a bit below the pain limit.   • Light in warning flash switch

    Hello, with my A3 8P TDI DSG with light package the control in the warning flash switch ALWAYS shines. I have already annoyed my dealer, there are currently four MISCELLANEOUS A3 of all equipment lines, WITH and WITHOUT light package around. There it looks like this: without a recognizable system stay / are the WARNBLINKSCHALTER and the SYMBOL (not the control light IN THE switch !) in the coming/leaving home switch …. sometimes dimmed illuminated – even if the vehicle is closed – ALWAYS on …. …. times After locking the doors and extinguishing the clock / day-kilometre display (they still remain a MOMENT long) also OFF …. It’s not like the ONE light-emitting diode sucks the battery empty – with all the electronic ‘helpers’, the anyway are ALWAYS in the background AN. It’s about the question of WIESO. In our underground garage next door there is a 2.0 FSI AMBITION, which is only about five weeks ‘older’. With Him everything is dark ….   • New Audi -> old Navi CD

    Hi together, I registered my car on December 2nd and found the old Navi-CD as of 2002/2003 at the factory collection in Neckarsulm. Just drilled at the dealer and the customer hotline. Answer: I should buy the latest CD 03/04 ! Hahaha…that’s a joke. I have now written a factual/requesting mail to the customer be(t)reuung. If this does not work I really Stunk !!! Cann’t be true that for a new car for 35.000 Euro still the Toads want to save for ́ne new CD. The Navi is partially worthless with outdated software. Look what happens…I keep you informed. PS: I know that already a thread existed on this topic but I find ́s frightening that they still try to get rid of their old CDs.

  • I don’t believe it!!!

    Just come back from the workshop to allow the following errors to be corrected: – Errory windscreen (a wave in the disc, no spray fog effect) – Headlight height adjustment – SRA adjust reaction time – Set service interval to 50000km Here is the solution of the problems, or not!! It was installed to me a new windshield, because the old was blurred! The now built-in windshield unfortunately has the spray fog effect again that the old windshield did not This means that Audi is still delivering faulty disks! Just for information, I have already received a new windshield with the “old” new A3 which was then fine, but it also had a window and no spray mist. Thought I really hit a blow. Get a new disc now, hope that’s fine. The SRA sprays now always as long as I operate the windscreen washing system. So not really beneficial. Let it change the disk again. I can’t say anything about the height of the headlights, it’s still bright outside. I can’t adjust the service display to 50000km. However, I also have a maximum of every 24 months or 30000km inspection interval. So I’m really pissed! Hope I finally get a new fault-free disc.

  • Enemy touch…

    Today it was time and the first “enemy touch” of my A3 took place: I drive peacefully through the Black Forest (because of my wife, who quickly gets sick in the curvy road guidance, luckily nice slow) … and there comes a red gulf with completely excessive and in my opinion at the overfrozen roads anyway unadapted speed, should have seen me already 50 meters before and cuts nevertheless full pot the curve … result: loud bang – and The mirror (at the golf) was gone. It’s not so funny to me – but I’m a bit “bad” – the mirror is still on the A3, only a slight scratch and colour traces of the golf mirror can be seen, the mirror has neither turned around nor folded (oh wonder). Thanks to the VW group, which has obviously placed the “shall break point” on the somewhat cheaper golf πŸ™‚ The golfer was then pretty much through the wind, told me about “that expensive thing I can’t afford “, apologised ten times and then almost felt sorry again … πŸ™‚ And with that to my patient: How do I get the scratches (lightly superficial) and the color marks on my mirror again?   • How many and what defects (to a new one)

    With my A3 (10/03) I have found the following defects and/or points and will soon meet my dealer: – known front disc fault – known error in the belt guide – motor rucks in idle mode – fogged fog lights (after 8000 km!) – slight distortions in the rear window – hopping on the highway: Although annoying but not dangerous at best will (attraction). I would like to talk to him further about the following things: – re-calibration of the xenonsch Einwerfer – Reprogramming of the locking system (autom. closure) – Impact on the life and quality of the xenon headlights by the light sensor (coming/leaving home) Who has made what experiences to the points?   • A3 with large grille from Sep 2004

    Hello dear 8P drivers, as well as all the future! as I recently learned from my dealer during the new car order of my future A3 8P, the 2-door A3 8P will appear from about September 2004 as the then also appearing A3 Sportsback with the large, undivided radiator grille. It leaves me with an ambivalent impression that my not yet built car will have a face in already one year that no longer corresponds to the latest. And On the other hand, in relation to the images of the “future” that have been circulating so far, I find the new design not necessarily better but very used to it.   • A 3 problems!!!

    Moin, moin, I bought myself an A3 a month ago (Bj. 97, 101 Ps, 1.6 L, no climate). Since then I have visited numerous workshops, because the car has a pair of Macken. I could fix a couple, however, there are still some open, because they are a little more expensive and I do not want them on good luck, because some learned car-tuppi tells me that it may be because of it. Therefore I turn to you, because I prefer the advice of independent with a little bit So this is the following: 1. The car almost goes off when it starts up (battery lights up). This happens more strongly in the cold condition, but sometimes occurs in the warm condition. 2. When driving, a knocking sound is noticeable from the front. Proclaimed by unevenness on the road. Workshop meant it were the track rod heads. I had them done. Noise was still there. Then just the cross handlebar bushings (according to the motto: something will already be). This time I didn’t let them do it, as I will soon have a completely new car. 3. Noise in the interior, which I think will come from behind. I checked the windows, they are closed. 4. and lastly the exhaust, especially at low speeds (800-1200) makes a tubular noise. The exhaust is tight. that’s for sure.
