  • Start problems with my A3 3.2

Hello, I was just about to get something. So I activated the heater by FFB, about 10 minutes later I was in the car. I turned on the navigator to insert the SD card (which also worked without problems) and then tried to start the engine. It didn’t work, the engine stuttered briefly but didn’t work (similar to an empty battery). I tried it again directly, the same result: stuttering. Then I waited a minute and it again The idle speed stood SOFORT at 600 rpm (normal idle speed with me 700 rpm), normally the idle speed after a cold start is increased for about 30 seconds at approx. 1200 rpm. This increase of the start speed remained completely out. Now the question: If really *only* an empty battery should have been the cause (why, was yesterday still on the AB with high Moto rspeed on the road, actually the battery should be sufficiently charged as a result ?!?!), then at least in the FIS a warning should appear that the battery voltage is too low. But there was absolutely no warning message in the FIS, neither regarding the battery voltage nor any other error. What could this have been about? Did anyone else have this problem with their 3.2r? Is there a way to query the battery voltage somewhere? Thank you in advance and Gru ß, test winner

  • Withdrawal from the contract of sale wg. Delivery delay

I greet everyone here in the forum. It’s always fun to browse it. You get very interesting things. But now to my problem: At the end of September I ordered an Audi A3 $portback 2.0 TDI DSG. As expected delivery date, the dealer gave me the first week of December. In the purchase contract is only Dec.04. When I called him today, he told me, however, that the car is probably only coming in the middle of January. I told him immediately that I would not be able to use the car anymore. If I don’t get it until 2005 the whole tax advantage is gone. Besides, I don’t see it waiting for a car for almost 4 months. Now my question. Can I get out of the contract if I set a deadline of 3 weeks for the dealer at the end of Nov.? Is this legally impeccable or can the dealer still force me to accept it? What other possibilities are there. Thanks already for your answers Hubwagen

  • S-Line+ Sport-FW – Impressions to Hardness…!

Hello to each other, this thread is especially aimed at A3 drivers with the S-line Sport-FW. The chassis is absolutely unsurpassed from the handling of the vehicle on rural roads…! What bothers me, however, is the pronounced “roofing” or – with the seat understanding the unevenness of the road surface – with highways with very bad “well” surface. –> Is something too restless. Of course I have no comparison to other “sports cars” but a little “softer” would be especially with L. the 3,2 Sline+ is a dream!!!! How do you feel about the toughness of the Sline sports suspension? Or don’t have your bad highways? Greetings Relentless

  • Fiat Punto vs. Audi A3 !?

Hi, I am about to buy a used car. The money is up to a maximum of 7,000,- €. I looked at two different vehicles. Here are the data and approximate prices: 1.) Fiat Punto 1.2 16V First registration: 2000/2001 Kilometer: approx. 50,000 – 90,000 km kW/hp: 59/80 Gearbox: Automaton Engine displacement: 1242 cm3 Doors: 2/3 Equipment (approx.): ABS, airbag, electric window lifter, radio, air conditioning, fog lights, side airbags, power steering, immobilizer, central locking… Price: 6,200€ – 6,900€ 2.) Audi A3 1.6 First registration 1996/1997 Mileage: approx.100,000 – 130,000km kW/hp: 74/101 Gearbox: Automat Doors: 2/3 Equipment (approx.): ABS, airbag, electric window lifter, radio, air conditioning, fog lights, power steering, seat heating, central locking…Price: 6,400€ – 6,900€ My questions would be: 1.) Which car is more economical? (consumption, tax) 2.) Which car has a longer lifetime? 3.) Why does the Punto cost as about 3 years old car? 4) Is the Fiat Punto so cheap and spartan? 5.) If I drive the car for 3 years, then the A3 would be 10 years old, and the Punto would be about 6 years old. Which would be better on sale? Thanks for your help

  • Consumption 2.0 T FSI DSG6?

Hello, with my new A3 Sportback 2.0 T FSI DSG6 Audi has a consumption of 7.7 liters SuperPlus. This is in the euro-standard consumption. Now I have read two tests that say that the consumption (the so-called “test consumption” should be more than ten (!!) liters. The engine is even marked as “durable”. Do those of the tests also mean the sprints from 0 to 100 and the many stop and go during the tests? I bought the engine, just because Audi considered it to be The most modern (primarily first) FSI engine with turbo is with a very low fuel consumption, and that is 7.7 liters for a 200 hp vehicle. Such a deviation can hardly be, can it? Who can tell me anything about it? Thanks to Peter

  • A3 – That starts well…

So I’ve also been the proud owner of an Audi A3 Attraction 1.9 TDI for 3 months. It cost me almost 30,000 €. I thought, now you bought a reasonable car. – Quality! But… ??? 1st week: Error indicator in the exhaust control system. But I couldn’t be told exactly why, weshab, why. Error message has been deleted and hasn’t appeared until now. 2. Week: Condensation has formed on the turn signal (left side). 4th week: In the middle of the holiday 🙁 the little navigator cannot be activated. Absolut Mausetot. 1 week later the same problem again. Sporadic. Remedy: The control panel of the navigator has been changed. 7th week: Another turn signal (now right outside) has formed condensation water. Turn signal is replaced. 10th week: The problem of the navigator could not really be fixed. It just turned out that the error is still there. The navigator is dead. I also found that a relatively old Navi-CD is in the back of the trunk. Version 2003/2004. There is already the version 2004 and the version 2004/2005. Why do I get a CD that is two versions older than the latest???? Further error – The radio “Concert”: When you listen to the radio, the radio reception is scanned for half a second after a few minutes. The reception and sound is completely gone and then comes back. Yes, I didn’t do it. My GEZ fees are paid, or why can’t I listen to the radio properly??? 11th week: The xenon headlight glasses also have light condensation droplets on the edge. The service technician thinks, that would be still normal and does not require any exchange! Tija, what else should I say? Super quality!!! Audi, advantage by technology!!! So if the second repair attempt of the navigator and the radio is not 100% in order, I return from the purchase contract (change). What do you think about it??

  • Red light in Holland!

Hello together, was just in Holland to shop and drove over a traffic light crossing. The traffic light was just yellow and I was flashed from behind! Can one of you tell me white much that will cost me? I find unfortunately in the Inet nothing at all! To my apologies I must say that I would have driven over this traffic light myself in Germany! Since it has only become yellow! If I had made a full brake from 50km/h I would have come to stand in the middle of the crossing. the way back it also got a German! And I have seen exactly that the traffic light has only become yellow! So I would really take away some worries if someone can tell me what it costs! Because in Holland should be very expensive! Greeting Scoty81

  • Experiences DSG / Differences to the switch or automatic

Hello ! I re-ordered DSG for the new Sportback (2.0 TDI) the day before yesterday and would like to learn a bit about the DSG. What experiences have you made in terms of sportiness and comfort ? How many steps does the DSG have ? Can I drive with DSG at high speeds just as sparingly as with the Schakter in the 6th course ? That was always a fine thing because it doesn’t turn so high, let’s say at e.g. 180 km/h. What does it look like with the shift paddles ? Is this a fine thing ? Best regards sammes

  • service intervals..

hello! would have asked a question about the longlife service plan.. in the operating instructions it says that the service must be carried out every 30,000km or 24 months. the fis shows me anyway, if one of the two enters, or only when the 30,000km are reached? do I have to pay attention to anything at all or does the car always tell me if what is to be done?! mfg

  • 2,0 tfsi or 3,2

tach, I’m on it and I’m about to order a SB, first the question was whether it should be a tfsi or a tdi. the question I answered myself with the fun factor and the tfsi was clear. then the question was still whether dsg or “normal”. for this reason my dealer gave me a test car via we, nn a3 8p, 3,2 with dsg…… almost he wouldn’t have got it again, such a cool car… but now I have a real problem… I can’t decide anymore. n. nn tfsi I can’t test it either, because not available. is the difference in performance big??? noticeable??? what about the consumption, is the really 2-3l?? for tips, I’m grateful for some experience.
