So I’m going crazy with the box
Hi I bought an a6 2.5 tdi just a few years ago and jetz he slowly drives me to madness. while steering I have crack noises and the workshop has 0,0 plan how to get rid of it, the other oil the box without ending is the car only 3 years old km stood just 50 tausting and still something, it is normal that the amatures dissolve, i.e. the rubberization of individual parts leaves off. all in all, this is really annoying. now my question who can please me with the prob. d It is also a question of how we can help or advise on what it can be.

Hello together! As is well known, it is time to put on the winter tires again. In the case of the mounted tyres of the type “Dunlop SP Sport 9000” (255/35 ZR 18 – series rim and tire) my Audi dealer reveals a very (!) strong wear on the inside of the rubbers. At first a deviation on the track was suspected as a cause, but this was not confirmed. At the request of the head office (it is a car dealer chain) it turned out later that the This is a well-known problem with high-powered Quattro-Audis and a result of the associated high curve speeds. Audi therefore recommends the use of the “Pirelli” brand (which is NOT mounted on the ground). Now my question: has someone had similar experiences? Believe me: if you would see the tyres, you would shake your head (pictures will follow shortly!). Of course, it could be a material error, but it is apparently known to Audi that I find it more than outrageous, at the moment when a problem arises, to point out, but rather to use other tires… There could have been considerable damage to property and persons! Why does Audi not install the other tires ex-works? Audi trouble without end…
Good day to all Audi drivers. I’ve been driving my third Audi for 4 months. It’s an A6 2.4 V6 year 11/99. Unfortunately, my third Audi is already causing a lot of trouble. The idle speed varies considerably, the steering wheel squeaks loudly and absolutely annoying, while I am standing at the traffic light, I am gassed with smell of burnt oil, the Fz often starts badly and sometimes not at all, the oil consumption is now at 1 liter to 500 km. I’m very excited about the interior and I wonder why I bought an Audi again. The cars are beautiful and are doing something, but I’ve only had trouble with Audi so far. The service of the workshops is in my opinion under all conditions. I wanted to get rid of this.

new AudiA6 & its problems
I’ve already had the new Audi A6 for a few months (was one of the first). I still have some little problems with the car, but they made me feel bad. I’ve been in the Audi workshop 4 times and I haven’t been able to find a solution yet. Maybe the workshop is also incapable… Now I wanted to ask if I’m the only one with these problems (I can’t imagine), at least the workshop does like this: 1. the tailgate can’t be opened completely by remote control (although ordered, but mechanically not electronically, i.e. closes manually) 2. still not localized light clapping from engine compartment on passenger side (sounds like from glove compartment) with strong springing in unfixed roads 3. center console compartment broken after such a short time 4. flaps on passenger side rear in hat rack (where the belt runs long) Nevertheless, I am absolutely satisfied with the car… Does the light automatically turn on with you very early/too early??? Can this change? Good Who kstatt to be recommended in Berlin?

Cooling – Urgent!
Hello together! The following problem has just come to me: My coolant and oil temperature is rising!!! On the way to work with approx. 210 km/h on 35 km BAB everything was OK (90 °C water, approx.80 °C oil) On the way home I was surprised that my baby had after approx. 3 km operating temperature. Up on the highway, approx.5 km, cooling water showed almost 100 °C, oil almost 100 °C. So I first heating full tube and next descent down to the next parking lot. On the way therehi n under partial load water levels again to 90 °C, oil as well. In the parking lot sometimes looked under the hood, compensation tank full, on the oil measuring rod no water traces, cooler was ass cold and the fan turned! Again up to the BAB, no more than 100 km/h and the eyes more on the temp. display than on the track. On slight incline water and oil went immediately again to 100 °C – so if engine is required. In the closing stop and go the same – water again to 90 °C, Ö l to about 105 °C – and that until home. Tomorrow I will put my baby to the workshop of trust on the yard – what can I call there ? CONSTRUCTION OF DIESEL CONSUMPTION AT A6 2,5 TDI
I have an A6 2.5 TDI (Bj. 1998) with the V6-150 HP AKN engine. At first I had a tank for 850 km, but then I screwed up to a maximum of 900 km. However, since about summer 2004 I observed how my fuel consumption increased more and more. At first it was enough for 750 km then for proud 700 km and meanwhile 650-700 km. According to FIS, the consumption in winter 2004 was 7,4 L, but in summer 8.5 and mid-term The 9 L air filter was changed by me, unsuccessfully… Additives such as cleaners of diesel lines used, unsuccessfully…. In addition, I have been observing an overly vibrating engine start since 1 month in the morning especially when gas is given directly after the start. At the cold start you feel next to the vibration, as if the engine would swallow unsolicited diesel. The whole thing becomes normal after 10 minutes.
