Hi, so I asked a very stupid question. I bought an A6 (data see below) a few months ago and my buddy bought a 98 Ford Mondeo 2.5l V6 24V automatic for 4,500 €. I paid 13.000 € at the time. Well, earlier in the car we had a discussion. He said that he was stronger in the suit and that my 13.000 € were badly invested. The Ford has exactly the same characteristics as the Audi and is cheaper. Can someone please explain to me why the A6 is a lot more expensive? I I mean that you have more security for 13.000€ and surely you pay a little bit to the name. But I didn’t think of any more… Does anyone else know any points with which I can counter? With my new A6 Avant 1.9 TDI (BJ 2004) with Navi Plus and hands-free device, I ordered a mobile phone adapter (Cullmann) for a Simens S45i from Audi. This adapter with spiral cable is inserted into the middle armrest. The vehicle has no voice control for the hands-free and also no multifunction steering wheel. Now I would like to operate the mobile phone via the buttons on the Navi, or also see the caller and other information in the display. However, this does not work. This is quite cumbersome. Am I just too stupid or is it on the adapter or on the Siemens S45, which may not be 100% compatible with the Navi Plus. Or are there other adapters that offer these functions, e.g. read phone book from SIM? Don’t skin my hands-free speech, or I don’t know. User manuals and friendlic he Audi staff can’t help me either.

The following problem: My gearbox has a 1/2 gear more than others! At the high speed from the 2nd to the 3rd gear a noticeable speed reduction is noticeable. Both during moderate acceleration as well as kick down (also in “S” operation). Hello, I’d like to know if you have original RS6 rims on your A6 and have also been registered. Hi there, I have a question. Can it be that there are different chips for Quattro and Frontriebler? Difference e.g. torque course. It is about the A6 TDI type C4 with AEL 140PS. A colleague of mine has a Quattro with chip which has between 2000-3000U/min vibrations in the drive. Now he has “allegedly” a chip (or 2) extra for the Quattro. Performance however not as much as before. I have a front-wheeler and wanted to insert the “old” chip. Just h I don’t like bad surprises. Does anyone know anything about it? Hello, not long ago the camshaft was damaged on my A 6. During this repair all 4 camshafts were replaced. Now after approx. 8000 kilometers the camshafts have already entered massively again. The car has been standing for about 10 days in the Audi workshop and there are no camshafts available for the vehicle nationwide and Audi can not provide any information regarding a delivery date. According to the Audi Master there are considerable problems with the engine with the camshaft n (the camshafts aren’t behind for nothing). I was thinking Audi has the problem under control.
