  • A7 50/55 TFSI E (Hybrid) Experience

Hi there, I’m currently looking for an A7 hybrid, for me it’s important that it’s the bigger battery. Background why it’s supposed to be a hybrid is the following: My work path is only 3km, also other completions can be realized within 3km. So I assume that I can drive the E motor for a few days without having to charge. In addition, there are only city rides without differences in altitude. But I also have longer rides several times a month, which I prefer background is that it should save the engine for short distances. I also wonder how the battery works with a 4 year old car. What are your experiences? What can I really expect at 65 km WLTP? Are there any problems with the vehicles?

  • USB connection in the A7

Hello, order my A7 soon and have a question about the media system. Is there a USB port in the A7 so that I can copy my audio files to the hard drive of the audio system? Thank you for your answer Many greetings

  • Extension of rear lights

Hello to each other, simple? quick question: How can you extend the rear lights in the coach to get to the backlight?

  • Long distance with the A7

Hello municipality, instead of always just “meckern” I would like to give a positive report about my yesterday “long distance trip”. I had to travel yesterday a drive stick of 1270 km, all BAB (A9,A4,A5,A8). I just noticed that the highways are named after Audi models … Well, back to the topic, so 1270 km on a day in the A7, 3.0 TDI, 245 hp, ASS, sports seats and 20″ rims with 265/35/20 Dunlop winter sports 3 D. The road conditions were mixed with light Snowfall (A9) over snow-covered roadway (A4 in Thuringia) up to dry roadway in the Saarbrücken area. My pure driving time (breakouts out calculated) was approx. 9 hours 15 minutes. The average speed was approx. 138 km/h. Doesn’t sound that much, but I had many and long sections in which I drove 200-220 km/h, but also those in snow-covered roadway … there is still slower. I have to say that I don’t often have so many km at a snow-covered road. The journey in the A7 was a bright joy from beginning to end, even after 50,000 km of total kilometers. The fact that there was little traffic and no traffic jams was certainly very beneficial to the joy. (Last I took more time from Austria for 675 km back) Apart from that, I think the “Siebener” is absolutely suitable for long distances. It is a completely fatigue-free driving possible, even at higher speeds. On arrival at home, I still felt very comfortable, had no back or any other pain, that speaks on the one hand for the seats and also for the “well-being atmosphere”. No matter what street conditions were prevailing, I always had a feeling of absolute safety. No slinging, no swinging, no sliding … you just pull your track, so it should be. The 20″ wheels also convey a good road contact, the Wa The comfort is absolutely in the frame with AAS, even on worse sections. Only at the unwind comfort one could “pull up”, but is due to the low tire cross-section. I don’t know if I would mount these tyres again. I had Pirelli Sottozero (but in 19″ … they had more grip. But I don’t know if it might be due to the lower cross-section. Otherwise the combination is absolutely recommended. For the best I am absolutely satisfied with the consumption of 9.4 l. I would certainly not have been faster with a petrol engine. Since I would have liked to use an S7 I would have been interested in its average consumption. (Who has experience, would like to post) S7 back or forth, the motorization that I drove, if you are honest, is quite enough. I had the impression of being undermotorized at no time. Deceleration behind slower, or suddenly sheer The advantage of this “long-haul journey” was that I no longer noticed my clattering door panels. But it’s my turn … because that’s annoying to me, especially the ignorance of AUDI. … but that’s a different topic. So, conclusion … “quiet” car, suitable for all situations of life, a look for longer rides and not only for the “gallery”. The wheel-tire combination is perfectly fine, and if you’re honest the 245 Ps are also completely enough. Well, what I noticed, I have seen on the whole tour maybe 2-3 A7 … more not … where they hide only all So, End … Greetings of the Audifan

  • ***Aggregate thread on software updates***

In connection with a routine check in the workshop, we often find out that an update has also been added. These are mostly updates that optimize already existing features – very rarely even some are added. However, since the corrections are not so serious that they take place in the context of a recall action, the updates are played on “next opportunity” and often we don’t notice it at all. However, some people would probably be alone in The idea: whenever someone learns about an upcoming update, they could post this here and at the same time give a brief description. I’m curious to hear your remarks Greeting from Kleinmachnow

  • My Mustard + Questions

Dear A7 Peders, drive TDi (245 hp, 500 Nm), year 2/12, about 13 000 km. I am very impressed overall – nice design, nice interior, good seating, relaxed fast driving over long distances etc. I have read with respect to individuality that the gentlemen of the rings have targeted a production volume of 220 000 over 7 years. Does anyone have facts about A7 production figures ? On German ABs you do not see the A7 often. Does anyone know what about the A7 export quota (EU, China, USA) ? Unfortunately also a few things that I find suboptimal in the A7 : – Water inlet with stronger rain when opening the tailgate and door (unfortunately one must always have an absorbent cloth at hand). The frameless windows look sporty, but due to design are susceptible to loosening or fluttering fixation in the door rails. Does this happen after some time also (especially if one regularly sweeps the doors to the top with a handle) – to the R some of the windshield you cannot fold and lock the windscreen wiper side of the driver in the basic position. – the engine emits loud howling noise between 1900 – 2100 rpm (in the 7th course of the ST). Quite annoying, especially because it corresponds to about 130 km/h, a speed you have to drive more often because of AB-fullness. I then turn the music up to overtone the howling. Guess it comes from the gas flow in the engine (in the intake channel, turbocharger or exhaust gas). Am I the only one with this Problem or is that known ?? – engine noise in stand and at low speeds (cold) tractor-like. At higher speeds but nothing more audible. – the door seals also seem to close the water drains when closed doors. If the A7 is parked a few days in the rain a lot of water runs out of the doors when opening down. – the slump seats do not look so top class-like – the plastic shells (door pockets, beverage holder middle tunnel, down k Lapping armrests behind) are shabby, thin, cheap and nasty. And feel like that. – the sunroof creates violent vortices and noises with full opening at relatively low speeds. Then you would rather close it fast again (= I would have saved myself better this extra). Otherwise very satisfied !!!! Grützi

  • Keyless Go – on test drive it was still – now it’s gone?

Hello Together For almost 3 weeks I have been the proud owner of an Audi A7, model year 2011 (1st placing on the market 11/2010). The A7 is really a top car. Unfortunately, it has a good taste. It is about the Advanced Key (Keyless Go) system. I was able to test the system during my two test drives. The salesman explained to me how it works and I was surprised how easy and well the system opens and closes the car. At home I have the brochure and the equipment was studied by my newly acquired A7 and found that the car should not have the Advanced Key System at all. There can be mistakes in the equipment list, so I didn’t think about it any more. After 2 weeks waiting for the delivery I was very pleased to increase the car. He was really nice and powerful there. Unfortunately he didn’t open when I touched the door handle. After a few conversations with the seller, which is also safe, that we tried the Advanced Key functions together, a technician was brought to it. Unfortunately, it could not help too much. He noticed a bug in the access system, but it was only about an empty battery in the key. This was changed immediately; nevertheless, Advanced Key is not possible. Then the chief mechanic was brought to it. After all, he could make two interesting statements: Since the second key for the car was still missing, we have the R Before the car went into the workshop, I noticed something else: the lighting on all the door handles is not possible. Of course, I promptly reported that this might be an indication of Advanced Key problems. The car was in the garage for two days. Not only the door handles were changed, but also winter tyres were installed and a few other things in the interior were installed. Of course, research was also done on the Advanced Key problem and this was done together with Audi in Ingolstadt. But for them it was quickly clear: If it wasn’t ordered, he didn’t. Official statement of the garage after the 2-day stay: The car did not install the Advanced Key System. However, for me this is not a satisfactory answer, because: Therefore, I address myself to you, with the request for help. I am really happy here at the stop and about every little tip or hint. Thanks for your support! Many greetings Till

  • Start-stop drives crazy (do not stop as it should) – BiTDI

Okay, with the heading, most people will now think: is known, must have. I would like to use the SSA in fact as it is intended, at least sometimes. But she just doesn’t want to run the stop part of her name, or at least very rarely. My journey to work usually looks like this: going off, coming to the first traffic light in cold condition, when the brake is kicked off, the SSA shuts off the cold engine. &#$*!@##! After that, take a comfortable ride over the highway (we take an example of a really comfortable ride with max 150km/h so that the thing can not talk out with hot running turbos). Then a few traffic lights, at which the procedure looks like this without exception: arrive, brake, stop with the brake stop, crossed A in the FIS and the engine stays on. Actually it should go out according to BA with green A in the FIS. But does it not. But: I turn off the thing in “P” immediately. With green A and everything. ründ, why the SSA does not reach, not all apply, in particular the engine is much warmer than at the first traffic light where it still went out unreserved (which he should not at all, because engine cold). And as said, at switch position “P” it also goes out immediately. This behavior always occurs by the way with warm engine, thus also for pure city/road rides. Demand at the so far only a somewhat helpless sounding “there play quite many factors with pure” means. for me “Oh God no idea, this is complicated, please don’t seriously complain”. Well. We’re all just people, except the people who programmed the SSA probably. But maybe someone here has similar experiences and maybe even a solution? MfG, Robert

  • Test drive A7 biturbo

Yesterday I finally got a test drive in the A7 biturbo and would like to describe my impressions here. I am currently driving a 5 (F10 / 525d) and, since I can afford a certain price range, I have only driven BMW’s so far. I also want to drive something different and the A7 is definitely a nice vehicle. I have been interested in an A7 for a long time, but my local Audi dealer only has a 204hp vehicle on site and could not drive a 313p car. In any case, I have seen a second-hand (at another dealer) that could be interesting and I drove it yesterday: Equipment / Optics (outside): Grey with sports package – the absolute hammer. Looks even better than on the Internet, much better even. Great vehicle – 10/10 Equipment / Optics (inside): Quality look is great and the feeling of space fits as well. Almost fully equipped this is fun, however (and I say that) with a lot of caution, especially since I moved the vehicle for just 45 minutes) the Navi is weak compared to BMW. Head-up is only half as good as BMW and last but not least, the rear-view camera is not compared to what BMW offers. The Audi is a lot of fun and it feels good to sit in the vehicle and move it, but the details addressed are a bit disappointing. – 7/10 Driving performance: Couldn’t really develop a feeling of it in time – yes, it was snow l. But I had expected something brutal and somehow he seemed to slow down himself….something was missing and I can’t even explain it. Maybe my expectations were too high. I can also remember when I drove my 535d the first time a completely different feeling to experience. However, that was the fastest vehicle I’ve ever had by far and it can also be that I’ve gotten used to faster vehicles by now. u judge – 6/10 transmission: I’m actually a friend of the switch and first had a machine – the already mentioned 535d (BJ.2007 – 6-speed automatic). However, he had really disappointed me and then I told myself I would never get another machine. However, I just realize that this means that I can significantly restrict the choice of vehicles that I could drive and it is now practically no longer a manufacturer a 6-cylinder diesel S-tronic in 204 ps A7 had already convinced me very much and I was very excited about the Tiptronic…..After 45 minutes this is difficult to conclude, but the S-tronic seemed to me to be the better transmission. Also difficult to judge, but the enthusiasm I would have liked to miss a little bit – 6/10 suspension: the car is on everyone’s road well, better al s my current F10. But the time was too short to really develop a feeling for the different settings (sport / comfort etc.) – 8/10 All in all, I am now a bit unsure what I really want now. On the one hand I find the vehicle beautiful and it is also basically a very good vehicle. But I was not quite convinced – at least not to the extent that I would have expected it. Essentially I have the following questions: – Look at me maybe you better change after an S7, especially since the performance didn’t really convince me? Or is it the gearbox that makes me insecure? Can anyone understand what a dilemma I have here? – Do you get used to the navigator/return camera as a switch from BMW to Audi? It can’t be that bad, can it?
