Hello Have the following problem. So my 1.8T AJQ with 180hp series puffed up on over 200hp has said goodbye on the track, is already 3 months ago, but so far no one could help me. He takes no more gas, or let’s say so, as soon as I give gas knocks the engine without ending, if I give very minimal gas, so until briefly I can still drive over stand gas, but as soon as I go over it knocks it like crazy. And in the stand it sounds like a V8, but does not jerk in idle, k This is how it works. Error memory doesn’t show anything broken, except for the knock sensors, which they have reached the limit of the rules, etc. Since no one could help me, I work at VW, Master knew nothing, but didn’t have it checked out because I logged it off, so Meioster doesn’t know the problem. Since no electronic error was really detectable, I thought that probably the timing belt has slipped around a tooth, can that happen? And where does the OT sit? g? When I pull out the plug at the gear bell, I see the flywheel with gear wreath and before that there is also nocjh a hole, on the flywheel is a notch, is that OT? And on the camshaft wheel, is that the dot-like death? and that must then match the notch on the cylinder head cover, right? So how do I now recognize the camshafts, if the ev. are wrong? are there also markings on it, if I take off the ZK cover? I hope someone can help me further.

What good is a KKK K24 Turbo on the 1.8T?
Hello @ all Says, what can the KKK K24 turbocharger do on the 1.8T? Is it in order for the engine? And how much more does it bring in contrast to the KKK K03 turbocharger? Do I have a K24 7100, which is actually intended for my T3 bus, but since the K03 has unfortunately already delivered the spoon, I thought maybe to convert to the loader, or should I rather get the right one? What do you think?

What I find ridiculous
First of all, Moin, I don’t want to break a fight and I think the new Opels aren’t bad, but what makes me laugh on a regular basis is this CDTI bullshit. 1. 1.9 TDI –> Audi (yes, the TDI really developed Audi) 1. TDI –> VW (later with red letters) 2. DTI –> Opel 3. CDI –> Benz 4. TDCI –> Ford –> already ridiculous enough But the crowning of the embarrassment comes from Opel: 5. CDTI 6. 1.9 CDTI 7. And for me that most ridiculous: 1.9 CDTI M IT ROTEM T and ROTEM I. Does anyone notice something? Are these inferiority complexes or are the marketing experts at Ford and Opel simply unimaginable? Pentecost greetings from Hamburg, from the beer harvest.

Timing belts 1.8 5V at 180,000 km ?
Hello all, according to checkbook must be changed at my A4 1.8; 92 KW, Mj 2000, motor ARG of the timing belts only at 180,000 km. That seems quite late. Does the ball bearing of the tensioning roller last so long? How did you behave? Has someone ever had problems with the timing belt at the 92 KW machine? What does the timing belt change cost ? Tips ? Greeting Frank

Which engine for the =Audi=Cabrio=??
Hello everyone! Some time ago I had already opened a similar thread about the 2,3 2,6 and 2,8. But I still have no plan what kind of engine I should take now. Unfortunately the 2,8 falls away due to the high TK in the liability. So only the 2,6er, the 2,3er, and meanwhile I also include the 2,0er with. The 1,8er only gave at the end, and so much ash I have not that I could afford such a young cab. The 2,3er is j a, especially compared to the 2,6er also in the maintenance the better choice. Problem is that the 2.3er were installed only until `94 or beginning `95. But my car should have between `95 and `96, on it I have (unfortunately) set myself. Ok a top Pfelgter 94er would also do, but find something like that and then still as 2.3er. So that means that I would most probably have to take the 2,6er or the 2,0er. Of the 2,0er I hope not particularly much, but it is at least affordable. ar. I’m still young and don’t earn the very big money. Shouldn’t it mean that I could not entertain the 2.6, which only scares me the maintenance costs of the V6. How lame is the 2.0 really? And what does it consume compared to the 2.6? Nice evening still Kersten

Tdi qualitatively poor and short-lived
Hello, So I’ve already read many different articles about the 1,9 and 2,5 L engines and I’m really confused. I’m currently driving a 206 Hdi with 2,0L and 66 KW and now I want to buy an A4 Avant tdi, wants to spend between 9 and 12000 euros. For the money there is probably a car between 120 and 150Tkm, but which engine is the better, or what should I pay special attention to when buying? I also always read LMM. Should I perhaps choose another brand after all General I tend to the 2.5L engine, of course, but my buddy has it, as a carm. with chip, and it always seems so sluggish to me. Supposedly 170hp? About numerous tips and a lot of positive things about Audi Tdi ́s from experienced people would be really easier, because I really like the A4. Greeting Fritz

A3 1.8 T: LMM and ESP
A3 1.8 T: LMM and ESP (air mass meter causes ESP problem) Hello, I drive an A3 1.8 T with 180 hp. Had power problems until I tested the plug to the LMM (air mass meter). That helped, the engine has full power again. However, when I pulled off the LMM plug and then started the engine, since then the ESP warning light and the ESP, ASR, EDS… don’t work anymore. Is this a strange coincidence or does it hang together? Even with the LMM plug-on, the ESP warning light and the ESP, ASR, EDS… Plug still burns the lamp. Do you have similar experiences or solutions for this? Thanks to you.
