  • Oil consumption at Audi A4 8e 1.8T

Hello, does someone have the same problem or does anyone know any advice?? Did my Audi A4 Avant 8e 1.8T built in 2002 from the 100,000 KM limit have an increased oil consumption. Otherwise I drove back and forth every day 150 KM to work, since my wife Hem now drives mostly only short distances (now the car has 136,500 Km on it) he needs ÖL. Otherwise I came from customer service to customer service without pouring a drop of oil. But it seems to me now as if I did. It’s getting more and more. I’ve been pouring 2.5 liters of water since the last customer service. The remaining distance for the next customer service is about 14,000 KM! Only the funny thing about it is, engine is dry and with a customer service you have seen something with the turbo, but it is also dry. My customer service consultant says that it can lean on the piston rings that they are currently so comfy that it burns oil. Can that be?? Or does anyone have another explanation for me???r Bes Don’t you dare go ahead!!

  • Is A4 2.8 worth 220,000km?

Hello Audi driver, I recently had Audi 80 2.8E Coupe and was very satisfied.250 000km and engine 1a, consumption approx.10l/100 km. Now I would like to buy A4 Limusine 2.8,unfortunately I am not sure whether the A4 were as good as the Audi 80. Engine is probably identical to the Audi 80 B4. Is it worth buying a car with 220,000km?Have an offer, super condition, tuning etc.,unfortunately 17″ tyres with 225/245 tyres.Too much fuel consumption? Who already has over 220 000km and more? Some claim that the engine is easily 400 000km. What should you prefer to take 2.6 with 150hp or 2.8 with 178hp? Are there differences in consumption and quality? Thanks for tips

  • the new fuel not only for our AUDI’s poison?!

Hello AUDI municipality! No GO for “Bioethanol” Do we have to sell our Audis soon to the east? My opinion on the new organic blending sprite: On the one hand less oil (good) on the other side to grow huge plantations, for the organic parts in the fuel, where even large parts of the rainforest have to give way! Where is the sense of environmental protection!!!!!!!!!! Quite seriously! Environmental audit procedures should have been done, then they would have noticed in the analysis that thus a g The biggest environmental problem arises as the cars with organic driving! True according to the motto >the electricity comes from my socket! Here soon big thunderstorms open up! not only with the climate protection but also with our Audis I noticed that the manufacturers up until about 1.5 weeks ago still said that the used vehicles should not drive with the new petrolBiomixture (x<1998 BJ)! Yesterday then the message no problem all models (x<1998 BJ) can with the new Spri Where do we get the written confirmation from our manufacturer AUDI, so that I can secure a new engine of which (AUDI) in case of a case! PS: the new fuel is decided and thus it will come!!!!

  • Chip tuning

Hello people Knows one the chip tuner “OBD 2 Motortuning”, in D-21714 Hammah, or someone has already had experience with this company. Please report, positive as well as negative. My experience is now very negative. I had my A6 2.8 E Q equipped with a chiptuning from this company. Since then, the error, which is clearly caused by the chip, “control device defective” is stored in the error memory. Also the repeated replacement did not bring any improvement, it was rather The engine didn’t run as nicely as I used to. With the normal chip, the error is not present. Now, after long nagging, I got a new chip about 3 weeks ago, but I no longer feel any difference to the serial chip. I had this chip read out from another chip tuner. It was found that the values that cause a performance increase, injection and field of identification, were no longer changed and on the serial Nievau si and except for the check sum. I was told that with this software adjustment there is no increase in performance. My opinion is that this is going slowly towards fraud or what do you mean. mfg webalex

  • Turbo and great altitude?? Follows and cancellations?

Hello I want to ask the experts. I am the owner of a Leon Turbo, engine identification letter AUQ, with 180 hp. Since I live here in Mexico on a sea level of 2700 meters, I wanted to ask what the height is with a turbo, especially in connection with chip tuning. Since the air pressure here is almost 800 mbar, an acquaintance who was here once could make me only a small step of an OBD tuning, because apparently the loader would turn to death. What is there about Last year I had an accident, I only got the car in December last year. Since this accident I always have such a grinding noise, taking the gas way. If I drive “normal”, so like everyone else, then you don’t hear the noise either. Is such a kind of metallic grinding. Now I am already very annoying after many workshop stays, because they tell me that the turbo is gone. A It seems that the blades of the turbo should be on the turbogehaeuse, but they never took the turbo apart. I have to say that the chip tuning has only been on it for about 1500 km. And with this noise I have been driving for 10,000 km now, does not get better and not worse. Lt. Workshop is the aftermarket installed pop-off to blame?? Is that possible? Oil consumption I have almost no. Now after almost 12,000 km after the last service, the oil stand is still almost on the Ma Since I don’t know now if I should buy a turbo, I ask here. What I noticed, however, is that the pop-off valve gets very hot, is an aluminium valve, what can it be? I can’t judge if it was already before. You can’t attack it after a normal ride, that’s how hot it gets! I also think the suction bridge is much too hot, not even possible to attack it, and that’s after a normal ride. Is this an effect of The chip tunings? According to the acquaintance I have less than 195 hp and 260 NM. I once read that there are steering gears with an integrated knife, but was, if not everything is only doing for the diesel? So, who knows something about it, urgently need help, because I do not want to destroy my car, but also do not want to invest huge amounts of money… Thanks and beautiful greetings from Mexico Robert

  • 3.2FSI – opinions???

Dear sport friends. The 3.2 FSI has now received the valvetronic system. What do you think about the engine in general and special? Am superior to order it in the new A4? Fire free! Best regards.

  • Effectiveness of inspection and exhaust testing

Hi, I have a big problem, but I bought an A4 TDI 1.9 b5 Bj99 a year ago. Before the purchase, the car was in the inspection and passed an exhaust gas test successfully, but broke three days later. Result of total engine damage. Now a procedure is running against the dealer, the problem is he relies on the inspection and the exhaust gas test. This seems to me to be impossible to prove the opposite. I have very big financial problems we The car cost 1000€ at that time. I have inverted so much money into the car, you can expect to drive at least 1 year without any problems. My question now to you is: How meaningful are such inspections in the Audi contract workshop or exhaust gas tests. Both were successfully passed, but after approx. 1000km the car had engine total damage!!! How can s The court is now against us on the basis of these facts. He asserts that the damage AFTER the purchase, i.e. 3 days after receipt of the car, should have occurred. 1.Theory: Turbocharger defective dadruch was drawn oil in the diesel combustion room and the engine damage occurred.(Unfortunately, the case is excluded by the exhaust gas examination, which he had previously unmasked the defects:-( ) 2.Theory: Valve torn in the engine room and thus the engine damage should have occurred. D a this damage can occur at any time, so I stay at my expense. But I can’t believe that something like this can happen after 3 days. Can you do something about it? Are such inspections and exhaust gas tests really so meaningful? I really hope you can help me further I would be very grateful. Thank you With kind regards Lankan

  • Double cold start harmful?

Is it harmful for the engine (2.0 TDI with DPF in the A3) if I interrupt my usual drive every morning for a short stop at the baker? So I start the engine in the cold condition in the garage and drive a few hundred meters to the local baker. The engine is not warm until then of course. When I am finished after two minutes at the baker, I drive again and start the engine again in the cold condition and drive the actual track. Is this harmful to the engine? Should I miss my usual stop at the bakery and prefer to visit a bakery at the actual destination, if the engine has reached its ideal operating temperature and a new engine start is unproblematic? Is a stupid question, but would be interested in what you say about it.

  • Questions 1.8T /2.0 /2.4

Hello together, it may be that this topic has already been discussed here. Unfortunately, I did not find anything suitable – except the performance comparison 1.8t – 2.4 Is it possible to upgrade a petrol engine with autogas. Now the question for me is of course which petrol engine I should buy now. Why do you hear so little about the 2.0 he ???? Is it so bad?? How high are the differences of 1.8 T compared to the 2.0 in consumption and before ALL which engine lasts longer and is not so falsified lig ? There are certainly a lot of opinions – also I know that a & cylinder can not be compared to a 4 cylinder. Zwyr would be the 2.4 he would be the better choice because I drive 70% BAB, however the higher WErkstatt / taxes etc shy away…. So just let out your experiences … 🙂 Greetings and thank you

  • A4 1.8T power/consumption

Hello, I drive an A4 1.8T Avant with automatic. Built 97, top speed with tailwind: 205 0 to 100: 13.5 sec, average consumption never under 10 liters, even when driving overland. According to the user manual, the values are much better (even with automatic). Now the question is whether anything is wrong or whether the normal product dispersion is. Does anyone have experience with such a car?
