  • 1.8t Vs 2.4

Hello, since I’ve been interested in an a4 I’ve looked at both engines on the website… .. to my amazement I found that the 1.8T (according to technical data) appears better than the 2.4. max power is almost the same, the 1.8T reaches it even at a lower speed max torque is almost the same, the 1.8T has it even from 1950-4700 is at the end speed at the 1.8T higher acceleration is also better at the 1.8T as well the consumption is much lower what speaks for the large 2.4 liter, except the 6 cylinders and the rest of the run? it can’t be that the 2 cylinders and 0.6 cc space do not bring so much? also are offered with mobile and autoscout almost only 2.4 liter engines, it means that these engines are not popular, and the 1.8T are not offered because they are popular and will be kept?

  • Wind-to-the-hut noise V6 TDI

Hello together, since a few days I miss the turbo whistle and have a sound, similar to the whistling of wind around a hut. Also when giving gas in the stand with open door it sounds somehow like hissing anakonda. In driving mode until about 2000, then it disappears and in the steps 2 and 3 of the Tiptronic you can then feel a slight jerk (pos acceleration) but only very weak. In the past the typical turbo whistle was to be heard, that is missing now. ht, not noticeably less and since winter tires (T) I can not check the tip. Loader? Connector? Charging air cooler? Magic? Voodoo? Someone’s idea? Motor is an AFB re

  • Audi Diesel engines recall

VW REVIEW Small diesel engines need to be controlled The word “recall” avoids the Wolfsburgers frantically. Instead, the Group speaks of a review of the three- and four-cylinder diesel engines. Hello together Recently I have sporadically problems with the performance of my turbo. My vehicle a passat 1.8t abt chip 192 hp makes the following sounds: When giving fast gas after switching up the turbo thrust is missing. When giving slow gas thrust i.o. When driving slowly (80) in 5 gear suddenly full gas no thrust, the same with slow gas turbo comes normal. And the whole thing not always??!! I was in the workshop this week because of this problem. Error memory negative (No Eintra g) Charging pressure i.o. Test drive was also i.o. Does anyone have a tip for me ?? Greetings purer

  • 1.8t, hardly any charge pressure ASSISTANCE

Hello, I built another engine in winter in meien 1.8ter a4, namely a 96er 1.8T With 150hp (AEB engine) normal without tuning. Now everything went after some minor problems. Now to my problem: Sometimes, when accelerating the charging pressure stopped at approx. 0.3bar, when I am from the gas and then immediately gave gas again it is again high to approx. 0.7 bar. But since last Sunday the charging pressure does not exceed 0.2 to 0.3 bar. The acceleration is like as o b amn only drives quarter or half-gas, and I think the engine sounds funny too. I checked the following: Blow off (switch valve) ok. Charge pressure control valve n75 ok. Charge air system on tightness ok. have already installed new ignition plugs The error memory also gives no information, sometimes the throttle valve is in it, and namely throttle valve potentiometer unplausieble signal (but he had that from the beginning and it is not always in it) Furthermore, I have the measurement value blocks of the L MM read out, but these don’t go higher than 70, can it be because it doesn’t run properly and doesn’t build up any pressure? Please help me to reach icq too, NR: 179042367

  • Another engine damage TT 1.8T

Help!! Again an engine damage at 6300km! With my Audi TT C 180 hp a mototor damage occurred at 63000km. The following picture. Spark plugs completely burned 3 cylinders 0 compression cylinders 2 and 4 only half compression. So total damage. Since I studied engine construction it turns out for me that probably a knocking combustion took place which destroyed the engine. But the reason for this is not known to me, maybe I can help from you. Unfortunately this comes where Hl bei dann TT`s mehrer vor, wie ich lesen. !!!!!!Who has a similar problem please report to me!!!!! For information: Warranty has expired for 15 days. Estimate from Audi Werkstatt at least 60000.00Euro Kulanz from Audi at least 1000.00 Euro makes at least 5000Euro out of the own bag for a vehicle BJ 99 with 63000Km. Who has experience with Audi Kulanz???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No engine power 2,3/5

No engine power Audi80-B4-V5/2,3l Hello, for some time now my 80s B4 is running 2,3l/5zyl. avant Bj:12/94 not right unless you start driving immediately after starting with full throttle (OjeOje). It does not have any power, even at full throttle max:177km/h – should=195km/h not and in the extreme case only 4zyl. with loud false ignitions run. sometimes it therefore also goes out (usually with warm or hot engine). Biem Bosch service was therefore replaced the Lamdasson, but without result, except for the Kupplug , which after a visit to the workshop on the last third begins to tear / rip / hack problem 2: my two active original rear speakers (back doors) wanted to connect to my “JVC” CD radio and had bought me from AUDI a chinch connection cable (ISO on chinch) but everything I hear is very quiet no matter whether CD or radio. Problem 3: when hitting the steering wheel or when changing direction (back / before) comes from the front (ripe) a loud – crack noise. My 3rd AUDI 80 and now a Mo ntags-Auto o.doch vom Vorherhaber TOTgeritten ??? Can someone help me ?? Am for every tip Grateful !!! ps.: do you know a competent car workshop in the room KARLSRUHE ?

  • More power, HOW?

Hiho, I have a question ^ ^. How can I get more power with my 2.0l. FSI 110 Kw. Chip and exhaust are the first thing that came to my mind. That brings me about 15 HP. BUT: how can I buy without a compressor, turbo, NOS or even n new car on a few more horses? 180 HP wouldn’t be bad. Gruss, Sebastian

  • 1.8t 20v 180ps More Ps ???

Aloha he leutz! so, since in the audio area a little more is going on than in the seat area, I’m new here and have a question, I put this here… I have nen leon with the above data. is n audi motor, but I probably say the least something new… today I made acquaintance with a nice person who has told me (I’m not stupid, but no expert) on the fast two three things… and indeed somewhere at the loading pressure discharge hose you have to cut the cross section narrowing down to get a little more power out… he used n alu tubes. I can quite imagine that what is good, but the question is whether this really does something, or possibly only destroys more (the guy has it – say that everyone who knows him – maybe he lets it do so – greet you! ). the question is whether one simply narrows a certain distance from the corresponding hose via small clamps … should have the same effect. and what b wrestling a pop-off (or whatever off) valve OUTER ENGINES sound?! have a few questions, but let’s see what, that’s destined for the entrance enough and let me rest with the search function – there’s so much crams, where you don’t know what you’re building now and what doesn’t – who has a link to an existing threat, so – thank you

  • 1.8 T – Turbocharger eaten !!! KKK AEB *urgent*

Hello together, now it’s time. after 208,000 km (u 50000 m. Chip) the turbocharger has now said goodbye to no A4 1.8T BJ ́95 (engine identification letter: AEB). This has been announced for a few weeks by a noise (a kind of tin-clattering) – now… nothing works anymore (or little). But for that now nothing is going on :-(. I have already looked around, unfortunately I don’t know what ds 1:1 is compatible. You write: K03, others say K04-015 fits in. I’ve got from “old” times a picture taken (in the appendix). Can anyone tell me what I can take devinitively without having great expense and effort. I would be very grateful !! PS: When shooting a photo I saw that the one has a connection for the cooling water – above the oil inlet (= the lower connection). Ciao Hanz.
