Hello Audianer, actually wanted to write it before, but nu is the end with Funny : When I slowly gas or slow down with my A4 2.5TDI 163PS 6Gang MJ2004 between 1500 and 2200 tours (so in the city traffic wants to flow along, keep speed) he reacts rather unpleasantly to the gas commands…either he wants to jump off or he starts to jerk – whether engine is warm or cold. Oh yes, I have the impression that he is worse under full load. Yes, I’m a “sensitive” driver – whatever that means 🙂 Many thanks for your tips, Thomas.

Comparison: 2.3E vs. 2.6E vs. 2.8E
Hello everybody! So it’s about the above-mentioned motrorens, thought for the convertible. Which is the best compromise of driving performance and maintenance? Which is the BEST (can you say that at all?) ??? Sure, I thought the 2.8er has the most bangs, the 2.3er is the most economical. But is that really so? Yesterday I was just surfing around on the HP of a chip tuner for fun, and there stood at the consumption values WITHOUT power increase, that the 2.3er consumes more than the other two. Is that possible? So the smallest engine consumes the most? I know this has been chewed through a thousand times, but I want to know now exactly whether you can maintain these engines overhappy. I heard the 2.3er can swallow a lot but not, is that in some areas perhaps more economical? Is the consumption for the corresponding power ok? I mean a Honda v-tec with 150 or 160hp consumes by far less! Then the power. So especially a lot have the yes Not all for their displacement. I also heard that the 2.6 should be tired, and hardly drives better than the 2.3, only used up like the 2.8. What can you say about it? Then there was still with these data sheets that the 1.8 20V should have more torque than the 2.3. Real? How is the ratio with the weight?? So if you pull yourself in that the 2.5l of BMW 193PS, which the 2.8er nichma creates, then it seems poor to me at the first glance. Ciao Kersten

More power, less exhaust!
I would like to discuss the following topic: “Elevation of performance and reduction of exhaust gas by increasing the oxygen content in the intake air.” A complete combustion of the Russian in diesel vehicles is shown. A particle filter would therefore be unnecessary. A performance increase can also be achieved if the oxygen in the ambient air can be adjusted.

Engine weights: comparison four-/six-cylinder
[EDIT: For multi-forum readers: The thread was already in the A5 forum, but I “excluded” it when I saw the special motor forum] Just think about adding an A5. I had thought about a four-cylinder TFSI (hopefully the 2.0 TFSI that will be released soon), because I don’t need that much power first and, secondly, I don’t want to drive around on the front axle with such a six-cylinder block. In the A6 the 2.0 TFSI (I know, the “old” model is still) – only 5kg lighter than the 2.4-cylinder – 10kg heavier (!!) than the relatively modern 2.8 FSI six-cylinder – and only 20kg lighter than the 3.2 FSI in a completely different class In the A5 the 1.8 TFSI is at least 100kg lighter than the 3.2-cylinder. FSI (no quattro). However, this will be more due to the better equipment, because in the A3 Sportsback the 1.8 TFSI (new?) is only 15kg lighter than the 2.0 TFSI (old?). Does anyone know about the engines? Is the turbo with the charging air cooler etc so heavy? Or is the four cylinders based on a potentially heavier cast iron block and the secers on an aluminium block? According to the above calculation, an A5 2.8 FSI with +/-5kg would be as heavy as the 2.0 TFSI, and with a much better prestige ! And the consumption advantage of the TFSI engines is even more relative the more you use the turbo.

Chip tuning!
Hello! I would like to use my Audi A4 1.9 TDI pump nozzle 130 HP chip tunen. The chip should not be too expensive and should not harm the engine at all. How much can the engine or gearbox withstand etc.? I have seen a chip (P-Box), which would bring 30hp and 50Nm more. Is that bad for the engine? Should you even leave your fingers off at all? But a little more thrust in the higher gears wouldn’t be bad! Does anyone know me a “good-natured” chip that doesn’t z u very badly recommend? Please for feedback! Thanks already in advance. With kind regards

K03-sport loader? (A4, BJ95)
Hello all, I own an A4 1.8T 150 hp, BJ95 and am looking for a bit more power. However, the Kahn has already 140000 km down and I am thinking about whether this can make any sense at all. Rothe Motorsport is only about 5 km away from me, which think I needn’t be afraid that the engine would not break me. Oettinger, on the other hand, says the opposite. Therefore, I am somewhat unreliable. Normal chip tuning on 180-190 hp would be already If my loader smokes off, I would then have a bigger one installed. Have read here in the forum, possibly to install the K03 Sport loader (should fit if I understood it correctly). Does that make sense, or do other parts have to be exchanged next to the loader? Have found in EBay a 180-hp loader for small money, but from the 98 model…. Would it fit? Here the link: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?… Gruss Thomas

Audi A6 2.5 TDI smokes heavily!
Hello, for some time I have a problem with my Audi. As soon as the oil temperature rises above 65 C it smokes extremely strongly from the exhaust. And that almost all the time. When I stand at the traffic light the whole crossing is agonized. The smoke is white/blow and smells like burnt oil. White one what that can be? I tap valve cover seal… Achja is a 98 (110KW) with 170000km. Gruss David Hab still something forgotten: The oil level goes down very little over time. ..

Cold start problems 2.5 TDI V6
Hello people, after changing the diesel pump (refreshly adjusted by Bosch service) the engine starts very badly. All necessary seals have been replaced. This only occurs in the morning when the vehicle has stood longer. Nothing in the fault memory. Does anyone have an idea where to look?

1.8 “Vorsprung durch Technik”?
Hi guys! I’ve been driving a B5 with the 1.8 machine for half a year now. The behavior is curious: when I step on it he needs as much/less than when I drive in 5th gear 80-100 km/h (never more than 3000 rpm). This applies to short distances as well as for long distances alike. Only when using SuperPlus the consumption went down a bit (since recently not even that, less than 9 l are no longer in it even for long distances). m “cheapest”? – Does “gliding” in the 4th/5th in urban traffic what? -Or are 2000-3000 rpm generally better? What is your “consumption record” max/min? With me 8.0 l/100km (pure highway, almost permanent >160 km/h) and 10.5 l (rather short distances, “driving school driving mode” I guess Audi took the engine out of the offer for good reason Beautiful weekend Franz

1.8T motor constantly loses pressure..
Hello I have a problem. My TT engine loses the pressure at 4 and 5 gears after 7-11 sec. The engine first makes over 1.5 bar overboost then it jumps to 1.2-1.3 bar and then it goes up to about 0.6 bar when of course I press full throttle all the time when let go between time gas for 2-3 sec. then it builds up pressure again. I was able to pull up the 4 gears to 230 earlier without letting go of the accelerator, now I have to let go a few times gas pedal to reach 230. Someone knows the problem.. And I also constantly get the ignition coils capput. I only changed the car for 1 year but I already changed 4 spouls. One coil even lasted only 4 months. Someone had had had it already.
