Question to speedrs4: Do you have experience with K&N air filters for the 10 Zyl. (Bj. 02/2015)? Supposedly the oil should settle in the intake track, e.g. at the air mass meter and then distort the internal measured values. In other words: too little air mass = less injection = less power! I can’t understand this. Over the long term, much more ÖL/oil mist should be added to the test rack via the crankcase ventilation.

Hello together, I noticed during the last season at the R8 that after a cold start the start of the journey is a bit difficult as if the clutch would grind, so if I operate the accelerator pedal the speed increases but the drive is felt at 30%. If I wait after the cold start until the increased speed re-enters normal, this problem is no longer present and I can start normally. Is this problem worrying or a special feature of the G drive? I could live with it but would like to fix this if possible. V10+ Year of construction 2013 approx. 40tsd km Thanks and greetings Chris

Hello from Bocholt I inserted a smaller SIM card on my Audi R 8 year 2020. OK, I made a mistake. Should have been better careful. For this mistake the Audi AG tells me now, I should have a new control unit installed. Costs approx. 5,000,00 Euro plus installation and removal etc. Think this is a lot for a small mistake. Therefore I ask for help here, maybe someone knows a free workshop in Germany that could help me. At the Audi AG ha I wrote to the board and asked for help. Hello, I’m looking for a way to use the original antenna inserted in the front panel for DAB+ reception. At the moment I use a disc adhesive antenna, this works wonderfully only it looks cruel. Just as I found out now sitting at the end of the A-pillar on each side an antenna soft, left FM1 and right FM2. That would have to be the two antenna cables that also arrive at the bottom of the radio. Would it now work, for example, if I had the FM 2 Switch for a DAB+ capable (8t8035225D) and put another cable to the radio? Does the normal radio reception still work, with limitation ? Maybe someone had the same idea and can tell me something about it.

Hello, I have noticed for some time that my R8 hits every small floor wave. I drove to the friendly ones, they also looked the same and have found the 3 shock absorber oil lose. I am really a little disappointed because my R8 has only 66000km and the friendly ones of me now want to have 5300 euros. Also on Kulanz nothing would be possible, not even a partial amount. I am really disappointed by Audi, that in such a short time 3 dampers defective Now I am thinking of whether instead of the original Audi shock absorbers I should rather buy a suspension from Bilstein, since I think that the later sale of the car will be more lucrative.

Hello Audi fans So far I always had Mercedes and would like to increase for the next summer season an Audi R8 Spyder 5.2 R-Tronic from the year 2012. It is only this engine in question, because I do not like the 4.2 at all. I also found a vehicle (CH) which currently has 60tkm. All services were carried out at an official representation and I would get another year warranty on engine and transmission. Now I wanted to ask if the car any known “children ill” What do you have to pay particular attention to when buying? Be this on the engine or machine or anything else… In the net there are a lot of cars from this model with over 130tkm, for this reason you can already say a bit in advance that the engine doesn’t have to be bad. Many other sports cars from other brands leave Europe at 100tkm, because the repairs are exceptionally high. This would be my first Audi, and would be happy if I got some feedback. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with your cars.
