Hello dear R8 community, I’ve been browsing the forum for a long time, because I’d like to buy an R8. Unfortunately I only have a very specific budget ( about 60000 € ) . I would be very grateful if you would think of me if you hit an R8 in this price situation. For me, R-Tronic and full leather seats are important. I have now read about an upgrade of the engine again and again, from which year of construction is a R8 recommended? Hello dear R8ler, I have been a “silent profiteur” and co-reader of this forum for some time, since my wife and I want to extend our fleet (BMW 5252d and Q7 3.0 TDI) to a used R8. So far I have been able to learn a lot from this forum and would like to thank all of you for this. Today we have borrowed a R8 candidate from the friendly who comes for us question. Hello, I have been watching the used car market in the area R8 V10 since 2-3Monten, because I want to switch from my V8 to a V10. What I notice again and again is the EXTREME loss in value of the R8 in the first 2-3 years. For my feeling this is as extreme as with no other comparable “super sportsman”. Did you notice this and how can it be?? 40-50% in the first 2years there is no exception !

Hello dear R8 forum, I have been reading silently and quietly for months now with… very entertaining and informative here and so slowly my dream of own R8 seems to be fulfilled. Hello guys! I have a problem again and hope someone can help me. We bought our R 8 this year in February and the previous owner had a used car warranty ” PerfectCar Warranty” www.vvd.de for 1 year. This runs now in January 2013 and we wanted to extend it now by another year. Now we have been informed that for the Audi R 8 this possibility does not exist:-() ? That with the 1 year would have been a special agreement ??? What always Does someone from you vll. have a used car warranty ? Or even one with said fuse which he extends over and over again? We would like to take out such insurance ! R8 is Bj 8/2008 with 59,000km and has of course always got all maintenance and inspection work in a contract workshop . Would I be happy about answers. Hello, my girlfriend’s R8 recently pulled on the winter tires. Today, two mishaps happened to me with the car. First I drove on a supermarket parking lot over a long plastic hill and put on the underfloor. Shortly afterwards I drove into a parking garage on the same day and drove the ramps (unsettled about the parking incident) extremely creeping to not put on the front lip. However, it was not possible without putting on the parking garage. I have the suspicion that the workshop has sluggished when changing tyres and has set the car too low. I would like to say that the track and fall of the car were adjusted immediately before the tyre change. In addition, the summer rims have 19 inch, the winter rims only 18 inch.
