Hello @ all.. I once have a curious story to tell 🙂 When yesterday my cousäng wanted to experience a performance proof of my R8, he drove by with me with his Audi S4 (Mod. 2011, 3.0T). When we compared the performance and he of course only got to see the rear part of my R8.. 😀 … he could see it when switching, about 30 cm long flames came out of the tailpipes !!? Hi, so far I have washed the R8 by hand. I would be interested where you can wash your R8. Always by hand is a bit time consuming for me. The last time I had the car washed at Aral. But without my navigating wife I hardly come between the two rails. Had left and right just 4cm distance. Does anyone have experience with washing roads? Where can you drive in without problems? Hello, would like to hear an opinion. Would like to buy a used R8 from a dealer. I visited one that looks so good (matt camoflagegrün). He is BJ 07/2015 (so one of the first) and has 5400km. He was registered as an Audi factory service car, 1 previous owner and accident-free. The seller assures me that it is not a racetrack vehicle (driving experience), as these are marked by Audi accordingly he can assure me. What I am looking for My question is this: Is it possible that with “normal” R8 use (that means with speedy driving, but no race track) after max. 5000km the tyres are already worn and have to be replaced? The history at Audi is empty. If the tyre change is not stored in the vehicle history at Audi or does this happen only when the vehicle has been replaced by the vehicle history at Audi. A warranty up to 5 years and 200,000km is sold with the same scope as the manufacturer’s warranty extension. Nevertheless, I don’t want to have any racetrack vehicle. My big concerns are then the ceramic brakes, which are not exactly cheap. Greetings, Marco

My friend will be 22 years old on 01.09. and has a driver’s license since his 17th year with which he has to date also accident-free. I have already found some landlords who rent from the 18th or 21st year and at least 3 years of driver’s license possession, however unfortunately usually only 30 minutes and otherwise unfortunately not in our vicinity (Landshut, Regensburg, Munich). Hello everyone. Unfortunately, I still haven’t managed to report my r8. With the takeover of my sf class it won’t really happen. So I’m forced to take one of my old sf classes, which are of course not very cheap. Check 24 does not show all insurances. And I personally don’t know all of them. Can you possibly tell me your experiences, which insurance you like at the r8 as cheap? Of course, this depends on the place of residence al for my SL, for example, HDI insurance was extremely cheap compared to others only as an example. At the moment the price is about 240€ per year for a comprehensive with sb 2500 and partial cascade sb 1000€ price is fine, but I find SB too high for the price. Moin, I’m looking for an R8 V10 roadster, not older than two years and max 20,000 km. It’s usually around 150.000€. Then I found one at Auto Scout EZ 04/18 with less than 8000 km on the clock. Only 106,000. Visually exactly as I want it to have. V10 540PS. But if that’s so cheap, it also has hooks. US import vehicle, ok, no problem with it. Hello, I have the following question, maybe someone can help you? I have the feeling temporarily with my R8 from 2016 that transmission would swallow up even though it does not switch at this moment. The problem only appears on the highway. If I drive for example constant 120 km/h then you notice partly that for about 1-2 seconds the thrust is interrupted and then comes back. It feels like a swallowed by the transmission. Maybe it is also not on the transmission? It is every However, on the km/h display you don’t notice that. 1-2 seconds are probably too short for that. Do you want to change the front brake pads (no ceramics) at my R8 night, windows still look great Have searched the forum as well as the net, but no change to the topic R8 brake pads found! If someone has a link, where the extension is described, all the better… Otherwise: Is there something special to consider possible special tool etc.?
