  • Manual gearbox hooked (3rd gear) after gear oil change with original gear oil

    Hello Schraubergemeinde, am not a long time R8ler and was so far more interested reader as topic writer. (also in the R8-Quattro Forum) In the course of a large inspection after 8 years (Bj2009) and 33000km the “life-filling” gear oil of my manual manual transmission changed for a new filling with original expensive G052171A. quantity etc. (3.5L) according to specification. (The part number is for’s manual transmission) With some measure fast gear change of 2nd in the 3rd gear is at the egg This was definitely not the case with the old oil. I’m a car driver and 100% screwdriver, so “is also filled in enough oil” etc. can be excluded as a possibility. Is there any experience regarding other oils from Castrol, LiquiMoly etc.? Syncronrings should be quite sensitive about the type of oil in principle!? The original oil should, however, be of its own accord. h work!!   • No more R8 successors?

    Audi reportedly stopped the development of the R8 (4S) successor, i.e. the third generation. Instead, Lamborghini Huracan, Lamborghini Aventador and (new) Porsche “960” should come on a joint platform… The V10 in Huracan will be replaced by a V8 biturbo, which is also to be used in the “960”. The V12 in the Aventador is supposed to be preserved. Sad if it is correct. Probably that’s why the 2.9 l V6 Biturbo was put on ice a few days ago (Anbli (ch).

  • Do not open R8 exhaust flaps

    Hello together, I have a flap control that starts automatically when starting in “loud” mode. Can’t be reprogrammed. What do I have to do to always start in idle mode. I’m happy to take the electronic flap control out of operation. Is that enough?

  • Driving stability

    Hello together, I am concerned with the stability at high speeds. Specifically, I have problems at high speeds with the car. Especially if the road has many unevennesses. My V10+ has no dynamic steering and has pushed it onto these.     hi dear community, what do you think of such a folding control ? my v8 exhaust is in factory condition ! at the cold start it sounds ok only if I leave too quiet .. in the inner city I hear hardly which solution is to be recommended in my driving mode ? also no special amg sound .. too loud and too embarrassing .. so if you want to imagine the pictorial .. an old cl 500 from 2006 without cats with plastic bumpers ! does the control have an effect at all ? or is there any in difference? disadvantages for motor ? lg ezzo

The manufacturer is very well known and very popular in the industry, GTI, R32, S3, TT, etc. Because I have been a loyal and very satisfied customer for several years, I had the exhaust system made for the R8 also with the guys.
