Do you want to change the front brake pads (no ceramics) at my R8 night, windows still look great Have searched the forum as well as the net, but no change to the topic R8 brake pads found! If someone has a link, where the extension is described, all the better… Otherwise: Is there something special to consider possible special tool etc.? Have you heard somewhere, you would have to return the brake pads electronically with a VCDS diagnostic device??? Cars with a big screwdriver pressed back! Does anyone have experience with the upgrade/installation? Can I think even with an R8 I might not be a witchcraft… Greeting Rainer

Hello together, I would have a few questions about the R8 . I’ve been playing a bit longer to buy a R8 V10 coupé (used, of course). I had already spent a lot of money and just wanted to get some tips from already experienced R8 drivers. Had to buy the Audi by financing before me. Would you be very connected if you changed some “small things” like oil, insurance (full cash) fuel, set rims, inspection etc. again list t. Not that I would be too lazy to take into account myself would only be interested in how you deal with the costs. I think my profession doesn’t play a big role. Moin, after reading here that it should make a noticeable difference, if you have the engine software optimized with the 525hp V10, I wanted to let it be done with mine too. The mostly recommended tuners like KH-Tuning or Mega Speed are unfortunately everything else than with me around the corner. Therefore, I looked here in the Hamburg area for tuners, who allegedly also have an idea of the R8. Now I came across someone who optimizes the MK1 42- 5.2 FSI V10 (525hp) on 565hp/565NM offers. Then he also has an MK1 42- 5.2 V10 (525hp) which he optimized to 590hp/600NM. I didn’t know that there are two different engines and only knew the 5.2 FSI V10, just like my 2012-er is also on the engine cover. Hello people have some questions about the Audi MMI as an absolute Audi newcomer as well as the music usage in the R8. Last time I bought the USB MMI cable because I listen to music in my BMWs via USB and take the stick from car to car with me. Connected, missing. There is no music source connected. Is a 16GB USB stick from Sandisk. There are folders with songs, so relatively normal structured – nothing special. Do you have an idea about what this might be? Music is mine really important in the car and the B&O is simply fantastic! Then I have a question about the SD card, was yesterday precaution with Media Markt & bought a 32GB SD card and an SD USB adapter stick to be able to play simple music. Do I have to pay attention to something when I transfer music there? The format etc.? In the appendix a picture of it, vll. can you tell me if it is the right one. Hello people For our 2009 R8 switch- 93,000 km. Has a small problem. (see picture) Lower left tráger has a game (on the picture nr.20) Only possible to have the whole in both silks according to Audi. Hi Together I would like to change to the R8 4S (2016-2017, km under 40k, v10 + coupe). When driving the car you just found it awesome. Now I try to fight through the equipment jungle. So slowly but surely I know what I have to have and what not. A couple of points are open like e.g.: Dynamic steering: Do you need this? I drove an R8 with dynamic steering. So unfortunately I did not compare. I found the steering great, but is the normal also good? n becomes difficult, most car dealerships give the R8 very reluctantly for test drives, which I can also understand. Magnetic Ride: I’m not sure if it’s even possible to configure the car without Magnetic Ride at the v10 +, is this not series as well as the laser light? Decor rack Carbon: Which parts are exactly? And does this result in a difference to extended carbon storage Ventilation anything? Carbon ext. Vs Carbon package ext. Exclusive, there is a difference or is this just different «wording». SportAGA: in conjunction with the steering wheel button, is there really a flap on/to or just the flap-hugging different? Because fully on/to be can not meet today’s standards. B&O series at v10+? Hello Together, the other day tomorrow – I wanted to drive to work – I stepped the clutch and the pedal went down without closing the force. Clutch did not separate and thus selected replacement car. After three days I wanted to look for what it was all about. So tools put together to start. I started the car again before to check the behavior again and see there, everything works after three times pumping (pedal only half pressed through again right, Hmm. At the moment all Does anyone know the symptom? I then dismantled everything in the front (including windscreen wipers) in order to look for leaks on the main brake cylinder (for which is actually the yellow closure next to the filling lid?). The brake fluid is a little under Max (but I drove with the new brake approx. 27000 km). Couldn’t detect leaks. Also nothing on the encoder cylinder. The pick-up cylinder is in the gearbox bell. (Drips or similar I could not determine from the outside (top and bottom). Does anyone have any idea what is in the Argen? Greeting to Alle armin

Good day, I found a very nice R8 and wanted to buy that car is standing at the Audi center of my city. He has only 1 previous owner, who is already known at the Audi center! The car has 35000 km! Of course the car is accident-free, according to Audi center! Today we almost finished the contract, accident-free was crossed, on the subject of lack he writes that the bonnet was repainted because of stone strokes, then I was totally surprised, but he is accident car I said! nn he said no! The car is accident-free but the previous owner wanted the stone strokes away, and had the bonnet painted in the Audi center with us, he showed me the invoice and pictures, yes, that was certainly repainted because of stone strokes! Before I signed the contract I told him that I wanted to think again! Does the car count as accident-free or not ?? Thank you

Hello municipality I have been on my R8 V8 BJ 2007 a strange sympthom: If he has stood for 1 day and is really cold, I have a very high whistle/singing noise when driving, which also changes with the engine/gear speed, (similar and very good comparable to a flying drone) After about 30-60 seconds driving this initial noise has completely disappeared, and the R8 drives as always, without problems, without error messages in the KI ! As I said, so far he has always stood about 1 day.If I drive in between, this initial noise is not! Will however tomorrow, if he is cold again test, whether this also occurs at the level when giving gas, or only while driving, where I would then more honorably push it on the gearbox! Someone on his R8 already had something like that, or. has an idea?
