Hi together I’m going to see an R8 performance from 02/2019 at a dealer’s on Friday. He has 9000km on the watch, 5 years warranty package and quite full cabin. 20” tire chaos at the new R8? (PZero)
With my R8 V10 Plus (4S, i.e. second generation) new tyres are due after approx. 11500 km. No problem, was to be expected. Originally the 20 customs Pirelli PZero R01 were on it. I was relatively satisfied with the tire and wanted to switch now also to the PZero R01, because the optional Cup 2 R01 for predominantly road operation are too bad for me. The R01 designation usually says that the tire during the entire lifespan in the mixture and in the profile pattern is identical i But now comes the hammer: Since the MJ2017, Audi has apparently been delivering an improved version of the PZero on the new R8, namely the PZ4. You can recognize these tyres at the additional PZ4 lettering right of the production date and… on a different tread pattern. So far, so good. Unfortunately, Audi has remained at the R01 designation even though this tyre has a different rubber compound and an other The problem is that when the old tyre and the new tyre are “mixed” it can be bad in the eye. The new PZ4 is basically the same PZero, which Porsche now uses with the 991.2 Turbo S (Facelift) and with the N1 identification. This tyre has a fantastic dryness, almost semi-slick similar. Brake fluid change costs
Hello R8 friends, my R8 is going to be three years old and should now get TÜV and brake fluid change in the AZ. Are the prices normal? Brake fluid change = 230,00 Euro TÜV examination = 115,00 Euro TÜV costs 87,90 Euro directly at the TÜV, why the AZ there beats on it surprises me. PriorDesign GT650 rear wing + comparison real carbon/gold carbon
I bought the PriorDesign GT650 rear wing, was looking forward to it, the quality was unfortunately not very “pass accurate”, we had to drill holes in the holding plates ect., but after more than five hours he sat then finally. First I wanted to foil it in the same green as the vehicle, but then decided for our gold carbon printing process. I immediately made the original extended wing in gold, this was coated in real carbon – this had to be soft. R8 Interested, tips purchase advice
Dear community, After reading a few hundred posts I would say I am already well informed. R8 V8 ideas for the sideblades, other color
Hello, mine is in black with the silver sideblades, since I don’t come to the v10-blades at the moment, I want to have the blads of the v8. I don’t know in which color, I’m soooo indiscriminate. Mount the sports button?
Hello people I am in the middle of the conversion process and now something very annoying has happened to me, I have damaged the rubberization of the sports button a little bit. Since the paintr is supposed to be in for other parts, I have thought of having the button painted then, unless there are alternative /ideas. The rubberization is so far down that the white is to be seen. I do not know if there is the button individually and how I can get it off at all. Google unfortunately did not help me the conversion is logged and documented and then presented here after completion but the sports button has to start but how?

R8 Wintered, occasionally start engine or not?
Hello guys, I got my R8 V8 on about 2 months ago. Fully fueled, rubber protection over the seals, battery hung up on the current and covered. My question would be now, you have to leave the R8 on now and then? I left it on a few times shon and yesterday when I left it on he didn’t start cold. So the c.a 15-20seconds cold start he didn’t make. In my single box it is always between 18 and 22 degrees warm. Can it be because it’s warm in the garage And that’s why he didn’t start cold? Engine damage R8 / V8 what’s with culant
Moin! I bought a R8 4 months ago ( stutter it off! ) and yesterday on the A7 at approx. 250 km/h, the EPC and shortly afterwards the engine control light approached. I then kicked the clutch immediately, engine went off and I rolled on the stand strip. When starting again extremely loud noise from the left cylinder bench. I already found a lot about engine damage and it seems to be no rarity. Now I am second owner, car is 5 Years and has 40000 km. The previous owner once had HU/AU done in a free workshop and the oil change (although not yet due ) with him. Does there still something on Kulanz at Audi or do I drive again when I have the coal for a new engine?? Please let me know all the experiences regarding Kulanz! ……thanks!
