  • Wintering and battery

I bought my R8 last month and drove it into the garage after a nanosealing for “wintering” because I can only drive with session license plate from April. I stuck off the positive pole of the battery. But I’d rather if I could take the whole battery out to store it in the warm apartment and charge it every six weeks. Now to my question: Can someone tell me what I have to dismantle everything to get the battery out? At first It looks like I have to unscrew the complete covers at the front. Is this a big act and you get everything back without any problems? In advance, thank you very much for your help and greeting from Kaiserslautern. 🙂

  • R8 color what falls on ?

It’s amazing how the different colors on the R8 look, from red-black R8 V8 Coupe to R8 V10 Spyder Cabrio changed into teak brown. The “old” was damn loud and has already noticed due to the sound. The “new” is relatively quiet and everything is still original. But in the parked condition it is already noticeable, the red was like a magnet, whether it’s a resting place or parking space on the supermarket or in a street. Only the Regula Kit, it can not have been located. At the red people stopped, have partly even taken photos and were very interested in the vehicle. Teak brown does not notice, the vehicle seems rather inconspicuous. As show car the color is not suitable. I don’t care, the car has bought for me. If you plan a purchase and want to stand out with it, should choose a bright color, red, white, yellow etc. apparently brings the contours to the point. Or bright cars just fall out more. I haven’t seen it yet Teak brown looks very serious, but rather unremarkable.

  • Departure Sunday 13.10. Munich- Czech Republic Shopping

Hello R8ler, there has been a lot of talk, but it’s about time. If the weather is right, at least it should be dry, there is a day trip to the Czech Republic. Suggestion: Sunday 13.10.2013, around 9 am you should be on the slopes. Day trip, -just 195 kilometers, driving time is easy 1 hour and 45 minutes. the highway has never had a traffic jam and it is almost always free ride, something goes on.. Route 1 Munich, past the airport, past Landshut , all motorway with short speed limit at Landshut, otherwise free ride! After 100 kilometers we go down from the highway at Landau and continue on a well-developed Landstr. direction Straubing- Cham. At Furth in the forest we cross the border. Right after the border you can shop at over 300 stands. There are also fixed buildings with supermarket, hairdresser and much more. Alternatively Route 2 is not further, which would be interesting if some from the area of Ingolstadt want to go. Munich motorway, direction Nuremberg, out at Wolnzach, direction Regensburg and further to Cham. I would be flexible. The length is almost the same. The Czech market has a lot to offer. -CDs Music 1 Euro everything that is current -DVDs new movies 2 Euro -Red Bull Can 90 Cent -Benzin 1.45 Euro for Super, very modern petrol stations, frost protection is also very cheap -Frisör Men 5-6 Euro -Manicure for the lady, very cheap, with fingernail treatment -Schnaps, wine, spices, sausage approx. 20%-30% bill More expensive than ours -cigarettes 3.20 Euro, 4 sticks per person are allowed – otherwise clothes, socks, jackets, backpacks, hats, cap, cap, cap, watches, sunglasses, towels, jerseys, bags, shoes, mobile phone covers, without end -bird houses, plants, garden gnomes, baskets, electric shockers, knives and hit rings – many brand fakes partly well done. You can fill the trunk easily.http://www.google.de/imgres?… The market is just behind the border. After the market there are a few Kil ometer further, there is a good restaurant, a bit remote and runs under insider tip. Directly at a small lake. Very good food, from steak to fish, duck etc. It is very cozy, cheap and good. Mostly it is so 14.00 – 15.00 clock when it goes back to the home trip. I have already made the trip about 10 times and I can highly recommend it. Especially the Frisör Pralle sun doesn’t have to be, but it should be dry already on the road, otherwise a week later. I drive to all Cases (if it’s dry) Just such an idea, meeting point 8.45 am on Sunday 13.10.2013 in the parking lot in Eching, right next to the highway at Mc Donalds next to IKEA, exit 9.00 am, then you can decide the route, depending on interest over Regensburg or over Landshut. (via Landshut you can let it crash better ) Who wants to? Greeting Richard

  • Audi R8 Presentation – The new one in the forum 🙂

Hello R8 friends ?? Would like to introduce ourselves and our R8. We come from Austria, in the middle of 30 and are really Audi crazy/fans (A3, A5, A6, A7 had or we have already had). Since recently we can now also accommodate a R8 V10 (42) in our garage. ?? As a family, the R8 is only a pure summer car for fun. We have really fulfilled a childhood dream now. We look forward to sharing experiences and many nice shared moments under Audi/R8 Li Greetings PS: Photos were made professionally.

  • Audi R8 Sound Model 2020

Hello, I’m playing with the idea of having a louder exhaust system (possibly Capristo) installed on my Audi R8 Performance, Model 2020. Can anyone tell me if I am losing my factory warranty + my additional warranty extensions? What other options are there to get the car louder without losing my warranty? Thank you very much.

  • Presentation R8

Hello, not to talk about the other thread here my vehicle presentation. Technically, a lot is already known from the video of Franz Simon. Yes, the exhaust is open really very loud, whereby I drive to 99% with closed flaps. I am no one who bangs with open flaps through the city center. Otherwise, I’m more the one who is pleased that he could if he wanted. Important with the car were above all the shell seats, because I put on the R8 sports seats I’m really happy with the R8, except that Audi can’t afford to stay with a homelink system, in the A8 both garage and driveway work without problems, in the R8 neither of the two gates, so now a control of the gates has been installed over my iPhone. On the highway I had it on 347km/h. Tacho. Franz has already measured the acceleration times. The rims are the Drago by Schmidt, v orne 20- and rear 21-inch. in combination with the discreet lowering the R8 looks really great. Kind regards. Normi
