    I need the help of the R8 drivers here: And I am looking for an insurance that covers a 10 cylinder R8 Spyder fully cascade. What kind of insurance are you with? My HUK is hard here: for weeks you have been considering whether you can insure such a vehicle at all. And that although I have not reported a single damage case with my A8 (or another vehicle) yet. So far they have not been able to make a decision. Also the Audi insurance itself could not submit an offer to me yet. Please do not write any links of online insurance calculators in here: I have already tried dozens(!), only a single insured a R8 Spyder at all with full coverage, and this only privately (and not with additional professional use).

    Hello, I would like to upgrade my R8 EZ 03.2008 with RNS-E (2D Navi) to the RNS-E Plus (3D Navi). It is important that the new RNS-E plus an iPhone is supported, preferably via A2DP. As I have already read, the RNS-E plus brings iPod support from BJ2010 via AMI. Is there already new RNS-E versions that support A2DP without AMI? AD2P – Play music from the iPhone via bluetooh and manage or control it with the RNS-E. Are the RNS-E generations so exchangeable? or expandable to RNS-E plus? Does the harness have to be adapted or the control unit responsible for this need to be coded? In addition, the original rear-view camera should be retrofitted afterwards….

  • Underground garages and steep driveways

    Hello to all R8 drivers here in the forum Maybe one or the other here can give me information about the everyday ability of the Audi R8. Especially I am talking about underground garages downhills / driveways. These are relatively similar in their incline in the urban area. And unfortunately quite steep.. Have a private underground garage parking space in which I would have to enter and drive out every day. Have you already had problems with your vehicles with putting on the front or rear area?     Hello together, I’ve been on the road in the MT for a long time maybe you can see at Nick, then still in the GTI Forum. I am now Ü30 and for a few months proud owner of a V10 Plus. Come from the Freiburg area …; ) I have now lowered the R8 through H&R springs. It is now about your own experience, to which, even deeper driving, how much you paid for the new measurement at Audi. ( Only measurement without installation of the springs ) fact is so, have a Date made to my dealer and delivered the car for surveying. (without estimate or similar since such surveying was nothing new for me, experience of other cars however never with the dealer ) For me the bad surprise when I got the bill sent home. I have made a lowing on almost every of my cars I had so far made and had these measurements, however never with a dealer . Mostly I paid between 80 – 120 euros depending on Vehicle… Don’t get me wrong it’s not about saving money or anything else, I had also expected with a “R8” surcharge but what I should pay really knocked me down. If that is so and that the prices are just that is ok for me too but I’m really surprised now and first of all also the post, you want to drag me here “over the table ” salopp said or is it just so?
