  • Super Plus? / Questions before buying…

Hello all, yes – I’m new here … I want to get a used “TT Roadster” soon – so I came across you some time ago! It gets serious: Now I’m not sure at the moment whether I should set myself on the 150 HP or the 180 HP. Quattro I have meanwhile already deleted from the wish list for cost reasons and in favor of the larger trunk. so stay 150 HP -> Super petrol, lower consumption, apparently lower maintenance 180 HP (Front) -> Super PLUS petrol (higher consumption and maintenance) – added value? Important questions concern me: – MUST the 180hp model “Super PLUS” be filled? (or doesn’t it have to be at all? – As with the “small” – How noticeable is the difference in maintenance/insurance? – Does one still have a “splashy” car with 150hp (I would say I drive less top speed on the highway – but would like to progress on country roads, over mountain and valley, “flott” – well – just have a bit of fun while driving…) If the TTR with 150hp should not be considered as undermotorized, but instead conveys the fun, because of which one buys it at all, he would possibly be a concession to reason… ? 150 or 180 – this is the question… …yes – you have to make such problems yourself… 😉 In advance thank you for your help!!! Greetings samson

  • Why are distance discs so expensive?

why are separate distance discs so expensive? I don’t get it, if I compare it with talking… there are for a complete set for a vehicle almost the same,eg. springs from h&r cost about 200 euro and the distance discs for all 4 wheels then also. the springs are expensive I understand, is already a certain “technique” behind it, but so disks, that is only a metal disc..maybe someone waits for me. and you can buy more expensive ones. What’s wrong with slices?

  • Engine tuning variants TT

I would like to know your opinion: For a grosser engine tuning, the following variants are known to me. Base 225 BAM hub expansion to 2l, larger turbo, LLK etc…….. until approx.340 hp -1.8t engine out 3.2VR6 pure turbo or BiTorbo on it……… until approx.600hp -full 1.8T TT sell, 3.2l buy TT and remodel as above.. What would you do ? cheers TTRS

  • Now the barrel is overflowing!

Today I brought my TT year 2002 to the friendly one. My seat squeaks! Haha some will think-not so dramatic-not by reason-shrilling nerve-free squeaking. At the springing it produces sounds like a hotel bed in a 1 star descent !!! Naughtyness and that apparently with a car, the “better situated” drive or a premium product should be! Just I picked it up at the Audimann and then finally it became clear to me that I never again have an Audi 140,48 € for seat out-grease-clean. Not that I get upset about the 140 Euros…permanent is what with the bug! The car has 40TMK down-the driver’s seat looks like 10 years( although it is cremated 2-3 times/year), warning light switch defective( 27TMKM), ignition coil defective( 24TMKM), LMM changed and so on… Sorry, but I’m playing with the serious thought of selling my TT!

  • Diameter Tuning exhaust

Hi, I drive a Seat Leon Cupra R, but since I have the same engine as you (225 HP, 1.8T) and the Seat Forum is very busy, I open my thread here. I want to have an exhaust system built, probably at www.burdinski-tuning.com. In addition to sound improvements, of course, I also want to achieve a performance increase. And in that point I’m a bit unsure. Some say: “Ab Turbo best ein Rohr” , others say that the engine is a well known I know that the Cupra R original exhaust has an outside diameter of 68 mm and a tuning exhaust of Supersprint 63.5 mm inside diameter. This exhaust in conjunction with MSD replacement pipe, has caused a loss of power at different Cupra R ́s, because one then probably has too little congestion pressure. What do you think? In which size should I have my exhaust system built or which sizes have your systems and what are your experiences?

  • Audi TT vs. BMW 328 CI

Hello, I had a little fight with a TT this morning and ask myself the question with which model I had to do it. It was a blue TT with double pipe exhaust, lower etc. from Gelsenkirchen. I would say that my 328CI E46 with 193 HP had easy advantages. Up to 100Km/h (in the city, oh grays) approaching immediately, until 130 I got closer. I’m sure that I would have driven it on the track, so speed at the end open, away. So, how is your opinion, what kind of a model would have been? I could it have been ?

  • Audi Cabrio/Coupe

what do you mean ? so I find the TT can’t hold with the old coupes and carbrios on 80s basis at all. the tt is no real audio of my opinion rather a design car like the A2. But to all Coupe fans, from 2006 there should be an Audi Coupe again, and w***** someday also a convertible again. So I personally find the Audi Cabrio, vel hornier than the TT roadster.

  • Short introduction on my part!

Hello together! Just wanted to introduce me at this point! I am 23 years old, come from Bavaria near Munich and from next week Wednesday proud owner of a TT Coupè 1.8T quattro 165kw S-Line in Avussilber! So far I have collected my experiences rather in the Italo area! In the appendix my still hot beloved Punto, which is for sale at the moment! Hope to have said everything important, if not, simply ask! Oh yes, I would have a question right away: How can I attach a file? This doesn’t really work for me! My Bella

  • Draw wheel box

Hi people am new here and have had a TT-R for a week, 110 kw (import from Germany) come from Austria-Vienna and would have asked a very important question: my tyres / rims (Artec Dynamic MK A 9,5×18) 255/35/18 are at the rear about 2 cm above the wheel box. the tyres were already at the top of the wheel box and I like it very much, which is why I don’t like to give them here. only the tyres in Austria must not be above the wheel box at the individual approval. one of you has his kotflü how do all the others do this here? hope it answers me at least one*gg* thank you in advance luke

  • Disillusionment after inspection.

Hello guys, on Wednesday my car had to be inspected by the friendly one. When picking up the vehicle, the master then confronted me with the fact that my track rod bearings on the steering gear have knocked out. And that even though my car has only 59000 km. Cost approx. 512.- Teuro. However, he also said I should make a client request to Audi. I have now done as well. I’m curious what they mean. What do you think are the chances? and someone knows if actually the steering gear is If the TT wasn’t such a nice car, I wouldn’t drive an Audi in my life anymore. Thanks for all the answers.
