I’m on the road in another big forum, there’s a topic at the moment that deals with AUDI in general. The topic has meanwhile become so stuck on the TT, and there almost everyone has the same opinion: TT is a women’s car, or, whether the TT is a women’s or men’s car, I don’t know. What do you say about it?

1 BURNOUT too much / GT1 clutch murdered
1 BURNOUT too much / GT1 clutch killed !! hy to everyone !! wanted to make clear my GT1 for the race at the end of the week in Brno and turned his power up to the limit !! at the closing start to the test on the mountain track the clutch reached completely normal until the third course. the dunlop racing dug itself into the asphalt. but unfortunately from the third at about 4800 he went in a centelsecond empty into the speed limiter !! Smell lighter smoke and that was it. to the info: es was a sax racing with organic running pad up to 480 NM which I installed for testing. guess the test went negative !! unfortunately also the alu windscreen with burnt off and has thick heat cracks. the sooo great sax racing pressure plate has holes and burned cracks through and through!! of the disk is nothing left anymore !! now I build myself a more slices carbon or synth coupling with three disks, if I have them already outside. if I succeed then I will si e as a racing kit to pass on to all. on the occasion I immediately chewed the engine and gearbox and am fully happy !! motor dry everything dense and no cover to recognize so my tip takes the axles synther and not the one with organic covering ! the synter I have driven many times and that is relatively easy to drive. photo one the printing plate

Vibrations in the TT
Help! I have been having vibrations in the car for about 1 month now. These are noticeable at approx. 3000U/min, at 3500U/min these stop and come back from approx. 5000U/min. From the feeling it is as if something is vibrating or “drumbling”. The stupid is only that these vibrations are more to be heard in the interior as well as outside…(you feel these best when you drive yourself: it is as if the seat (popometer) and the steering wheel vibrates!) To the info: – Vibrating is NOT when you drive z B while driving only lets the car roll (without engine power / clutch kicked) – this vibration occurs even when you give gas in the stand! Have already checked with a friend (he has a free workshop) mE according to EVERYTHING: exhaust alignment, heat plates on the exhaust, engine storage etc. The familiar asked me now if the 225 engine has “engine compensation shafts”?! He said that in case of a defect on these waves such vibrations can arise. Any other idea where the vibrating could come from?

Chips and Follows 180 TTC
Please don’t throw bad letters, even if it has been treated 100,000 times… I would like the egg-legging woolen milk sow in the form of a chip for my TTC 180 front year 10/02 35 TKM: – approx.20 hp more power – no increased risk for my TT – no or hardly rising fuel consumption I would rather be among the “soft” drivers, am not a BAB-permanent gas driver and heater but I would like to have a bit more steam under the hood. … wouldn’t have the other day d en 165 KW-TT should drive… Would be nice if there were some “senseful” comments on my “doubtful” question… 😉 Tulura

Finally AST thread suspension!!!
Servus! So, after a long wait and some considerations, I finally got my TT equipped with Wimmer-AST chassis today. Yesterday at the Wimmer on the yard and picked up today at 1700! I’m thrilled! The difference to the previously installed Eibach springs is simply the hammer and the car is incredibly quiet! Thanks to hardening adjustment to VA and HA there are no poltergeäuche anymore to hear even in bad ways. He now dampens for longer, I can’t describe it at all. I just drove through the area for a short time today and didn’t try everything yet or change it! On Tuesday there’s TÜV and I hope that the entry kilometers are together until then, then he’ll be screwed down a bit! So, had to get rid of it now. Greetings.

BBK exhaust system for TT 3.2 V&
Hello!! I have heard a lot about the BBK exhaust system from the R32 Forum and from this forum. Since the company BBK is very close to me and I could really imagine to have such a system made up and of course to be built up.I could not yet make a picture or better said no sound (sound) of this exhaust system on a TT 3,2. Some sound fieles with this system on a R32 I have, and am also totally enthusiastic about these so Now my question is peculiar, has someone already had such an analge installed on his TT 3,2, and if so, how is the sound comparable to the sound of the R32??I hope I am helped and you tell me about your experiences. Thank you Mathias

first impression of my TT (driving after a week)
Hello, I picked up my tt just a week ago and was still very satisfied because the performance seemed to me even more than enough before but right now I have the feeling that my old gti was walking around the bottom just like that and even better when switching down into the 2nd course. or does it just not feel as fast as it actually is in the tt? I once looked and the turbo only plays up to 5000upm with my old 1.8T with 150ps in the gti he went up to 5800upm what strengthens the d the second thing I have to complain about, but surely with the time the c column is used to, that is incredibly difficult to eliminate the dead angle when turning. did you develop any tricks there ? but in general I am very pleased with the cars maybe it is also due to the heat that he does not develop the full power. can that be !?! mfg Evil.

Unquiet idle 180er…
I have the problem that my idle is somehow not quite calm. Yesterday I switched LMM and candles in the hope that it might have something to do with it. Still, idle is still a bit restless. By restless I mean that the drezahl LEICHT fluctuating is so maybe around 100 turns . Sometimes a little up and a little down. Maybe someone from you also has such a problem? Or an idea what it could be?

Schubert Front – Day One
So, today I took a look at the situation with my workmate and we worked the new front in the raw state to see if everything fits. So: car up, wheels down, wheel track covers down and the front at all possible fixing points unscrewed. Everything went very smoothly. But then came the first problem. The old stuff first pushed aside
