Buy TT: 180 or 225 hp?
Hello everybody, I’m new here in the TT forum because I’m going to buy one (no roadster!). Now the question arises for me: Can you buy and drive the 180er (because they are available at mobile or car scouts like sand by the sea) or should you put on some toads and take the 225hp strong? How is that with the insurance? Is the significantly higher with the 225er? Can you buy a TT BJ 99 or 2000 or have the many more childhood diseases? What is the 180er or 225er final speed ( real, not tacho!) -> not that one is still sawn by an old Golf 3 VR6… What costs arise after the purchase per year (except insurance, tax, gasoline and tires)? That means what does a customer service cost? So, first of all a few questions and then look on… Mfg, Stefan

Too high consumption and lower throughput = LMM broken ????
Hi guys, I think it’s been a worse passage in the corridors for almost two weeks. It doesn’t speed up so fast anymore. Besides, it consumes more than usual.was usually between 11-12 liters on long motorway rides. Meanwhile, it’s almost 14 liters. What can it be???? Is the LMM broken??

Power without chip
Hello, what do you think of an increase in performance without affecting the electronics like with LLK and fan manifolds. This should come to about 300hp. Sounds good and the life of the engine is maintained or?? I think, however, that the conversion costs for the fan manifold could blow the frame. What is your opinion?

Stabilization weight frontler in the trunk
Moin. I’ve been thinking about it a lot – not yet trusted: Case room floor lining with lead plates … The frontlers are known to be a little bit light when braking, and when this happens before straight turns, always such a “same way he goes away in the back” – feeling. I can get lead “blech” from the brother-in-law (dachdecker) from the roll when I flatten so ?? 50 kg in the back there, e.g. under the trunk floor … Does that bring something? And: what do you think d avon? Stefan

SPURTREUE at 18 inches vs. 16″ ?!? !!!
Hello @ALL,… dear TT community, had a few months ago the org. 16 inch rims with org. tyres on my TT 132KW front. The track fidelity, as well as rideability and composure was really good for a sports car. Now I have the org. 18 inch V6 rims with corresponding tyres on my SchaTTz. The track loyalty is absolutely good in the dial to the 16 inch. If I want to speed up in the 2nd course, I need really much strength in the forearms to stop the car on the road. It was absolutely not like that in the 16s. How is it with you??? Or is something broken with me? Track rods? OR??? Thank you in advance,… and still a lot of PASS on TT’len.

Keep TT or buy GTI?
Hi, have been driving a TTR from the year 02, Model 03 for some time now. Consider whether I should get the GTI next year, as I tried it the other day and was completely enthusiastic about its performance potential – drive the small TT and am accordingly “lower” motorized. The GTI’s pull through was great! What do you think about it? Would you prefer the new GTI over the TT? When does the new TT generation actually arrive in the sales houses? *Greetz* Flo
