Hello! As you can see, I am new to the forum and only a week ago proud owner of a TT-R , year 2003, 54 TKm, outside black, inside brown, with 110 kW :-)) I have a few questions here and hope for valuable tips: 1) Idle speed fluctuated, if you stand e.g. in front of the traffic lights – does someone know the problem? What could be the cause? Perhaps the idle stability valve? 2) I would like to install an Alpine radio. In the car is a BOSE system with Canbus – what do I need for it? To be honest, I’m a little disappointed with the original BOSE sound đ 3) Unfortunately I’m missing the Persenning – does one have too much? What does such a part cost? Thank you in advance!!! Greeting, Audi TTR fan!

Opened outdoor season :-((
So I didn’t imagine the outdoor swimming pool season. I had a pool in my TTR :-(( Two three weeks ago I noticed that the footroom on the passenger side is damp. I didn’t think anything bad about it, nice the climate on, windows and roof open and hoped that this would dry. Yesterday it was enough for me because the carpet was still dripping wet. -> Seat removed, covering off, glove compartment untipped and carpet folded up. As a result, I LITER-w Eise Wasser could wipe up. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything that points to the cause. Are there typical places that might be leaking? Door and window it’s definitely not… Greetings Chris

my TT fan no longer like 225 kmh!
Yesterday I went to DE and had the opportunity to get my little one out. It was 30 C° and the car didn’t run more than 225 kmh! Is that normal? And every time I drove more than 200 stig the temp. to 100 C° (in the combi) ? is that normal?

Happy feast and good slide
I wish you a happy feast and a good slide. I wish you a lot of gifts, good food neatly, and a lot of fun. But remember, don’t eat too much and drink too much. The TT isn’t that big now, too.

Rear position change
Hello witheiander a few days ago I wrote here that I get the new taillights (clear glass) the topic has taken care of today when I got them … everything expanded and the new ones put in place …. mmmm… there’s something wrong .! they don’t fit …. the split measure on both sides between rear apron and rear light almost a whole cm but everything else fit ….. so the nice sender of the backlights called and that explains … old again in and back it goes with d in clear glass …. from the dream of the other taillights. Now I will look for original taillights without aperture on it etc. salutes Marc

To the MODERATORS, also other forums.
Hello moderators and forum users, a question. There is not the possibility to create a forum, e.g. under the respective product (here TT) a “under forum”, where all recurring problems (e.g. stabilizer OR crackling, crackling noise in case of road unevenness ) can be created. Here you could post SOLUTIONS/Experiences to the respective problem. For each user a faster, secure access to any solutions would be fast and always tangible and with new information up to date to In my knowledge, one could give help bundled to several other topics, which can be accessed at any time without the loss of information, since some interesting contributions are already too far behind. I do not know however how other users of this forum stand about it. Greeting

KW2 or PSS9 or…
Now the PSS9 from Bilstein made me curious. At the moment I have a Seat Leon all-wheel with a H&R thread f. the TT in it and must say a great driving behavior, but it should be a bit tighter! That’s why I prefer something individually adjustable like the KW2 or PSS9! However, I don’t have the PSS9 going too deep for my little vehicles. Who has a PSS9 installed and can tell me if e is the TT quattro going deep enough and what is good?! Or rather the KW2 or something else????

Strange Appearance Today
Hi together, today something strange happened to me: I drove the car about 50 m out of the parking garage this afternoon and left it outside for about 4 hours. When I threw it at him afterwards, he ran like on three pötten, not unround but very rough and shaky. BurnouTT then (thanks again) via CarPC and VAG-COM read out my error memory (funny car session with USB cable from one car to the other). Except an error message in the engine STG about something with “Power Source Connection” (English VAG-COM) or so similar was only a message to find that the onboard voltage was too low. Is my battery soon after about 20 months soon weed? Also a STG reset did not bring anything. Climate was also not on. Then just let the engine run, until the increased stationary gas flattened due to cold engine and see there: with continuous warming the shaking became less and less, until then it was completely gone and I warmed the car times a round During the ride there was nothing more to feel about it. For this the car wg. of the reset and the 8 °C went off like devils (scratched once in the second gear at 2,300 rpm 1 bar charging pressure) Strange is that he had this “3-Pötte-Erscheinung” quite exactly a year ago, when I wanted to go to Kaunitz to the VW/AUDI-Meeting, and then never again. Is my car a bitch or what is going on???? Let’s see how it runs tomorrow morning.

Small rear window panel TT
Have a question about the small rear window hood on the TT which you attach directly to the roof. (not the huge one of Mattig) Can you look out properly when you look into the rear mirror to the rear window? Does someone have them installed on their TT? I find you very nice, but I’m a little skeptical if I don’t fog the look backwards đ
