  • Exhaust gas system

Hi, my exhaust is gone (…finally…). now I have the qual of the choice. series on it or something else. there’s a lot of great things (remus, …..) to make the choice easier how about a few pictures and especially soundfiles!!!!!!!!!! (the search function doesn’t give much for the latter) should just not be there so much where you have to be afraid that the poli pulls you out of traffic. so with permission. thank you and gruss

  • Acceleration (1.8T 180ps & 150ps) can this be?

Hello, I had the golf iv gti with the 1.8T 150ps before my tt and he went damn well for his “alleged” 150ps since I got the tt it doesn’t come to me faster at best than even partly slower because I have to use the 3rd course to get to 100 because the gti did more pressure when you switched to the 2nd at 70 he went right forward again. and what I found now confirms my feeling actually more. the tt with 180 ps un d the gti with 150 ps are exactly the same specified at 100. tt:http://www.bb-automobiltechnik.de/…/mau_v_tt_180ps.php gti:http://www.bb-automobiltechnik.de/…/mvw_v_golf_18t_150ps.php can be that the tests actually got the same time out? mfg Evil.

  • Relationship between performance and g/s

Moinsen, how does the line behave in relation to the measured g/s of the LMM? Currently my max. 197 g/s shows, but I don’t have the feeling that I lack performance, in contrast to the far more than 205g/s according to the measurement about a year ago. How is the connection exactly? As simple as some of them do, it seems that you can’t convert to the power. Otherwise I would “miss” almost 20hp, and I don’t believe that.

  • First vehicle…

Hi you, first of all hello, I’m as you can see new here. Before what comes because of search function, I searched, but found nothing really special for it… Aa so… I’m going to be 18 years old next June and have an Audi TT Coupè in front of me. Used of course. Best would be something with as little hp as possible, so when a model with 180 hp comes here. I’ve been saving it since I can think of it to buy a great car. Can someone tell me what I should be careful about When buying this car? And how is it to drive this car as a starter? A friend of mine has it and he didn’t have any problems with it (was also his first own car). Only the view is a bit getting used to, but otherwise it is good to control and if you turn on the head are also the Ps no problem… If someone could say something about it, I am also grateful about every other tip and about all other information. Thanks already in advance. P.S. My B Is that true? Doesn’t it break the engine in the long run? Thanks and Ciao

  • Something must have gone wrong.

I just finished a conversion from the AJQ 180ps to a k04 loader. Couple of days with slipping around and today for testing with on the measuring roller………….satt 205ps and 333NM, curves like from the series production no bumps/delles inside and super mobile. Lambda/Co at fullest top………. Auspuff 63.5mm, metal cat, large LLK, 1-1.1bar charging pressure at fullest.

  • 1.8 T BiTurbo?

N ́Evening, I saw at the free AUDI-VW meeting in Osnabrück and at the All-VW meeting in Kaunitz times 1.8 T ́s, which had 2 K04 loaders installed, which were driven each by 2 cylinders. Power yield approx. 450 HP. Does someone have information too? Are these only dynoqueens or can you build something real out of it? At Ebay a complete set of two K03 loaders including fan benders and LLK was offered for the 1.8 T, but this has been locked down times a picture of 1.8 biturbo in Golf 2 from East Germany (that doesn’t look like K04, but bigger. Maybe it’s also deceiving) Greeting Markus

  • Turbochargers

BorgWarner Turbo Systems engineers worked closely with Audi in the development of the engine. BorgWarner Turbo Systems’ K03 turbocharger, which was consistently adapted to Audi’s needs, served as the basis. “The turbocharger in Audi’s new FSI engine clearly surpasses the K03 series,” explains Lee Wilson, President and General Manager of BorgWarner Turbo Systems. “We optimized the design, integrated wireless systems and used high-quality materials. In order to meet all Audi requirements, the unit sets a new standard in the development of future charging systems.Essentially, we were to equip it from K03 to K03! If the new K03 out of m 5 GTI chipped out 250 piles, he would have to fire my 1.8er even more? What do you think of it?

  • Sawing “fear attacks”?

I am 1.85m tall and have quite long legs. This should not be a model contest, but I have the problem in the TT that I have too little space between my right knee and the steering wheel. That’s why I have now removed the left aluminium strut (fear attack) of the center console so that I have enough lateral leg clearance. But now this does not look very great and I think about sawing one side of the strut (with the leather pad) and reassembly the remaining angle. This would be but a pity about the nice part and I wanted to ask if someone has the same problem or knows another solution? Of course I pulled the steering wheel to myself and in the highest position. Can you adjust the pedals somehow (e.g. like the Lotus Elise)?

  • Gasoline pressure regulator

I can only highly recommend checking the petrol pressure regulator if the spark plugs give a too thin picture of themselves and the LMM is i.o.. After 60000 the NGKs fly out. I had already changed mine at 30000 and picked up all four. Well, the 30000 candles show me a bronze brown face, the 60000 a more clearly brighter wise face, but still covered with a touch of brownish nuances.. LMM ok, what could that be? Without great d I just said out with the part, 1.8T is anything but reliable anyway (please don’t kill…is already in need of waiting if you want to have long joy with it). So new in. And look, richer passage from the lower speed, clearly more power. Maybe the error from my side was a random hit. The petrol pressure regulator error is thus perhaps a creeping error, you notice nothing. Destrotz, all the far beyond me R than 50000 on the clock, don’t be afraid to change it.

  • Yesterday test drive with ttQ

Hi, gester I had my test drive with a tt Quattro. First of all I would like to congratulate all the proud owners of a tt. To the breathtaking driving performance you really don’t have to write much and the successful curves and interior equipment of a tt`s is also known to everyone. But unfortunately I had to realize that the interior noises are many times higher than in my 5 year old a4 Avant. Ok that I was a very sporty car test drive I knew I didn’t think I could talk to my co-driver at 180 anymore. I can’t understand that I still need louder exhaust systems for this standard rich sound. Maybe I’m already too old for such a part at 36 years old! Again for all tt-drivers this is not a devaluation but only a statement. Your opinion on the noise level in tt would please me.
