When I had to brake from a little over 230 down to about 110 on the AB last time I shot the brakes. The cart was roaring at once when braking like animal, TOLL I thought immediately – hotspots or the like! I looked at it briefly, and nothing about discoloration and so on… How do I recognize whether the parts are “glazed”? Audi TT Coupé 2.0 TDI
Hello guys, short question: is there interest in the factory-side equipment of an Audi TT coupé with a 2.0 TDI unit? The background is obvious, it is sometimes a question of consumption. As a parallel example of the A3 with 2.0 TDI requires for a fast motorway ride at 230 (and in the average, in the display visible cut of 140km/h) around 7.8 liters per 100km. The “smallest” TT requires for this between 12-14 L per 100km. The factory-side release for this unit, Ste I would only be interested in the demand for such an execution. ITG plate filter installed yesterday
Hey, so, after careful consideration and recommendation of a not unknown forum member (thanks to Markus!) I decided for the ITG plate filter. It makes a good impression at first glance. Foam rubber plate with a very tough oil liquid and absolute fit accuracy. Now you can of course not expect from a change plate filter the world, but the intake noise is clearly louder and the engine is a bit more revolving (subjective impression regarding turn Fryer). All in all, I have the impression that the whole engine has become a bit louder. However, I cannot (yet) notice the louder exhaust noise as with NOS. The part costs incl. shipping and NN 62 EURO and is imported by ISA-Racing from England. Waiting time about 4 weeks, which is worth it.

HIFI installation dimensions in the TTR
I’ve been looking for the box installation dimensions in my TTR for a long time – so far unfortunately unsuccessful :- ( currently own a Helix 500Q MKII power amplifier and would like to feed it with the suitable boxes. Prerequisite: only original installation spaces should be used (except final stage of course ;-)). The question now arises which boxes fit into the doors, into the rear installation places and which sub can I screw between the seats? For the front places I don’t want me hr than 200,-€, for rear max. 100,-€ and for the sub around 150,-€. I currently prefer Canton QS2.16 (or Rainbow or Focal?) for front. Back: a coax from the same company as before 🙂 Sub: I don’t know! Hope of you can help me! Thank you very much!

I have a kind of TT motor=) would urgently need help with my existing problem. Drive an A3 1.8T quattro 180PS year of construction 2/2000 Moto letter AJQ. If there is a low level of gas in the partial load range between 2000 and 3000 rpm, the engine power breaks down regularly at a distance of 200-300. However, shortly afterwards (approx.1sec) builds up again. The problem no longer occurs from 3000 rpm. No entry in the error memory. LMM new Thermostat new SUV already exchanged with Greddy S Who can help me???? Am with my Latin lagsam at the end….

Strange climate anlathe phenomenon
Hello TT’ler, maybe one of you can help me. Have already tried the search function, but will not find quite related to my problem. I have since we have temperatures of over 30°C, a strange phenomenon with my air conditioning in my TT. And indeed after some driving distance at high outside temperatures it is so that in the vehicle suddenly such a kind of hum noise occurs and shortly afterwards the air conditioning is dropped. A few seconds later the Mag This spectacle repeats itself several times within a very short time. Understood is the whole through the fans running up and down. I noticed this behavior so far only in idle mode and in the lower partial load mode. If the temperatures in the evenings drop again to values of approx. 25°C, the described behavior no longer occurs and the air conditioning behaves absolutely normal. What could be the result of this ? Perhaps. Exp ansion valve, overpressure switch (too much refrigerant in the circuit) ? Would be very grateful for your advice.

brembo brake discs – buy or leave ?
