  • Open K&N? Or K&N with flower pot? My very horny test…

    Just measured the LMM values again and also the temperatures of the sucked air in open K&N with flower pot and without flower pot. Well, the following came out: Outside temperature: 17.5° Intake temperature K&N with flower pot: during the ride (no matter how fast) between 27 and 32 Intake temperature K&N without flower pot: exactly the same. If I stopped from a normal ride, I could stand as long as I wanted, but the temperature did not exceed 35°. The temperature of both versions did not exceed 40° for the temperatures, but this annoying noise when accelerating (load pressure control or what I know) is very dampened, while the intake noise is amplified. So: Flower pot = cool And honestly: I have never felt anything about a power loss by K&N anyway. And if the sucked air with any driving mode approx. 13 to 14 Gra d is above ambient temperature, this difference will be so blurred after loader and LLK at the latest that it makes up a fart. Especially since I don’t believe that the original Luffikasten provides much cooler air… In this sense: There is nothing for me that speaks against the open filter. At least not at 17.5 degrees outside temperature…

  • Horny! New Sound – bye bye Eisenmann

    Hi guys, since the thing with the Eisenmann exhaust system was a bit too dangerous for me, I decided now to have a system on it, which has real TÜV. I now have the exhaust system from Pogea Racing. In the stand it is a lot quieter. The driving noise is at least as loud as Eisenmann. Only the excessive rumble is gone. I have only driven 100 km with it until now. Let’s see how it develops when it is really burned in. I will then give you Greetings Love L.     My leather seats are the colour Soul. The previous owner kept it as it looks, unfortunately nothing of leather care and for the whole 5 years… The leather is quite dry, hard, has wrinkles or grooves in it (is difficult to explain) and therefore no longer smooth. I have already read here from many leather care products, but has never been mentioned, whether these means of leather center, Audi, Swissöl, LG, Petzold, etc., also help with such heavily stressed seats as mine. , which are as good as new, because they have always been cared for, is clear that the means make the seats look like new again, but in my case this is a little different. A friend of mine, who recently prepared hobby-like leather, said that he had the experience that the leather care of the respective vehicle manufacturer is always the best. I am very skeptical about this, because I think there are qualitative differences. Or can someone confirm this ? Has someone had similarly weathered seats and found a means to return their rich black, moisture and smoothness to the seats? I am aware that the seats will never look like before, but I hope for a strong improvement. I am thinking of buying a leather care set of Swizöl, the products are very expensive, but the results are supposed to be great.   • Window lifter different fast

    Hello dear community. I came across this nice forum via Google and hope you can help me. On Friday I bought an Audi TT Roadster 180 Ps of year 11/2001 with 24,000 km with a really nice equipment like Xenon, Bose, leather, seat heating, electric cover and and and and and. Because the car is not yet mounted, I sat in Friday evening about 1 hour and Saturday 2 hours. But when I took down both window lifters, I noticed that that went from passenger windows much slower about one to two seconds. What could it be, and what costs come to me? Or does this have only something to do with the fact that maybe the battery has hit a little bit, because I have heard the 3 hours quiet cd and had standlight on. I am grateful about every tip.     Have a question: How fast are your TT ́s driving? here a list Roadster – Coupe: The 225 quattro should go according to paper 237 or 243 km/h. The 180 quattro should go according to paper 220 or 226 km/h. The 180 front should go according to paper 222 or 228 km/h. The 150 front should go according to paper 214 or 220 km/h. Does anyone already have the Tiptronic? It should lie at 220 or 226 km/h. I am interested in how much the tacho differs. Has someone ever had 260 km/h on it? Would be interesting to know.     Hello people am new here and need help or advice! So, first of all to my TT. Bj 1999 ran 73,000. I brought the day before yesterday for inspection! Should be done: annual service,brems fluid service, timing belts and I thought the water pump is doing right away, the tension rollers etc. anyway. The workshop was recommended to me by acquaintances,the master has made a good impression that the timing belt must be made at 180.000km or 5 years old car what 2 a I didn’t know VW Audi workshop, I had to invest with shock!!!!!!!! Yesterday the master called me to pick up the car! The shock was big bill over 775,- Euro!!! Is that normal??? Well I thought then let you explain the bill from the master,Kamm just the usual,bla,bla,bla!!! After my question if he could show me the exchanged parts he came to stutter easily, though” said yes “but besides the timing belt and V-belt he could not present me at once anything the other parts he told me were already driven to the scrap dealer.   • Chrome-plated headlights

    Hi, I got a set of headlights on eBay, the inlays out, because I wanted to paint them in car color (phantom black pearl effect) of my new one. Now I opened a company via an acquaintance of mine, which can chrome-plated these inlays very high quality. Now my “Photoshop” talent is unfortunately not so good. Nevertheless here an attempt to simulate the chrome inlay! What do you think about it??

  • Plastic flaps on the underbody important ?

    Moin, have a few questions about my euen TToasters, 1. what the hell do I have from 0 to 100, in the issue is 7.4 but I am totally skeptical!! 2. Why do I have 2 original tailpipes, I only have the 180 horses Nuckelpinnen Edition?? 3. What can I get out of my software (performance of course)?? 4. Why does a roadster without q 300 kg less??? Is quattro so heavy or lieg ́s on the roadster?? 5. Is there someone from ́m Berlinraum?? 6. Why does he see why? TT so fucking awesome!
