Motorcyclists may already be more visible on the machines from next season thanks to legal TFL. The message reads as follows: Quotation: The regulations were paradoxical: Since October 2009 the installation of daytime running lights on motorcycles is permitted, but their operation was prohibited according to the Institute for Bicycle Safety (IfZ). Thus, the legislator was required to adapt the road traffic regulations in such a way that motorcycles with daytime running lights instead of with Ablendl The new regulation could enter into force in April 2013. (vm/mid) Source: If someone is wondering why it was legal to install the TFL, but then not to use it: German law has bitten itself here with the ECE standards. Therefore, the tested TFL is legal, but the use is not. It would be comparable with too many additional headlights on a vehicle: the headlights themselves are tested and legal, but they are dry. If the TFL is introduced in the same way as on the car, nothing lights up at the rear of the motorcycle. Especially at dusk, the taillight is often a safety feature of two-wheelers that cannot be underestimated… Greetings, Martin

Motorcycle riding with jeans and sweatshirt
Hello, have just read me a “experience report” about the fact that a Sozia flew from the motorcycle and did not wear adequate protective clothing. It was rather frightening, so that I will think again about the next summer in Jeanshosen to work and to the vocational school. I do not want to go through the described torture from the text. I was always told in the driving school what can happen. That also has me for a But the text just hits more. Just read it yourself or leave it alone.Link I’ll probably have to listen to how stupid I am to ride in Jean’s motorcycle anyway. Greetings, Pascal

What engine oil?
Good evening! Recently bought me a Honda CB1000R from 2008. Would you like to change oil and would be grateful for a few short tips. Should you just stick to the manufacturer’s specifications or is there something better? Can you do big something wrong? There are so many different oils and they are also very different in price. Thanks in advance!

Cheap entry-level motorcycle
Huhu, I would like to do my A2 driver’s license in the summer, because riding a motorcycle really attracts me. Since my parents are against it, they would not support me financially. Since I still have nothing (except car driver’s license), I would have to finance the motorcycle driver’s license, protective equipment and, of course, a motorcycle. Finally, it is also due to the total cost, whether I can do the driver’s license at all, that I can afford all 3 things mentioned at once. The Suzuki GS 500 E is supposed to be a good beginner’s machine. But unfortunately I don’t believe an ABS which would be very important to me. Do you still have suggestions from motorcycles that are beginner-friendly and don’t need more than 1000€? To me: w 17, 1.65 Be happy about answers!

Motorcycle entry with A2
Hey guys, I’m about to finish my A2 and I’m looking for a motorcycle. You can drive with the A2 max. 48 HP, so I’m wondering if I should buy something bigger and throttle, or buy a machine that’s designed for the A2. Because I’m pretty small, 1.60 m and 50 kg and I’ve heard that the big machines aren’t so much fun tending to be a 48 HP machine somehow. I’d like to have a sporty naked or an athlete, cross what do you think about the Honda CB500F/CBR500R or the » Ninja 300. The Ninja is quite light, but also has less performance. Or would you rather recommend to push me, so e.g. an ER-6? I just looked for prices for a Monster 696 and was quite surprised. I always thought Ducati would be the Ferrari among the motorcycles, but a used 696 with approx. 8k km for 6k €? e i buy something used or a demonstration model, especially if it is a 48 HP machine. If it is needed of course also for 2k or 3k there is something you could look at I wouldn’t be averse to it. I hope you have some tips for me, lg

Argh.
Hi guys! Had me with a buddy just made me the way home. They drove towards such a curve. On the edge there was a warning triangle and a car parked behind it with warning flashing light. Did drive around the curve and there stood for us a truck (also with flashing light). There was forever no car so we drove past it. Then we saw that another truck was standing on the other track. The front totally demolished. Scattered next to it an ambulance and emergency doctor, finally right in the ditch.. The emergency doctors had their hands full. Were there still a couple of other people around. The road was covered with debris. Did not think yet if we were waiting until the there are finished because the other route home is quite shitty to drive with the deep cart. Well, then turned around. The motorcyclist must have overtaken the truck on our track (in the KURVE!!) and then frontal with the approaching truck colliding. hard. Boys makes slow! That was such a racing machine. Tap Honda CBR (the new one but). Good ride! Seeyaa Marcus

KTM Duke 690 2012 or Yamaha MT-07 ?
Hi guys, I want to change from my Yamaha XT600E to a new (faster) bike in the spring. I’m super satisfied with the XT600E, but sometimes I miss the power and speed >140 km/h. I’m not a heater or anything. A naked bike should definitely become it. The dislocated, upright sitting position at my XT600 is top. Therefore, the next bike should have about 70 hp, a pleasant sitting position. After a long search, the KTM Duke 690 (2012) or the new Yamaha MT-07 would be wrong. My max. budget is 6-7 thousand. What do you think?

Gifted Harley tour into the mountains …
Servus people, a very good friend, we have given money for a proper Harleytour for the 50th birthday. Now it’s time to work out the concrete things for which I need your ideas, help & experiences. 1. The driving requirements are placed in a boat camp. *grins* 2. Where can you rent a Harley near the Alps? I have so far found in Wangen/Allgäu ne Harleystation. Do you know any other suppliers? You don’t have to borrow the machine directly from a Harley dealer. 3. Which P passports are technically easy to drive and e.g. also possible for a trike? 4. The tour itself should be driven from Friday to Sunday. 5. Do you have further ideas for me? THANK YOU for thinking!

STVA makes mistakes – who zalt? Season registration…
Hallöööle, to all lawyers and Hobbyadvocaten, the following problem: I approved my new Z1000, before of course a nice insurance and indicated in the application a seasonal approval from March-October; with the generated eVB then I went to the road traffic office, told the lady the eVB and again said that it was a season registration – stamps stamped (03-10 is also on it) and cheerfully drove home. After a few weeks then came the R The insurance contribution was significantly higher than in the application. So I called the insurance company, which explained to me that the STVA was informed that it was a GAnzjahrfahrzeug and that the STVA priority was given. So now I have to describe the STVA and the problem again and let it change everything (seasonal information is also missing on the vehicle registration). Now I ask myself: Who will compensate me for the damage? The STVA is 40 km (!) far away and I can get Is it possible for me to ask boldly whether someone will pay me the extra cost? Wasn’t my fault… Greetings
