Moin my name is Daniel, I am 25 years old and I want to start my first conversion after a long time of thinking. Since I want to learn the screwing anyway, I want to do everything myself only if we need to be welded etc. I let the professional do it. I have been a sportsman for a long time, I am an absolute newcomer around the area of the Chopper/Cruiser. I am looking for a good and above all cheap basis for a Bobber. It is important to me that I have spoke rims, not who I think it’s also easier if the year of construction is before 19889. I thought about the usual Japanese manufacturers. Above all, they should not only look good but also drive themselves reasonably. Visually, it should be classic, without snobbs, the new Triumph Bonneville Bobber is optically quite exactly the direction I want. Is just not a motorcycle what you can get ready to buy. . Which models can you recommend to me? Thanks for all suggestions

Purchase advice first bike with 40 (BMW S1000R)
Hello, I am aware that there are already many topics, on the topic of first bike and so on. Unfortunately, I didn’t find a thread for me. Briefly to my person: I am 40 years young, come from Berlin and drive sports cars with many kilometers in the city AB and LS. Currently it is an Audi S3 latest model. So far accident-free. Grad I am at the end of my A driving license. I did the hours in the driving school on an ER6-N. Jet of course, the question is open to me, which motorcycle should it become? So far I have gone to the thing so, which motorcycles I like and what do I get for my money. Often an MT 07 is suggested and one reads also a lot of good. Actually it should be a simple choice. But there are some points that then pull me to other motorcycles. There would be the aspect for a few thousand more I get a bike with all the accessories, like Ku rven ABS, Wheelie Control, better comfort etc.. These things are very important to me, but they only pay for bikes with larger PS and no huge selection of them. Therefore, my interest went towards the BMW S1000R. It has all the features that you can wish for, should not be old too hard to drive, but of course has a lot of PS. That’s more than conscious to me. D Therefore, I wonder if it’s for someone with a good overview and healthy mind, what the In addition, I would like to buy myself a motorcycle with which I have many years of fun and am not the type who buys something and then sells it again. You also put money and love in his means of transport. In the end I have to say that I would not get a bike like the ER6-N in any way, because it is not very comfortable and I also didn’t like the acceleration and the suspension. Besides, I find like already o I am very grateful for good advice and alternatives.

Would it still be worthwhile to throttle a super sportsman to 48 HP now, because of the new A2 rule
Hello, I would be interested in the following: If you are currently still driving class A2 or class A SZ80; would it then still be worthwhile to throttle a super sportsman from open 120 hp to 48 hp? Because on 8 July a meeting will finally take place in the Federal Council. Just on the subject a little explanation: Quote: The EU driving licence new regulation of 2013 provides that holders of the driving licence A2 can drive motorcycles up to 35 kw (48 hp) – but with the egg limited to the fact that these motorcycles have openly no more than twice this power, i.e. a maximum of 70 kW (96 hp). Germany deliberately failed to implement this addition in 2013 and therefore now has to submit itself to a “infringement procedure” before the European Court of Justice. Germany is currently preparing an EU-compliant re-regulation of the A2 to avoid a conviction. On 8 July it is to be decided in the Federal Council. Source: Motorradonline.de It could then be, since ss if you now want to buy a super sportsman with an open power around 120 hp, this throttles to 48 hp, can not drive from 8 July anymore? Thank you for the numerous answers… LG Manubician

Find a helmet camera
Hello guys, I am looking for a nice helmet camera with which I can film my experiences during the ride. It should have a good film quality and sometimes also photos should be shot with it. Maybe it is also attached to the handlebar, but I prefer the helmet. It should be stable, because logically even higher speeds are reached. I have already selected a few. Would also like to take one of these, but I did not commit myself. Ic h would go here after the P/L ratio, however I could only find a test report on the Drift HD, where it did very well and was recommended without restrictions. Here my favorites: Drift HD, Favortit – 235€http://www.amazon.de/…/ref=asc_df_B005H2RDK67727367?… GoPro HD Hero 960 – 220€ (180€)http://www.louis.de/…/index.php?… GoPro HD Hero Naked – 310€ (240€), Amazon 200€http://www.louis.de/…/index.php?… GoPro HD Helmet Hero – 240€http://www.amazon.de /…/ref=asc_df_B0045YIOO67723493?… Midland XTC-300 – 300€ (250€), Amazon 260€http://www.louis.de/…/index.php?… Contour GPS 1080p – 400€ (300€), Amazon 250€http://www.louis.de/…/index.php?… GoPro HD Hero2 Motorsports – 275€http://www.amazon.de/…/ref=nosim?m=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF If you already have experience with some cameras, you can post them here. I would be very happy to have a consultation. Personally I tend to the Drift HD because it is very slim. Until then, Pas Cal

Purchase advice Ducati Monster o. Streetfighter
Hello since I passed my motorcycle driver’s license last week I am now getting a machine as fast as possible. I am already a Ducati Monster test bike on the weekend this was without further problems, a great experience. However, the little Monster 797 had a little bit ”BUMS” Since I dealt with the topic motorcycle has been the Ducati SF in my head for ages, for me this motorcycle is just visually the most beautiful mot orrad as far as the Nakedbikes are concerned. Does anyone have experience with a Ducati Streetfighter regarding driving behaviour and suitable for beginners ?? Furthermore, I am unsure, since the Streetfighter has no ABS this is absolutely necessary? Of course I would test the motorcycle before to make my own picture but I would be grateful about information in advance.

Motorcycle for little woman
I am about 1.60m tall and weigh about 55 kg. I had my motorcycle boots upholstered by the shoemaker and I have to say, he did a really good job. So I am now 3 cm tall 🙂 I drove in the driving school on a padded Kawasaki ER5. In between I drove also on the 2012 model of the Kawasaki ER6n. I mean a seat height of 790mm. That was also quite good from the seat height, but I think because they re I passed my motorcycle driver’s license about a week ago and am looking for models around which I like. I noticed the Yamaha xj600 s. I like it so much about the look, I don’t know exactly but do you call it half-dressed or is it still naked? Anyway, I would have liked to know if there are comparable motorcycles in this kind, which also have a relatively low seat height. Thanks already in advance With friendl greetings mrowi

How I got to the mopped
20 years ago, I was 16 at the time and lived in Berlin, I made, like all the others, the 1b bill (no more buck on bus+train). After two years, summer like winter, with my Yamaha DT (some slips on ice,and once missing from a backwards pass, incl.) behind me, I was glad to finally be on 4 wheels. Latter 16 years later(I had moved to Nordfriesland/Danish border, two children) I telephoned with my Father, who was still living in Berlin. He: “Hab een Motorrad jekooft,ne Honda Shadow” I:”Are you totally crazy? You are 65,there you ride a bike! He:”I’m 45 years ago already jekooft” I couldn’t get him off and when he always told me how much fun he and my mother had with the Honda,I was jealous.Motorcycle riding is awesome.Last year my parents had to close their business and wanted to move in Oct.. Ok,I thought, then also made a big appearance and about Next year I went with the old man a little bit. Said, parents bought a house 3 min. of me and 6 weeks before their move, father brought up the Honda already. Now I made some tours with the Shadow and was infected. I was just looking at which could be the right boob lead me (also here in MT, used the Sufu), my father called. He:”Have a new machine jekooft” I:”Hää?Why?” He:”Ne Thriumph Rocket Touring.” I:”What is that?” He:”Kiek ma in your intern etzdingda” After I Googled Rocket III I called him. I:”Are you crazy?!!!” He:”Ne,there moms can sit much better.” In Oct. then, my parents moved to us,I sold the Honda and added a Cbf 1000 to me in January. In April the old man and I wanted to make a tour to Berlin and the Rocket(now all his pride) show the spinner bridge. Last Monday at 0.35 clock, my father’s heart stopped completely unexpectedly. He became 67 years old. I am Not a good writer, but I had the feeling that I had to write these lines and through the many posts I have read here in the forum, I think that you might understand me. I am very grateful for the last 4 months that I was allowed to spend with him so intensely and think these lines are in good hands here. Thank you for your understanding and continue all the good Kai

ZRX or Cb
Hey guys, I’m planning to change to a real bike next year My FZS actually made me happy, but since the middle of the year I’ve been having some stupid problems, so I want to get rid of it and then find my luck with a new one. I often drive an XJR1300 and think that’s the category motorcycle that makes me happy! So, the ZRX1200 is on average a whole corner cheaper than the CB 1300 (this is only about used ones). Is there any significant changes at the end ? She has 122 hp throughout and can also be found with half-shell, feeled me! The CB1300 is only available since 2005 with half-shell and also with ABS, there were to the exclusively naked Vorgaenger models still any changes in the chassis etc.? I have to say, I like to drive sporty, but I don’t want by any means sone egg swing ala GSXR. Which of the two would come to meet me? Is it clear to me that such a BigBi ke does not drive overly, but especially with the CB1300 it is mentioned again and again that one does not feel the weight in driving operation. Ohso, and neither of the two machines has a main stand as standard or? A bandit does not come into question, if then the 1250, but that is outside my budget!

New helmet – should it be a folding helmet?
Hello together, I need a new helmet again. Actually, I find a folding helmet quite interesting – but I have always ridden integral helmets so far. Price is first of all incidental – during the rough browsing I came across the usual Schuberth C2 & C3 and the Shoei Multitec. At my present I have mounted a Cardo hands-free set – I think this will not fit with the C3 because of the sun blind operation. Can you tell me anything about the helmets or folding helmets in general? A ch yes – driving profile is rather toury to sporty, but may also go a little fast on the highway… Best regards Stefan

Purchase advice for beginners or re-enterers
Moin and Hi for the first time, am new here hope but that I am in the right area. And this season I finally have to get my first big mopped before me. To me: I am 20 years old and made my appearance in September 08. Since then, however, I have only sporadically driven the Enduro from the buddy. Before I had already two years my A1 and also a own machine which I sold when I was 18 again. Am also aside from the slope with a tuned 180er Ro But as I said, I’m almost in my Astra for almost two years. Now I love the KTM Super Duke, the Z1000 from Kawa or the CB1000R. So it’s supposed to go into the streetfighter area. However, I have to think about all these bikes because of the performance that is not to be despised. However, if I take more weary I’m afraid that I’ll get bored too quickly. I hope you can help me with your experience.
