  • Find the right motorcycle?

Sers bei_nand, I’m looking for a suitable motorcycle for myself I just can’t decide! Hope to get on with your experiences! At 16 I had an Aprilia RS 125 and a Cagiva Mito 125 Seven Speed both were always open. I drove the Mito until the 20th birthday after that both sold. And after the car driver’s license I didn’t deal so much with motorcycles anymore. Unfortunately. But I always had a lot of fun riding the motorcycle. At 25 I only had the So what I’ve already driven you see above and I’ve already driven a Kawasaki KMX 125. I really liked all of them. I’ve been looking for a few motorcycles out there but I can’t decide. There would be: Kawa ZX6R/9R or Susi GSXR 600/750 or Honda CBR 600F/900RR or Kawa KLX650 SM ! What I would like to see from Kawa, Susi or Honda would be a naked bike or a bike. immediately a “Duc Monster”! Hope you can help me further. I am grateful for all the answers! Greetings

  • Questions for a driver’s license newbie

Hello BT I make imo the off – slip and have already had the first driving hours. While I have always managed to get along well with the switching on the 125er, now I have to switch up problems with the big machine (BMW GS 650). v.a from the 2nd to the 3rd I am never sure whether I am already “drin” or not…. follows from that that that I very hesitantly in place to be still in the 2nd out of fear, and then hardly come from the spot. The problem lies at the height of the footrest, which is a little too high in the Verh I’m really stunned, because driving in itself brings a lot of fun, but I’m really spoiled by such “fear moments”. Do you have any tips on how to avoid it or do you do better? I’d try it tomorrow. MFG

  • With the motorcycle to work

Hello you; have a question for you. From 2.4. I have a new job. I would really like to go to work with my bike, at least in good weather. Makes a lot more fun than bus and S-Bahn…. However, it’s only 12.4km…. Of course, if I drive 5x such a route during the week, I don’t want to hurt my mopped now… From time to time I may be able to make another round after work, when I have an early shift, but certainly not every time… Ka Is that what you want her to do, or should you let her do it?

  • Touring sportsmen

Moin moin! Sorry, but I have to ask for your wisdom again… Just to tune in: Prehistory I noticed quickly (relatively) that the BMW R850R is nothing for me. a) up to 120km/h ok, up to 150km/h naja and over very annoying. b) at once my wife wants to ride with me (!?! wtf) and for that MIR are the 71PS too little. Anyway, I could sell her back with profit again. But mainly it is about my work path. approx. 60km per distance. approx. 50km BAB and 10km city. Definitively w I will test the BMW R1100 and K1200/1100. Since I know only poorly in the big world of motorcycles I wanted to ask you about alternatives that fit to my profile. -Right a lot of BAB -from time to time -kardan and ABS (no need) -about 3000€ (originally I wanted to spend 1000€… ) Thank you!

  • Old thread……….

I know but I don’t want to or intend to change to a scooter much more after my serious motorcycle accident. I can’t really say anything about it except on a test ride with the Aprillia 850. The riding feeling is completely different,I want to start from a 125. The conversion will be great to my former 1200, I know myself. But since I want to be faithful to the two-wheeler and prefer a scooter from purely practical things, it goes without saying.I don’t need the speed me hr, which I had on the motorcycle. I have the brands in front of me with the scooter: Suzuki Burgman,Kymco,Yamaha,Piagio Someone of you has changed to a scooter before ? Ps.I don’t need a 850cc scooter…………What would you recommend,I have no car by the way, until now everything with a motorcycle done…. Thank you

  • Visor cleaning on the go

Short and crisp: how do you clean your helmet visions on the way? We want to go on a longer tour in April, but away from the usual mopped meeting points and thus also the usual “helmet washing systems” (water + kitchen roll). Is the investment in visor cleaning cloths worth it or are the effectively only more expensive damaged spectacle cleaning cloths (of which we would have plenty)?

as always, all come over a skirmished bad motorcyclist

  • How much does a faller reduce the value of a motorcycle?

If you’re just at home on the weekend, the partner isn’t driving, there’s just too little time there. So I’m going to try to hand her over in good hands. She’s technically perfectly fine, still in the guarantee and has only a few kilometers down. But she fell down in the parking garage, sort of standing. Of course, it pissed me off, but since it’s only in the exact view, I didn’t think it was that bad. Maybe I’m wrong, because just one interested person canceled the viewing date. Is that really sooo bad? Can you give me an assessment of the impact of this on the price? She was then for the first inspection and is 100% ok except for a scratch in the footrest and a MiniKratter in the hand guard. ciao woodstock

  • Motorbike Camp as “Fear Bunny”

Greetings! Many years ago I canceled a motorcycle driver’s license, when at the beginning of the 30s, because I had the feeling that I was not up to it (so far only marginal bicycle experiences in terms of two-wheeled). At that time everything ran well up to the 4th or 5th hour about, then came the full brake exercise. I dared not so well, so braked at first too timid, and finally it ended with a fall – the driving instructor was then also still unheededed and angry-nerved And so I announced with the intention to practice with a scooter (which I did later). Ok, I also felt pathetic and ashamed, I saw how the significantly younger students had no problems here. Now I want to try again, if necessary, this time, should I start again, also with iron perseverance-wills – but if, then in one of these 5-7 days camps / intensive courses. I think also a “burned” child like me (in the meantime almost 40 years old) ahre alt) has quite good chances to put down inhibitions before the full braking, but what if you are not fit enough for the (still on site) exam after the 7 days? So how does it go on when the week is around? Register again for expensive money in a regular driving school? Or can you “retrace” and sign up for another camp for small money again? Sure, there is no “guarantee” that you can make it, but the advertising on the homepages d he camp provider always sounds very optimistic (“has everyone managed so far” etc.). Is that so that “actually” everyone should actually exist / can exist? Thanks for tips or experiences in the matter! Greetings and cheers
