Hello, I decided to make an “A” note at the age of 39 and if everything goes well I put it in my pocket on October 9. Now to my question. Originally I wanted to make the appearance to be able to drive a bigger scooter like 50ccm, but I quickly noticed in the driving school that motorcycles are more fun like scooters. I am 190cm tall and have long legs. In the FS I drive a Kawasaki ER6, I find the machine very nice, but I don’t know if they are I would be a little small (well, I don’t have a comparison). Since I want to buy a motorcycle at short notice, but I don’t know the market or this is very confusing for me, I wanted to ask for tips which machines I should look at. I thought about a new machine (because of the driver’s license bonus) or a younger used one, my budget is 700€, maximum 1000€ if the machine is definitely worth the extra price. My driving profile would be regularly c a. 5 km to work, about 10km to the gym and weekend a little cruise around, excursions. I’m not a speed fanatic, so don’t need 150hp, don’t want a sports machine, rather an all-rounder, or something in Richting Supermoto, Enduro ect. ABS is a “must-have” for me, along with about 40-110hp, 2-4 cylinders. Maybe someone can recommend me some bikes that could fit me. Thank you, Alex

reading forms,
so I thought I could get and read the book “Motorcycle in Perfection” by Ulrich Thomson. To get it straight ahead, it is a very good book, loosely written and beautifully illustrated. It contains a lot of information about riding the bike. After reading this book, I ask myself how I like the many years of cycling in the mountains. I think it’s a good way to get to know you. A lot of things that are described in this book – e.g. driving curves, we do without thinking. Or there are among us which are superior before the turn – I have to push now right or left at the handlebars – if I want to right or left around the corner. I think who does this just flies out. I’ve always been “without thinking” motorcycle. Stop thinking a schelm of the wrong thing. I’m thinking about it. I don’t think when I drive about whether I should lie down, push or hang – that’s always situation-dependent. I don’t think about the tipping moment and the insurrection point or the insurrection surface etc. I think I will spend the rest of the time until March thinking about what I could do before or how I have done it for many years. If I think about it, it’s written in this book that the procedures when riding a motorcycle from So friends, just drive and don’t think – you know how I mean that. For an absolute motorcycle newcomer, however, this book is highly recommended. So, maybe I see it all completely wrong – how do you think about it. Gruss Kenno

Cleaning / storage / everyday maintenance?
Salute, the question may sound stupid, but there was nothing in the FAQ. To what extent and with what means does a fun bike really need care / maintenance after / before a ride. With my intended use, it could be that the pock also just after a tour only 3-4 weeks in the garage stands stupid again. Cracking after a tour is no problem, but after that? Chain oil? With something special or does ́s there WD40 and consorts? For longer e Stand times (winter) I would probably buy such mounting roller stands, so that the part net the tires is flat. Does even more attention need? Or then only the usual check-ups after service interval and just always a visual check after oil leaks and tyre condition as well as brake?

The Master and the Motorcycle
Admittedly, a somewhat misleading title and I could have written it differently. Well, but I don’t mean the master who mastered his racing machine, but the one who might be responsible for your motorcycle. As I have learned elsewhere, there are still people who put themselves on the back and thereby promote their career – congratulations from me at this point on Littlevampire. I assume that in large companies the championship titles are is still a stepping stone into an elevated position and there is and remains an integral part of the Hierachie plane. On the other hand, the master title to enter self-employment is no longer necessary. This means that in principle every journeyman (or maybe he doesn’t even have to be a journeyman?) can make himself independent with his own company. What I personally leave unevaluated for the time being. However, I would be interested in your opinion whether you also have your motorcycle in a workshop without the sign „Motorcycle Meisterbetrieb XY-E would bring, or do you stand on twin rooms with chief doctor treatment? New entrant – which racing machine?
Hello forum, I am the Frank, 28 and at that time together with the car also made the motorcycle driver’s license. But I have never driven since. Because all my friends drive, I now also need such a heater. So I don’t like any tourers or choppers, I already need a racing machine. So far I have tried on the bikes of my friends, so Fireblade and Ninja. They were quite cool, that’s what I want too! But I don’t want to limp afterwards. Budget has What do you think of them here? http://suche.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… http://suche.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… http://suche.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… Are these serious offers? Should I rather buy from the dealer, or can I fall into it just as much as with private? And again in my own business, starting from small I don’t want to buy so much, I don’t want to buy twice. I don’t think that’s anything for me, I want to buy something like that. 170 hp doesn’t sound so impressive now, when I drive under 250 hp I don’t get a chance at all, which of the 3 bikes would be the most beginner-friendly? I think to have read that the Fireblade is the most comfortable. My buddies also do bigger day tours on sunny weekends, so up to a maximum of 150km. I would like to endure this without any pain, one of you may have such a motorcycle and can report something about it. Thank you and see you soon, your Frank!

Which 70/80ger bike for CAFERACER???
Unfortunately I was able to drive quite little in the last years so that I could fully concentrate on it. I built up a couple of motorcycles and want to do it again. Now it will probably become a Caferacer and I spent hours with the selection of the base bike. I originally wanted to build n Street Tracker from a 92ger LC4 because I have 3 standing here but this time it should be something more suitable for everyday use. I thought about 2, 3 or even four cylinders of the Ba ujahren 74 -83 i.e. CB, XS, XJ, KZ, GT ???…etc. The base should have at least 550 ccm and have no or little design-related weaknesses. The XS 650 falls out, super base but far too expensive in all. Please write me your opinions and suggestions ! Peace

The first time
Hello, I had my first motorcycle lesson today, I have to say: really awesome. I didn’t ride a scooter or 125 or somehow “black” before and still it was good. Really good. 90 minutes, slalom with pace pace, slalom with 30km/h, stop and go with parking the foot left and right, turning, emergency braking, avoiding an obstacle with brakes, dodging without brakes.. so pretty much all the exercises. Of course, starting up, went amazingly well – I have the aut oführerschein and I imagined it really harder. Especially I often strangled the car. Today, however, when the driving instructor talked to me and then I let go of the clutch in the stand. Not when starting/driving. I found it quite easy except on the step-speed slalom, the slalom is also feasible, but was significantly heavier. I would not have imagined the whole thing so strenuously, physically. I drive a Kawasaki ER-6n, schic The instructor was satisfied, praised and now we start with the special lessons directly. I hope I could therefore make some courage that still have their first hour ahead of you – it is worth it and makes you no head. Everything easier than you think.

Motorcycle bought in other city. What about warranty?
Hi together, I bought an R1 from Yamaha today. After about 1 hour the following problems occurred -The needle on the rev indicator bounces up and down all the time in idle. Sometimes it goes out. The light flickeres in idle also quite strongly. -The motorcycle has strong ignition suspension. Sometimes the part starts spitting in the middle of the ride and brakes strongly. Has happened at least 15 times. In this period the light goes out as well. When it starts again t, the needle beats up to the stop, similar to when starting. -The motorcycle shuts itself off during the ride. Maybe someone can help me there already what this can be and if it can be fixed with a little something. However, my main concern is the following: I have the bike from the dealer (not Yamaha but free) with a year warranty or warranty The problem is, they have their seat about 250 km away from me and it is really no sugar slug with To ride the bike, if you turn off the engine at 180 times quickly by all force. After that only gently rolled home. But well, what should I do, I have to look there now 3 hours, 3 hours back and then when the parts are there again 3 hours back and 2:-) back Thank you very much for your answers.

Yesterday my bike is located for the first time
Hi, gester I put my beloved monster down for the first time. It happened on the property of my parents when I wanted to lift my sister’s little son down. When I was lifting up it was quite easy, I had the first gear in it and the stand folded out. When he had enough of lying on the tank to scream and to play with the buttons, I wanted to lift it down, it went well, but suddenly I came out of the same way. t and the bike then hung totally to the left, I could still catch it but that I did not stand wide-legged enough, unfortunately I had to drop it, a pity!! If I had put the first gear back in, it would probably have brought enough stability not to tip. I was lucky in the bad luck! Handlebars, mirrors and the tank landed softly in the meadow, there I have to replace nothing, but the exhaust landed on the pavement and now has small scratches, which hardly bother me! What however e in small bit, the exhaust and the frame for the passenger footrests are now bent a bit inwards, there was now a lot of the weight on it. I am surprised that the exhaust pipe is not completely dented and also did nothing else, only this small bend on the said frame, driving everything has remained completely in order! So luck in the bad luck!! Get to shoot pictures and load in. Was today at the local Ducati dealer, where I also got the bike, who meant the part would cost about 80 euros, he advised me to have it exchanged, because it is only minimal. What about it, maybe I have 80 euros over, then I change it myself. Am I glad that is otherwise nothing over!! I find the monsters have a very bad stand, I have to search always bitsl until I find a good parking lot, this is really a flaw of my beloved monsters. Has the bike overturned? Was there a lot of damage? Which type of bike was it that fell over you, Enduro, S where and how did it happen? When parking, refueling…? How satisfied are you with the stability of your parked bikes? MfG

I think they’re crazy.
I think it’s hard. I just watched the news and a statement from our Minister of Transport caught my attention. What makes him boast that he is making 100 million available to the countries in order to eliminate the potholes. HAAAALLLLLOOOOOO for what do I pay the car tax and eco tax? Do you find it a groundless impudence of this ministry to push something up in the media for what since you did it? I can also remember that in the introduction of the eco-tax, that money goes into the construction of roads.
