  • Two dead at the start of the season yesterday

Hello , Yesterday I was with my knatter once again at the buddy in the district Börde. I was very happy , that at last a few bikers came back on their tracks and greeted me. I ride all year round with the team and in winter it is damn lonely. But then the bad news. At Haldensleben – Saxony / Anhalt a biker has caught a cyclist full and took with him. BEDE TOD !!! Please people start first slowly again and do not leave g the monkey hang out. Who once saw something like that, never forgets that again……. It happened just 3 km away from my buddy. So Ps: are good, if you use them meaningfully. In this sense , Knitter-free season !!! Your Ralf

  • Stefan’s driving license…

Hello 2-cyclist, my buddy, a Suzuki Bandit biker recently drove me to the driving school and signed me up. I found no category for beginners and therefore ask here, what about beginner machines? Later it should be a Yamaha with 18000 revolutions, but if I read how little performance is in the lower speed range and maybe is throttled with suction thrush, I don’t imagine that so great. How would you advise me? Wait and wait for something else. Being on the road or throbbing? Soon, by the way, there are 50Ps instead of 34, which you probably already know long ago. Please, enlighten me, slowly and slowly. Thank you Mfg stefan.

  • Driver’s license open/roasted in non-EU countries

Hello, I have a little question. I made the motorcycle driver’s license 3 years ago at 21. On the back of the driver’s license where the whole classes are divided into big and small, the asterisk or date is so far only in the upper field with the small moped, because I had to drive 2 years with 34hp. In the meantime I can drive open, but I have so far not changed the driver’s license because of lack of desire to throw out meaningless money It is clear from the date of issue that the 2 years have passed. Is to my knowledge so right and did not have any problems with controls so far. I travel to France more often, this year I should probably go to Switzerland. I worry less about France, is also EU etc., only the Swiss are sometimes a bit petty. In addition, I probably get a new driver’s license card sometime this year anyway, because I the class BE still wants to do, but will only be later in the year after the moped ride in Switzerland – so of course have twice no desire to have another new driver’s license done. What do you think, what does it look like, can I leave it like that or then there is stress with the Swiss? Greeting wack

  • Does anyone have any experience with the Leanometer?

http://www.leanometer.com/en/action.html Finding the price tempting, measured by the fact that it is a special device. Do you know that part of someone who has experience with it? I wonder how precise the measurements are.

  • Expiration date protective helmet

I still have a Nolan N98 Gr XL , but 10 years old (at least). The helmet is still impeccable, disinfected (helmet spray by Dr. Wack) but I don’t use it anymore. I would give it away now, but I don’t know if I can still do this because of my age, or if I should dispose of it better. I renewed 4 years ago for about 100 Euro visor, pinlock – inner disc and sun visor. What do you think?

  • Hein Gericke insolvent for the 4th time

Hello, if any of you don’t know yet: Hein Gericke has applied for insolvency proceedings for the 4th time. Quote: On Friday, 3 November 2017, the Düsseldorf accessory chain Hein Gericke had to declare insolvency for the 4th time. According to the helmet manufacturer LS 2 belonging to the Liao Group, the industrialist Paul Liao, who joined the company as an investor in 2014, has withdrawn from the German motorcycle accessory company after having previously had a multi-digit n million has invested in the traditional, but also almost traditionally weak company. What this means for the remaining 33 shops of the Hein Gericke chain in Germany is still unclear. It is only certain at this time that the future of the company is uncertain than ever.

  • Does anyone have a tip on how to minimize exam anxiety?

I know it’s a stupid question but I have my motorcycle exam next Monday! Unfortunately, I have the talent to record tests because I start with high blood pressure and tremors and I would like to avoid that or at least reduce that! one day before the theory exam I had a motorcycle lesson! but with the examination idea in mind, I can’t even stand still at the traffic light! I know I can! Had passed the theory also with 0 mismatches! now, a week before the practical it starts again…. :/ I can only remember my car driver’s license exam too well 13 years ago…. that I passed that is still a miracle for me because to the exam I drove like a dooger At the exam for my training at that time I stuffed myself with valerian!I think that is not conducive to leading a motorcycle Basically I am not afraid, on the contrary! ie stupid thoughts around in the head like e.g. “if I don’t pass the money, what can’t I do so well?! that’s definitely what is being tested” things like that….. please don’t laugh at me

  • 1. Motorcycle driving time – catastrophic 🙁

Hello dear forum, now I had finally my first driving lesson behind me, was already totally excited and could not wait. Now the desire completely vanished. With us it is so that the legislator prescribes 4 hours on the practice site. These driving hours take place in a group i.e. no single driving hours! Since I had no experience on a motorized two wheel, I first got the Honda CBF 250. I killed the moped 4x! in the 4 hours,in front of all the others Now I have to do the 4 hours again, and I haven’t even ridden with the throttled Honda CBF600. That’s really depressing and I have no talent for riding a motorcycle. I’m happy about tips, cheers,..etc. A little thing to me: I’m 1.63 tall and weigh around 48kg. I have problems especially with step speeds and standing still – I keep shaking. I don’t come with the whole foot on the ground either, and I’m probably noc In addition, I have total problems pressing the clutch and I have to press the clutch with all my strength, which then leads to a bent arm. The driving instructor says that the arms must be stretched. I thank you already in advance, for the tips etc. Lg.

  • To the campaign: “Motorcycle – but safe!”

The IVM (Industriverband Motorrad) has a new campaign at the start – at least for me – but surely!http://www.vivalamopped.com/motorcycle-but-safe/ If you look around on the side, you notice two things: On the one hand, it raises many concerns about people who start with the idea of riding a motorcycle. Mainly the topic of safety. That is very commendable; not only because of the knowledge transfer as a beginner just for more safety. It is also because it improves the overall image that motorcycle is not a “game with the fire” or that one is standing with one leg in the grave. But that it is a “normal” means of transport or leisure activity. On the other hand, on the side of it is to a considerable extent referred to assistance systems and other electronic helpers, that one can almost get the impression that cornering light or semi-active chassis can be a Of course, the whole thing is also a sales event that should boost sales, but I wonder if less would not have been here any more. After the painful ABS discussion is now – at least for new machines – finally checked off, one will probably soon argue about how many lives the curve light might save, and whether one is not too risky without the automatic switch… Underneath however a very good side, which I – with small reservations – to one teiger would recommend/will. What do you think?

  • DID chain loop (holniet) too tight

Hello, I wanted to sneeze my new chain today (DID 520VX). Now I have pressed the rivet lock too hard at the step before sneezing. Anyway, the link is very heavy and an X-ring ruptures out/was squeezed in. Now I wanted to get some ideas on how to get the rivet lock down again without damaging the chain.
