  • First motorcycle purchase advice

Hello, I’m looking for a bike. I am 26 and will soon take my A driver’s license and would like to give me a bit of thought about the costs that could come to me. The following criteria: – Budget: as cheap as you can get something “reasonable” in good condition, minimum open, maximum needed 4.000€ – Use for the summer trip to work (completely overland) and occasional relaxation trips in the area (live in Bavaria) – maintenance costs so my wife would also like to take with her, so also a little more space – performance relatively no matter, I am a relaxed driver and will most likely drive between 70 and 110 tacho. In this area she should be nice flexible and comfortable to ride. Vmax doesn’t matter. – To my taste optical preference would be for example a Honda Shadow 750 If I have forgotten something important so I always liked to ask questions. I really have no idea about the matter and therefore I ask here just once on the search for friendly and competent purchase recommendations and opinions. lg Haasinger

  • Still on the track this August?

Hello together, I’m about to finish my studies and probably start working hard in September. As this results in a few weeks of holiday, I would like to use the time to spend a (first) day on the race track. I live in NRW and could therefore reach everything in about 400 km radius. So Oschersleben, Hockenheim, Nürburgring, Bilsterberg, Belgium etc. Do you think it is realistic to find an offer for July or August? which providers should I look at best? At Speer Racing I have already looked at the remaining “getting started” trainings but that there is only a waiting list. How can I understand that? Are they fully booked and I am on the waiting list for the next training? So far I have only driven Supermoto on the Harz ring for two weekends. Do you think I could try it directly with the instructor training? I am grateful for any idea/tip. LG Edit: Hab e just found a suitable appointment at HPS Racing. They probably still offer an appointment on 01.08. Has anyone had experience with HPS here? http://www.hps-racing.de

  • A2 Naked or something?

Hello together, I’m soon finished with my A2. Now I’m looking for a suitable vehicle. 21 J., 185cm, 95 kg, 80%Land, 20%City. From a super sportsman some forum entries and acquaintances have already “deterred” me successfully. Sure great look, but probably very uncomfortable – which is very important to me. I’m stuck on ner Naked. Combined in my opinion everything quite well: sporty look, a little aggressive, and the seating position is relaxed. So far, only the CBF500 and mt-03 are relaxed. I’m going to try both of them, but I’d be grateful for other suggestions. CBF heavier = significantly worse handling? (cf. mt03) I think a new machine fits with me. I like the modern look (edged) + ABS is also relatively important to me and the “A2 boxes” only exist for a few years, which makes the used only 1000€ cheaper, where you don’t know how to deal with them. I also think that a throttled person doesn’t make any sense with me, because I’m going to get a new one after 2 years anyway. The reason for this is that I can now drive as much sample as I want, I’ll just have more experience after 2 years and know what matters to me. I’m grateful for your opinions and suggestions! • Beginner motorcycle up to max. 3000 €

Hello dear community, I am 21 years old, I now have three years my class A and five years my class A1 driver’s license. Can therefore move everything undisturbed. Due to the very expensive insurance of bikes with more than 100 hp, I would like to recommend up to 98 hp respectively which where throttles are possible and useful. Moreover, the machine should be robust, in the sense of “little standing in the workshop”. What can you recommend to me? I had the Bandit, Fazer, Hornet, and CBR-F in mind. Do you get something decent? Then another question about the insurance. Have you been driving a 125 ccm3 scooter that has been approved for me since I was 16 years old, am accordingly on SF5. Can I transfer the freedom of damage class to a “real” motorcycle? I hope you can help me!

  • Note speed!!!

To all with a moppedd (no matter what type, size and performance) under’m Po! Please pay more attention to your speed again!!! We do very often jiggle checks with the laser gun. Especially in places like schools, kindergartens and similar places we have the obligation to do traffic-reducing measures. Unfortunately, the bikers fall into the picture especially negatively. At a place like the Menzinger road out or so I would not wave out any biker if he did not. t exaggerates, but especially in places where children, old people or just a lot of people are, we motorcyclists have the task of exemplary driving, because almost everyone looks after a bike!!! I am not an angel on the bike either, but only where I don’t endanger anyone!!! But the ignorant idiots I would like to hit with the right of thumb from the bike, if they drive so unscrupulously! Turn around and think about it before you write something here. I don’t write it without Reason. So again more consideration for our weaker road users please. Yes also pedestrians are road users!!! Greetings –Frank– (service in green)

  • Helmet camera as tachograph

At the police department Heilbronn one is pleased about the youtube-Fimmel, to upload as spectacular as possible films of its own stupidity. With rich 180 things a twenty-year-old was traveling the day before yesterday in the city area of Bad Friedrichshall (Krs HN), 80 stood still on the clock, when he was banged by an iron fence and then delivered to the emergency surgery. The cause investigation was quite easy: one had to play the film shot by the helmet camera In addition, the press release mentions that the 20-year-old couldn’t get a driver’s license because he didn’t have a driver’s license. layer: Do not drive clean or film it

  • registered motorcycle without signs purchased

Hello forum community, I have a rather urgent problem… last week I bought a motorcycle from the dealer of my trust, which in turn has allegedly already been registered by the previous owner. Dealer has then done inspection and TÜV and yesterday I wanted to allow the machine – although I was surprised by the nice lady on the registration because the machine is still registered to the previous owner. The dealer handed me all the papers and d correct – on the note is NOT a corresponding note… The dealer does not have signs, because the machine is supposed to have been deregistered… The previous owner is not findable… It is allowed on the previous owner with season registration marks and both tax and insurance are paid… What do I do???? Other moped I don’t want to find long enough wanted part in an affordable frame…

  • Motorcycle purchase

Hi all, I will have my license in about 2 months and am looking for a motorcycle. I’m already 21 years old and will be able to drive a motorcycle with 48 ps. I would have a few important questions for me and it would be very nice if someone answered them. Is it more meaningful for the 2 years to buy a motorcycle that has exactly 48 ps, or rather a throttled one? I will surely buy a big machine after the 2 years and thus sell my “old one”. I’m already driving 3 years of car and can you classify motorcycles like cars in terms of quality into different categories? I’m talking about mercedes, audio … upscale — fiat, kia … What do you think of the: Honda CBR 500 R Honda CB 500 F Suzuki sv 650 What kind of motorcycles can you recommend to me? many thanks in advance

  • affordable everyday fun bike ideas?

Hi, maybe someone like me also needs advice and your experience as a biker. I’m 23 and have been driving since I’m 16 motorcycle I currently have a Harley dyna wide glide from 2013 and an old Gpz 750 ut but not ready to drive. Had another yamaha xtz660 tenere from 2012 however, which was too high for me only 1.75 cm 🙂 What I’m looking for… I don’t think I’m alone 😉 an everyday bike with little bitches not a big bast elbude. I want to be able to move it sporty as well as pleasant comfort + sozius on occasional tours I think above all about the wind protection. Curve robbers as well as occasional stunts as wheelys should also be in it. I don’t want it coming over here wrong now I love my Harley but that’s exactly why you are also cared for and I need something for the fun factor and where it’s not that bad with three crumbs dirt 😉 at the cost I thought a n so 3000-5000 euro for this should be possible already. -Age relatively no matter already with electronic injection. -as said enough power to have fun too what do you think you need? my consideration at least 2-4 cylinders between 80-150 ps -favourized would be just great machines as a brand “Bmw”, but I also looked at ne Yamaha Fz1 would certainly have had enough performance. just throw your ideas and also experiences in “a pot” hope on e ine exciting discussion and maybe you can really help me with this difficult decision 🙂

  • retro-reflector (reflector) alternative?

hello! I have always been driving around without a reflector, but I want to build up a 3 points for such a lappalie would be rather senseless. at my heck is actually no place for it, for two (if I also mostly drive alone) grinds almost the character. therefore the question is whether there are also narrower and wider reflectors or if you can drive even 2 half, for example which ones with e-signs of nem other kfz (roller, car, …)? funny question but maybe you fall what a… gerrit
