  • Where to practise legally without a driver’s license?

Hello in the round, I have to make the driver’s license and that is class A. The question is: where can I legally drive with my machine (which I already have)? The classic would be on Sundays in a parking lot. But in fact, this is still public road traffic and therefore forbidden. The next training place is 2 driving hours away in driving costs. What can I guess? The background is: I had never sat in a driver’s seat in the driving licence class B before and It took countless driving hours until I could move the car straight ahead at all. I wanted to save it this time and rather invest it in other things. In principle, I have no previous knowledge. I ride a lot of bikes and know that the front brake is more effective than the rear and motorists do not see one in principle. In addition, I drove on fields with a small bike at a young age, but that’s all. I absolutely want to avoid that the driving lesson he spends the first 3 hours explaining where the motorcycle is at the front and back. PS: am I in the right forum/subforum?

  • What is this plug called??????

Does anyone know what these plugs are called and where you get something like that? Or does even a 2 piece of it lie around where there is still enough cable to solder them again? It’s about a cockpit harness of a 750 Virago to be quite exact. Has snapped with the mobile phone, since nothing else at hand and not quite sharp. I’m just about to reinstall my cockpit and don’t want to unwrap these plugs from the original cockpit cable tree around my new fittings and LED control to solder with it, because if it goes in pants then I have at least the original to rebuild it again. With larger OPs I like to keep a back door open.

  • Purchase advice A2 motorcycle used

I recently passed my A2 motorcycle license and now want to buy a used motorcycle. Since I am a student I have only a budget of 1,000 to max. 1.600€. I have already inquired on various portals and have the following motorcycles in the closer selection: Honda CB500, Kawasaki ER5, BMW FS 650 and Suzuki GS500. – Which of these motorcycles would you recommend to me considering my budget? – How old should the motorcycle be maximum u nd which mileage should not be exceeded? I am looking for a motorcycle that is very reliable, because it should be used a lot in everyday life. I don’t need any special extras and the design is also rather incidental. However, I would like to make sometimes longer tours over several days. Thank you!

  • Reliable super sportsman up to 3000 €

Hello, I currently have a BMW Adventure from 2014 in the garage. It’s comfortable, but it’s fun for the heart I need a second mop in order to be able to give in to the urge to turn with a sports force. It came to my mind, because of the budget, the Thunderace 1000, CBR 900 RR SC33 and possibly the ZX9R, whereby I am not sure with the latter, if something reliable fits into the budget. The model years 97-99 had already a few problems with forkflatters etc. . if I remember correctly. Did I forget a fine bike in my thoughts? Or are the 2 or 3 already the measure of things? Would I be very pleased about your suggestions. LG

  • Torque wrench – is it good?

N’Evening on all sides! Since I can do some work on my moped in the near future, I need the right tool. I bought the following torque wrench from Louis today: http://www.louis.de/_20b527c118c7906…nr_gr=10003929 There was also one to choose which was about twice as expensive, but in the description there was nothing to see why (material, setting range,…) To make it short: does the key do something or do I bring it back better again ck? In general, I’m always close to the cash register as a student, but if I break more with the tool than it does nothing. So if you can say something about it, that would be great! FRY

  • Trained as a two-wheel mechanic… yes? no?

Hello guys, I don’t really know any more… about three years ago I completed my AU training as a machining mechanic specialist. Milling technology and gained three years of professional experience.( last year I changed the department for various reasons and therefore did not work in production..) but I noticed very early that my job was not fun and a second training would probably be the best. I know that I like to handwer This year, I discovered my interest in motorcycles, (of course, I also drive myself ), which led me to the idea of looking for an apprenticeship as a two-wheel mechanic next year. now I’ve heard a lot of negative things about the job, e.g. shitty working hours little pay… read here last time an article there was what of 900 euro net and that not only as a bachelor, that would of course be very sobering, which would be a reason for me this profession definitely not to learn, because who can live from it, apart from that I as a machining mechanic really well earned, but money is not as well known everything.. to which I agree.. wanted to know if it really is true that you have to do a lot in summer and in winter as good as nothing has to do (to that I have to say if at all before my training at a big company to make, say Honda suzuki etc.. a three one company would not come into question for me, because I can imagine this if at all by tariff or even overtariff paid, then into one of the companies.. by the way, I have become 23 years last week and have slowly shot that me so slowly the time runs away. short and scarcely about answers to the topic of salary and working time I would be super grateful, gladly also al General opinions on my post.. hopefully I get a reply here at all, just post here for the first time and am absolutely no computer ass hopefully anyone can read this here xD gruss Devin! PS always drive with reserves ;D

  • PMR radios – who knows?

Hi together, I play with the thought to get myself a PMR radio, so one of these little walkie-talkies with earphones, microphone and speech button for handlebars. So that I can communicate with the comrades while driving. The parts are everywhere relatively cheap. Question is now, the things have different channels. Can I talk now only with two devices from one set? Or can I talk like with the CB radio with a device of another manufacturer If I set up the same channel on each device, I’d like to connect to a conference circuit. Would be interesting if someone had information for me, thank you ! Greetings

  • Retro/Naked Bike Beginner (48 HP)

Hello, I have already read many articles here (and also on Google etc.) and looked for a suitable bike for me. Motorcycle driver license is ready in about 2 months. I am 21, 1,79m and weigh about 82kg. Requirements would be as follows: – Retro look / Naked Bike (also gives intermediate things that I like, and later more) – up to 48 hp – at least 500ccm, like 2 cylinders – ABS (as a beginner and at all for the moped I find makes sense) – up to max 500€ (absolute pain gre nze) – mileage up to max. 40tkm (checkheft is well-kept) – relatively new (best with a guarantee) and robust, durable technology – service not too expensive (or less often if more expensive) I would go to university with the machian, otherwise just drive around as it is fun also times 100km+), therefore Sporty Tourer/Roadster (I think). Design should go towards Ducati Sport 1000 or BMW R nine T. Promises do me the Derbi Mulhacen 659, Yamaha MT03 (with me the rear). not like), Honda CB 500 F (should be really good, also here design not quite mine), Yamaha XJ6 NA, Honda CBF 600 N. I am not a professional in the field and would probably also want to drive to the Dekra during the test drive (and of course also take someone who knows better than I do). Here, however, I would like to be individually advised, participate in the experiences of others and exchange. MfG Stubbinski

  • Motorcycle with hail damage

There’s something like that – I’ve got one… apart from the probably three cars and possibly the light-wheel… One car and the light-wheel were also in the hail, but I couldn’t look for the bumps yet. Three vehicles got it here in front of the door. With my 500 Kawasaki is a new bump up in the tank, my convertible has under 10 bumps, as far as I could see, the family carriages considerably more. Here in the street all cars are affected, none remained without hail owls. So in sight in front of the door over 20 cars. The cars parked in the garages remained completely, with a neighbor the carport helped nothing: the roof has disassembled it and the car underneath still has bumps. Remember: Cheap PVC roofs are not good, our terrace roof and the carport are covered with GRP corrugated plates – they have kept. Hopefully the favorable insurance now does not cancel the overrun. (TK in almost all contracts without SB, two of the cars have VK with 500 € SB in combination with TK without SB). This makes you a bad risk if you have several damages in one fell swoop. On the other hand, we have also insured with the insurance usually seven vehicles, so I hope for a reasonable regulation. And what about you? Has your Heilig’s Blechle or the beloved Moped Hagel got? Greeting Michael

  • Helmet + pants

Moin! My textile pants by Vanucci tweaks a little above (yes)… Unfortunately, I can’t find a label with the exact name in my pants. Do the trousers and jackets of a manufacturer (Vanucci) always fit together? My Nolan xy has also come a bit into the years and very loud (wind noises). Can someone recommend me a quiet helmet? The one or other manufacturer has definitely put his focus on it or? Thank you!
