  • Slalom around road damage(holes)

Today we made a tour through the Bergische Land to the Sauerland with several mopeds. Since we did not only drive federal roads, we could see the damage from last winter. On rural roads we had to drive real slalom around the partly considerable holes. From above this would have certainly looked funny with the queue of motorcycles. Partial NOTDÜRFTIG flicted places were more worse to drive than in the original condition. I don’t know what the in there When some cars are driven over there, the little stones spread over the entire road. Is not funny in curves. Repeatedly in this forum came the topic “BLITZEN”, I do not want to take up again. But it was often mentioned there that this “EXCLUDING” of safety serves. If so much emphasis is placed on safety, in my opinion also the road coverings should be in a safe condition, especially for more vulnerable motor vehicles. dfahrer. And when flashed (or lasered) for safety reasons, this money would also be invested again in safety, e.g. in the RENEWABLE repair of the road surfaces.

  • Black rear lights

Servus! have seen a car with black tail lights (looks like black lacquered out) and I absolutely want to have that on my boob. I noticed on the edge that the ne kind of tint film is, which is even entryable, do you know where I get it?? Thank you and greetings, Frank

  • Harley Days in Hamburg – I want to get out of here !!

Moin, I just drove a little with the moped through the city (Hamburg) – and ÜÜÜÜÜ-BER-ALL are the super cool guys with their Harleys on the way. I find it so gruesome. The guys feel so cool that it hurts. And don’t think that even one of the bums greets when you meet with a R1. Then at the event itself: I wonder where most of them hide the rest of the year – probably in the garage while cleaning or on I’m glad Monday’s over. What do you think of it?? Greetings Kai

  • Bike for beginners

Hello everyone! I will be in July 18 and would like to buy a machine, if possible before I turn 18, so that I can drive for my birthday. So I wanted to ask myself slowly. Have so far car driver’s license (the 17s version), but also drive constantly with my scooter. To my further two-wheel experience I have to say that we drive every year 5 weeks to Greece. There we are always in an area of 10-15 kilometers which is somewhat secluded, where I’ve always been riding a Yamaha (I don’t know about the model anymore, but I had an enduro), which had around 40 hp. So I’ve already had general experiences, which also made me notice that I don’t really like the riding feeling of an Enduro. I was sitting on a Yamaha R1 and I used to ride a few hundred meters with her, and the feeling was much better. I would honestly like to get a sports bike for the 18th time. (R6/GSX-R 600 or something like that). Actually, I’m a reasonable person who would get a bike to “ride off” the trial period until I’m 19, but then the money would not be enough for an athlete anymore, and since I can think of a real machine that would be really painful. Since there are probably many experienced professionals who could advise me I just thought to post here. I have saved another 1000€ on autoscout24.de. I have already seen many machines in the price range, but I am not sure if they are really so perfect. lg, Alex

  • again….different engine performance in new vehicles?

I’m not quite sure if my article has appeared, therefore again the question with the different motot performances… hello, so that with the ps it is not clear to me….most motorcycles, especially the super athletes win each year new ps strengthen. currently even to the 200 ps….is really great?! with the cruisers it looks quite different, they get every year less ps, best example the vn 800, then with 57ps, now it is called vn 900 with just 50ps. el it’s probably more strenuous abgastandards or something, but then why do the other bikes all have to pay rising ps. similar to in car construction, the motor power is rising constantly, with supposedly better abgastandards….? I am happy to answer….

  • Paint pen > TOP or FLOP ??

Hey guys! Did jmd have experience with paint pens from you? So I ordered one (after I had found the color code of my bike). Unfortunately, the whole thing was not a real pen, but a brush with which to apply the paint in thin layers. Only I ask myself (after several attempts) now how to apply the paint with a brush, first thin and second so that at the end also a smooth surface is created. I wanted with the “Stift” several small S The one scratch was already quite deep and went through all the lacquer layers up to the bare plastic. Sure, there is a perfect result required too much, but I had at least hoped that the pen would make the black plastic surface appear blue again. Unfortunately that was not so. And the light scratches can still be seen, because it is not possible, as already mentioned, with a brush a smooth and immediately The second construction site was a small paint damage on the steel tank (probably rockfall). But here, too, the result was far below my expectations. The Macke is now looking at i-wie soagr even more than before… Can you possibly give me a tip on this brush dung? Is there a special trick that only incarnate selfmade painters know?? Has jmd experience with nem straighten LackSTIFT? Is that better, or is the result similar to schlec ht? P.S.: Pictures are still available tomorrow! Thank you for your time! Wish you all a good start to the season!! Greetings, Basti

  • Question on electrical engineering

Good morning people, have an abnormal question for you: Which components do you need? To explain: Would like to install a switch or poti at the front of the handlebar or panel. The power supply comes of course from the battery, now I want to have a small motor / encoder ( very light and very small ), which moves me a part. But only about 30 – 50 degrees. How do I do that? Do you have an idea? Imagine ( just an example ), I want my Socius footrests electric make adjustable. Thanks for your help MfG

  • What kind of everyday life – 125 or yet ne’ “big” ?

Hello. In the summer I make the A-guide certificate (theory already passed :P) and then want to get myself a daily moped. So at least 125cc. I prefer a 2Tacter, because I can do everything myself. I’m not about to be very fast. so a choked 125er (80km/h) would be enough for me. just no 50^^. Can someone tell me something about consumption and insurance/tax on the following models? -125er Getrosselt (80km/h) -125er Getrosselt -250er, 300er, 450er etc. lg

  • Let’s face it…

Again and again I am amazed how many “good people” are on the way here in the forum. Just as I am on the road again in the Hondaforum I discover the thread “Blitzt”! While searching through I take from the postings that almost every motorcyclist seems to be an honest racer. If you believe some people pay these voluntarily penalties to Father State or even give off your rags without fighting. Yes, they are the heroes of our road the real “men”! Only somehow I can n if you don’t have to, and the chanche has to talk out quite easily with the statement – which I don’t know who drove. Yes, yes…the real men seem to do that… they pay or even give up their license …..our heroes! I don’t do this as a pussy, I lie, don’t pay, and keep my rag and continue driving. … why – if they don’t get me to blame themselves, besides that I think with taxes on petrol, taxes on salary, mehwer tax eco tax and what God knows to pay everything enough in the state treasury) just want to hear what the public thinks about it! So let’s hear, maybe I’ll find some confessing pussy…

  • The Youth of Yesterday

After some are upset about the driving style of today’s youth, I would like to start a Fred about the (from today’s point of view) biggest own stupidity of the older road users here. So things, where it runs cold down your back today when you think about it. I give an example of a good friend of mine, because I myself am without wrong and blame : It was summer. The first summer with a real motorcycle (the few months with a Suzi GT250 don’t count so much 50 HP, 650ccm from two cylinders. 1987 still quite upscale middle class. A Suzuki GR650. Choppered tourer. Or toured Chopper. Whatever. The place borders on a large forest area. Through this walk some not closed forest paths, but which are mainly used by hikers and cycling to the next village. And it was hot. The two sat there in short pants, T-shirt in front of the moppeds and it was boring. So they swung on these same and zock The asphalt was abandoned over the approximately 5km long forest path towards the next village. It was noticed that it was surprisingly good and an impressive dust cloud was created. So the speed was increased and then there was somehow mental no more hold. With over 130km/h in short trousers and T-shirts on a softchopper racing through the forest, while the (a few) sidewalkers rushing aside minuteslan If I think about it, it’s a good thing I wasn’t there.
