Good afternoon, my dear people, as it’s about time for me to finally get off the skipping Nissan Navara cockpit on 2 wheels I need expert advice. Of course only if you like =). Short to me: 1.94 big, soon the A2 driver’s license, name Felix, 22, very strong (football player, at least 140kg, no scale ) However, not “fat”, but rather “massy”. Now the problem I see is my size/weight combined with the 48 HP machines, with noc h my budget. The budget is “normally” at 1500 euros up to 2000 max.. With effort and need I would probably get together still 3000, but first a few hobby utensils have to be made liquid. Important to me would be the following arguments: Reasonable ratio to my size (think about this most enduros fall out) Possible a little more sporty like, 2 seats would be cool, but not mandatory The good would have to be quite simple, because technically I unfortunately (still) little V I’m sorry for the many questions, I’m really just a little bit swimming because you have to pay attention to so much. I’m sorry for the many questions, but I’m really sorry for the fact that I’m going to have to take care of them. I’m sorry for the many questions I’ve got to ask you.

Purchase advice Naked Bike
Hi together, after a few years Aprilia RS 125, Suzuki RGV 250 and Yamaha RD 350 and a few detours also larger V2 and R4 machines I was out about 10 years. Now I bought new clothes again and was on the road today with the RS 125.. However, I want to ride with a few people tours and for that is not a suitable motorcycle. I would like to buy something new, with the following basic data: – Naked Bike or “half-naked” – like a V2 – as little as possible “Tei llastrucken” i know this e.g. from an older Fireblade… – Performance is not sooo relevant to me, what do you say to it? – Possibility to turn the gear shift (1st gear up, rest down) – ABS is a must! – New purchase I like on pictures: Yamaha MT-07, Suzuki SV650, Honda CB650R and Kawsaki Z650. The Suzuki would be the cheapest and the Honda the most expensive with most power. What else would you think of?

Purchase advice used motorcycle up to 5000
Hello, I’m looking for a used motorcycle up to 500€. I’ve been riding a motorcycle for 8 years – only an older Kawasaki ER5 from my father and currently my own Hyosung Gt650i. The rides are limited to “delivery rides” or day tours. I’m still a little undecided about the type of motorcycle, it can be both a naked bike or a fully dressed one. That sounds a little stupid now, but at naked bikes I find simply round shams I have not been able to identify any preferences with me so far and am therefore open to everything. With the current hyosung I unfortunately have a lot of problems (must I just chop off for myself as a training money) therefore I now place a lot of value on reliability and would also prefer a purchase from the dealer. In the course of reliability, the question for me is now mainly whether to buy a motorcycle, which was earlier rather expensive and w egen Alter / km has now fallen under the 5000 mark. Or whether you prefer to buy a used one, which is generally not so high from the price and is not yet so old or has not yet run so much. I hope you can give me some ideas and would be very grateful for it.

Purchase advice first folding helmet
Hello to the community, my concern is probably not easy to answer, but I try it anyway, and I’m happy to be helped. My question is more aimed at the people who have experience with folding helmets. The purchase of my first folding helmet is imminent. Zero previous knowledge, zero comparison possibility. I already have an idea what the new helmet needs to be able to do or should have. – Inner lining removable – Pinlock disc – Sun visor – max. 1500g – price would be great up to 350.- For health reasons I have to see that the helmet is as easy as possible. It is also clear to me that you have to try a helmet before buying it. It doesn’t have to be the very latest model either. The motorcycle is already 12 years old 😉 I know that I don’t get a whisper helmet in this price category, but I got used to riding with earplugs anyway. In terms of manufacturer I am flexible. Whether the helmet is coloured or I don’t care about a decor. Which helmets would come into question with these criteria? What do you say about it? Motorcycle: Honda VFR 1200F Thank you for the first time.

Put your pants in your boots or pull over???
Hall together, just out of interest: “Do you pull your motorcycle pants/Jeans over your motorcycle boots or put them in” I wonder if there are any pros or cons – depending on how you do it With my touring pants, unfortunately, this doesn’t work with putting in, which I personally find very sad I’m looking forward to your answers…

Buying advice Everyday/(day-)Tourable motorcycle combi (up to 1k €)
Greetings, My old textile combi is overripe for the pension so needs something new, with the mass of manufacturers and models not quite easy to keep track of. The advice in the local suspects is unfortunately also rather poor. Budget up to 1000€. Material I really don’t care as long as the quality/lifetime and protective effect fits. Protectors should at least be knee, shoulder, elbow. Color everything only not completely black, at (over)35°C not necessarily the best Wah l. Everyday life and day touring must be given, i.e.: Enough accessible bags at least for keyring, wallet, hallophone etc. Ordinary ventilation, should still be acceptable at temperatures up to/over 35°C. When temperatures are cool, simply subtract appropriate layers and is good. Weatherproof, clear compromise with ventilation, either wind/waterproof upper or (rain) clothing to pull over, in boots. Liner where you first get everything from I think nonsense is enough of the litany, hope you can give me a few tips and help me and what/with which are the everyday life and tourers among you on the way? Thanks already. LG

Rear brakes worn on one side, how do I recognize the reason as layman?
Hello everyone, I am actually for the first time with a question in the Biker Forum, because I have only had the appearance for 10 months and at the same time with a lively question. The withdrawal brake with my CBR 500F PC20 is almost completely down on the inside and since I am currently close to the cash register I would like to fix it myself. Problem > I have to recognize the cause. What is there for which and how do I find out where exactly the trigger is now? Unfortunately, I am not so technical gifted thanks and DLzG

Two-wheeled newcomer looking for the entrance
Hello dear ones, I’m currently doing the A-Lehrerschein and so slowly the question arises: What kind of two-wheeled vehicle should it become now? Before I started my driver’s license, I was always tuned to HD / Indian, especially the current Scout-series (influenced by my feeling and the desire of the „Freigeist”). However, during my driving school time and the driving lessons, the question arises, what is it still outside of my eye-catching category (Cruiser / Chop The motorcycle will become the main means of transport, next to my e-bike. I would also like to ride weekend tours more often in the future and want to ride longer day/week tours. Now the question arises, what kind of motorcycle makes sense for this (tourer)? Also there is a financial budget of 10,000-15,000€. Used is as interesting as new, whereby the used market (as with the car) is very “stressed”. To what can you tend with your experience? F for me is important that the motorcycle ABS has. Maybe you can show me a way in the forest with its dense trees. There is a common car. Thank you for your constructive opinions! Greetings

Offer of driving instructors: A2 instead of A – Ascent given
Hi there, I am currently totally unsure by my driving instructor. He came to me – for me rather out of the blue and after he wanted to go with me on the highway – and offered me instead of the direct entrance A only to make the A2. He would probably have a stomachache if I were to drive, and would really have to think about doing that with me. I feel like the biggest full-up and that although I never did anything really bad or As I was told in another topic, I had two unfortunate umpires, but even according to him half as wild and I actually thought I would make progress and become more and more secure, and then such statements come. He has of course a lot of experience and maybe even if a rider is unsure (I am still admitted) and he would probably listen to his instincts now. He just wants me to make the A2 mac he, because he has the Honda Rebel500 for this, on which I drove the other day already and according to him the viiieel would fit better to me and I would come over much safer. Admittedly, the part is already cool and drives also very pleasant. But my goal was nevertheless the A-schein. Above all what would then be? I buy after the appearance nevertheless nevertheless a big, heavy which is just throttled and with that I then drive on the road without driving instructor, which at least still an eye on His offer includes that after enough driving, so in about 2 years I can make the ascent to the A free of charge with him. Just packing again for the Theroie but that’s easy Do you find the offer in view of his doubts okay? I’m really already thinking about doing it, because it’s certainly not bad and I don’t have a disadvantage (neither financially nor in time). Thanks in advance for your answers! LG Jessi

Rubber stopper in the carburetor
With a series of Mikuni carburetors, but also on gleihins from Honda’s Bol d’or or CX 500, the holes for the idle nozzle are closed with a rubber stopper. The idle nozzle is thus supplied with fuel by a lateral bore through the main nozzle. The things mutate with the years in the fuel into chewing gum and are a recurring annoyance, currently on the Mikuni – carburetor of an 82er 650 Katana.. Can anyone explain to me meaning and purpose of this construction?
