  • How do you hold it with additional lights?

From experience with my former Honda NC 750 X and of course also my experience as a motorist, I know that a two-wheeler with three lights at the front around worlds is better recognizable and the number of “driver-over-vision motorcycle” cases drastically decreases. Therefore, my current moped should now also get fog lights or day running lights as additional lights. Of course semi-legal, because legal does not work. ;-( The daytime running lights must not light in addition to the dipped light, fog lights it should be on in addition to the dipped-beam, only you can use it only with appropriate view in fog or rain. With the Honda I was always very forgetful and still overlooked that I had the fog lamps still on from the fog from the previous year on… My question to the additional lamp drivers: Have you ever had problems in the form of parking tickets? And above all: What kind of lamps have you switched on and how do you use them? • e-tested fog lamps? Are you old? • e-tested daytime running lights? When do you turn them on? • any additional lights without e-approval? When do you turn them on? I’ve already been looking for something, but the question whether you really risk something in terms of punitives always remained open. Greeting Michael

  • Switching flash and/or gear indicator: experience, installation and problems

Hello guys, I would like to get a switching flash. This is also available in combination with a gear indicator, which is not so important to me personally. On eBay I found a switching flash without gear indicator:http://www.ebay.de/…/310179840587 Then there is a switching flash with gear indicator from GPCrono:http://www.gms-moto.eu/…/ganganzeige-gear01-a02.html Did any of you have any experience with a gear indicator, gear indicator or both? Have you made the installation yourself u And was it difficult? Were there any problems (also during installation, etc.)? Could you notice any disadvantages? Would you recommend such a product? What do you think of the products listed above (price/performance ratio)? Personally, it’s not about meaning or nonsense and necessity. I would be grateful if you would respect this and save yourself corresponding sayings. I’m curious about your reviews and answers. Calle.

  • Search Bike for beginners, 2m tall

Hello together, my first post *hui* and again a probably chewed-out topic on which nobody likes. But I ask the questions anyway, because I could not find any answers yet. So I am looking for a motorcycle, made 2000 the driver’s license, in between time again the bikes of friends or by my stepfather (DR 650 or ne 800er BMW with ABS). Now I finally find my own. Problem at the thing: I am 2.03m tall, approx. 105kg. Specifications: No super sportsman, no chopper, 3000-500€ and definitely ABS. I have already looked at a few, professional and private reasons I did not get on top of it yet, therefore in advance the request to give you an assessment or the suitability. The following are available up to now: Honda CBF 600 (dressed or naked doesn’t matter) Suzuki Bandit 650 (dressed or naked doesn’t matter) Suzuki GSR 600 Kawa Versys Kawa Er-6N FZ6. The usual so in the price range up to 30 000km and BJ from 2005. My favorite is the ER-6N, but it doesn’t seem to be a big monster and actually longer tours would be planned. That means you should be able to withstand it. How is the assessment associated with my size? Is there anything that doesn’t work at all or other suggestions? For answers I say thank you!!

  • Motorcycle for A2

Hello, I’m new here in the forum and also not quite sure if I’m right here, but I hope so. I’ll do the A2 driver’s license and would like to know what your favorites are. I don’t care if it’s an enduro, sumo or something like that. I’m having a lot of fun riding in the terrain and on the road and would test the bikes anyway. What are your suggestions? What experiences have you made with which motorcycle you can ride with A2, both negative and positive? price doesn’t matter at first. I know that there are already various threads with the topic, however, they are already a bit older and there is always something new on the market. Thanks already in advance.

  • Which Naked Bike / Enduro for 2?

Hello, I’ll make it very short, because you have enough beginner topics but I still can’t get any further. Facts My best and I 32 and 30 years old, you 1.78 me 1.87 big both rather long haxen looking for a motorcycle, in the first place it will be for me. However, we have to share this one, two years us, so it is important that both me and my girlfriend fit on it. We had actually looked out the Tiger 800 Onroad, is also theoretically for us THE motorcycle, all that gs we somehow can’t cope with the whistle of the engine, it’s somehow to Penetrant, if you run smoothly through the area ok, then impress something, but relax through a village or with 2000udm strolling, nee somehow it is then to penetrant, that makes me almost sad. Therefore I am now looking for an alternative and can’t see the forest in front of trees. Budget is 8500 maximum less would be better. ABS is a must! I like the CB1000R and the Tiger 800 really well. So rather the more aggressive the XJR from Yamaha does not have an ABS either. I also don’t like the F800R but the knee angle for the driver. The F800 GS is difficult to get for my course with good equipment but also with 880mm seat height a bit too high for my friend. And the beak is well, R120 In reality, I also like most of the time too expensive and I don’t know the ABS doesn’t seem to be the most reliable.

  • Set UVEX helmet strap/belt strap?

Hello, today I bought a Yamaha 600 Fazer from the dealer. So everything fits – we didn’t quite get the price on which I was off so I said if he could give me a helmet. I got the helmet in the attachment to it – it’s great, but now at home I’ve seen that he doesn’t have such a click connector on the strap – how do you adjust it? Or can I retrofit such a click connector? Otherwise I have to get the helmet when I pick up the days the motorcycle again z But since I did deal with it it will be difficult – such a shit**e – I get angry that I didn’t look at it…. Hope you can help me.

  • Greetings to motorcyclists

Hello, now I have been on two wheels for a good two months and really proud of what I have. No, no Hayabusa Turbo and also no Harley or anything Superextravagantspecialsdingsbumsmit jet drive. ^^ As a big scooter driver with 650 ccm under the butt I let myself be pulled by my 56 HP strong two-cylinder through the passes and do what comes closest to the basic idea of motorcycle riding: enjoy riding a motorcycle. Of course I encounter many “bikes” their riding He reaches from the fearful young beginner to the super-engineering PS, to the old, experienced biker. Everyone greets everyone and you greet them back of course. Or not? What’s behind it? Crossrider doesn’t greet Chopper? Superbikers don’t greet Crossrider? Chopper greet everyone and everyone agrees that 650 ccm can’t be a motorcycle? ^^ One explains that to me? I have to laugh every time about the idiots who see the Burgman from the front, swarming the Han d lift and pull back suddenly because they realize it’s not a motorcycle. Aha… funny. I think it’s almost because of my motorcycle. Why do I call the Burgman motorcycle? Sit on it and just drive. The explanation comes by itself. I thought it was about riding a motorcycle or am I so wrong? What is your experience with the greeting? What do you think about it? Greeting Lordi

  • Beginner machine sought, SuMo or Naked.

Moin, before I talk about the hot porridge here, I just have a short time. I’m looking for a Supermoto or Naked Bike up to a maximum of 70hp. Of course, should give something optically. I was already found at some dealers but unfortunately nothing, only models that were too expensive Again the requirements: – Super Moto or Naked Bike – up to max. 70hp – Budget: up to 2500E LG VediJones

  • OT hot ovens – cool stories

After almost 1 month here in the forum, I have had a lot of interesting and exciting things to read here as a rookie. Now it thirsts for more… In my 18 active years I have experienced so many brittle and also many beautiful situations on the bike! I am interested in exciting and funny stories, how you can only write life yourself. Who wants to give just the one or other flunk for the best. An example: Since I work as a long-distance driver throughout Europe also 4 years on de In 2008 I had a load of stainless steel from Dillenburg to Barcelona. I drove the tractor on the B51 towards Luxembourg to fill up the tanks there. At the stop “Zum Schwarzen Mann” at the B51 I made my break and with me also a larger group of bandidos. They were about 50-60 bikes. My girlfriend and I looked at the bikes and I arrived with 2 of them at the Pl Audern. Pause to the end continued. On the A64 shortly before Luxembourg was then suddenly the BAG behind me, and arranged to control me. Shortly before I noticed that my freight letter was neither stamped nor signed At a leisurely pace then the bandidos moved from behind. BAG blue light on and stop signal. The bandidos blocked at the time however already the fast track and sat next to me. In the formation then the rest went on. 8km to cross the Luxembourg border. The officials behind me raged in your T4. Thanks again guys

  • Need help! 2m tall, beginner motorcycle. Tips? Thanks!!

Hi, I’m looking for my first motorcycle right now. Because I’m 2m tall (about 100kg), I’m limited in my selection. It should be a used one, on which even big people can sit well. In addition, I have a maximum of 48 hp (new regulation). So it doesn’t have to be soo strong (if necessary just throttle). My budget is around 2000 to max 5000 euros. If it could stay in the lower range, I would much prefer it. I like the type of sporty travel enduro, that would make me head-to-head h to be in the city every day. I am currently simply beaten by the incredible number of different brands and models. That’s why I need the help of an experienced motorcycle expert who knows the scene. So my ideas Sports travel enduro motorcycle, should not be older than 10 years. I like e.g. Kawasaki, should go in this direction: (but am open with the brands)http://www.kawasaki.de/ER-6n My question: 1. Which motorcycles knows i You, which correspond to this type, are for big people and have the reputation of a robust workmanship and high longevity? 2. How much money should I realistically plan for my dream bike if I buy it on one of the relevant online pages (mobile ect) needed and want to drive it without any problems in the next years? I look forward to your suggestions and many thanks for your help! John
