Moin, I drive a tenere 700 and use the motorcycle mainly as a everyday device. So I drive also in rain or on scattered roads. Unfortunately my chain always rusts speedily. I have already tried a lot. S100, Liquid Moly, and Scottoiler. Currently I have the Scottoiler on it. It also drips well, so that I always see a few drops on the ground in the morning in the gerage. Nevertheless, the outer flaps of the chain are always a bit rusty. Is there a Wun what does not mean Kardan or belt or do I have to accept it?

Torque key
Hello together Wanted to screw a little bit on the motorcycle, but don’t trust me because I don’t have a torque key. Well… how do you do that? Do you always have such a key at hand and which one you could recommend. Best of all one with a larger range? What costs would you have to reckon with? Thanks and greetings

Motorbike licence
Hello friends, Due to the new driving licence regulation I no longer really look through, which also results from that the respective driving licence places anyway manage everything somewhat own… Now to my actual question… I wanted to acquire the driving license of the class A2 last year (at the time 22 was, meanwhile 23 became) however have not submitted corresponding application for grant yet, since with me private a few things came between, which a little much gel Now I am 23 years old and I have a birthday of just under 5 months (17.09) and then logically become 24 , where I now ask myself a corresponding question regarding the driving license regulation … Since I have acquired a ZX6R in my family, which has a few more Kw than 35 (Drossel installed on 25 kw and registered) it would be obvious to buy the driving license of class A directly, because otherwise I have to wait 2 years but now we come to the problem: I really wanted to go around with the 2wheel in this season and have a little fun, which of course does not work if I have to wait until September to take the test for A… And there my real question comes into play: Is it possible to put the A away before 24 with corresponding keys and then to be allowed to drive with the 24th birthday (until then) A2) or are there no loopholes like the B driver’s license with driving on trial etc. pp.? I thank you already many times in advance for your hopefully expert answers on the subject… Greetings Felix

B196 Driving licence
Hello together, I have a question and I have heard from an acquaintance that it would seem to be in the planning, that you can officially also drive with the B196 driving license outside of Germany. For example, is it so that I live close to France and also work in France, at the moment it is so that you can only drive with the B196 driving license only in Germany. I also asked at the driving license station sometime last year, but it was said that there I have heard from a friend that there seems to be something in planning to change that, since someone might have heard something like that or noticed that something like that would be in planning, would definitely be very good then I could go to work on two-wheelers in the summer. For me personally it’s actually pure bullshit that you can only drive with the B196 driver’s license in Germany, for me it actually doesn’t make any The difference is whether I make the driver’s license with an examiner or with the driving school teacher, the prerequisite is that you have to have at least 5 years of your driving licence class B, so you are normally already at least 5 years on the road and the traffic rules do not change, no matter if I am on the road with the car, light bike or motorcycle or so and that is also in other countries like e.g. in France there nothing changes As I said, it would be interesting if it is really in planning that you can also drive the B196 driving licence outside of Germany. Maybe someone can tell me something more specific.

Switching without domes
Hello guys! Imagine, I finally managed yesterday in the late afternoon to drag my motorcycle out of the garage again and tear down a little 300-km tour… Geil war and the weather was fantastic. After a while I remembered that in another Fred here was once talked about that it is possible to switch without domes in sequential gears. I tried that out then, too, worked out, but only if the speed at least 3.000 rpm was. At higher speeds it went net, since the gear lever could be moved net times. By force I want to try net then, at the end something is broken… Jetz ma my question: Is this normal that you can only switch without domes at low speeds or does it not work with my motorcycle? With me, at low speeds, it mostly worked when switching up and down, but also not always. I don’t know why… I have b I’m sorry, but I’m sorry, but I don’t think it would be a good idea if someone could clear me up.

Paint pen or canned paint?
Hello, would have a short question. Have with me at the mopped frame several small places, where the varnish has burst off or even smaller abrasions are present. It is a Virago XV 535. The frame is black, but I do not know if is Unilack or 2K, I don’t know about it. Now I had thought, since there are places, which you don’t see anyway, I could buy a black varnish pen and then with a fine brush or a toothpick, depending on the place then the P that I wanted to ask if you could just use normal paint from such a small mini can. They are cheaper from a price point of view and you have more content. Do you actually need to brush it over for each spot in addition to clear paint? Should you grind each spot with a 600 paper or would you rather go over it with a wire brush? Thank you

Which is the right bike for me?
Hello everyone, although I don’t have a moped (but for some time now the driver’s license and a little driving practice), but think about the purchase. We move soon, and I have to drive in more often about 25 km to Cologne. I think that it is more practical with a two-wheeler than with a car, because of traffic jams and above all parking. Now I am looking for a suitable model. My criteria are: – Comfortable, low-fatigue driving – Comfortable driving on federal road and A utobahn (max. speed 130, I guess so now) – Reliable, low-maintenance – Cheap in maintenance – Low consumption – max. purchase price approx. 4000 Euro – My height: 1.90 m – No luggage – Certain times rides in worse weather I have already thought about a scooter (350 cc upwards). But this is probably just as expensive or even more expensive with 2 cylinders and enough power, or? Thank you for hints.

Driving a motorcycle for food?
Hello everyone, I am currently a student, and since the bus connection in our village is not exactly the best, I would like to get a rideable kit. Since motorcycling has been enthusiastic about me since a little, I have now registered at the driving school for the motorcycle ticket. But now is the question, what you get now? car or motorcycle? Due to the costs I have thought about a motorcycle and have calculated everything. But before I here with a milk mä I wanted to ask a few people the idea of the matter if it all works out that way. Purchase cost: I set my budget for the purchase at 2,000€, pain limit Two five. With the cars there are only unspeakable small cars, or 20 yrs old middle class cars. Basically not wrong but a newer motorcycle we ne 250R does something more, and more fun than a 50-75hp box. Maintenance: I have the insurances VEregelungen , Ninja 250R would cost me around 100€/year (a 75hp golf 3 1000€ ) tax would cost me for the Ninja according to Internet 20€/year. Then there is still the workshop costs. How do these look at the Ninja? Are the costs exactly much cheaper than with the car? Practicality (the word is in the context, right?) : That would be the only one per car point. In case of snow or ice cream, one can of course not ride a bike. But how does it look in case of cold, If there’s no snow, are there hardliners who do that, or is that just tired of living? What do you say to that? Greetings

“Fun” for the summer – scooter, quad, supermoto?
Hello, I’m looking for a “fun” for the summer, but unfortunately completely undecided which category it should be. Maybe you stood before a similar decision or can help me with the limitation something? Before 1,5a dared the re-entry into the bicycle world with a GS500E. That fits so far, only unfortunately this is a little “unpractical”: for short missions a little too bumpy or vulnerable with the carburettor and very “clodly” due to the weight. I don’t really ride tours, but it is too small for me or the circle of friends is not available. So no “real” motorcycle is needed anymore… Now I want something “splashy” for short trips. Requirement profile in about as follows: – Distance: usually <25km ("Retard" - ready2use: Injection? - with some "Punch" ; Topspeed 80-100 km/h sufficient - suitable for body size: 1.96m - Price should stay out of the way Roller: pos: fast Ready to use; Topcase possible; günsti g neg: more carburettor?; height; (optical of large scooter modest) Quad: pos: fast Ready to use; topcase possible; height? neg: more carburettor?; SUMO conversion necessary; rel. expensive Supermoto: pos: fast Ready to use; height? neg: no storage space -> backpack; rel. expensive Just write what you think about it. I am grateful for every suggestion!
