Moin, I’m still quite new in the motorcycle industry and would like to learn about the whole technique on the bike and the right tuning. Do you have any tips on how to learn to screw around on my own bike, which I want to get and not always have to pay the workshop costs? 😛 In addition, I would be happy if someone explained to me how to paint

New helmet
Hello, I have just found nothing to do and open up a new topic and hope for your experiences. I’m just looking for a new helmet and last week I went to the shops of Louis, Hein Gericke and Polo. I noticed the following three helmets that fit quite well… HJC R-PHA 10 Plus for 300 Euro, a Shoei GT-Air Patina TC 5 for 449 Euro (actually I didn’t want to spend like 250-300 Euro anymore) and a Probiker RSX 6 Misano for 160 Euro. Like sin d your experiences with the helmets, which one can you recommend to me? I’m still a bit unreliable….my requirements are actually pinlock and a sun visor. Thank you for your help. Greeting Lars

What happens to the engine when the rear wheel is blocked?
The question may sound a bit strange, but the other day it had the discussion with a colleague and could not make us a rhyme on it, nor find anything in the net. So what happens to the engine when braking down without uncoupleing or switching the wheel (and thus the drive train) to block with the rear wheel brake? Is there a overload coupling (or does the “normal” then act as such)? Hope the question is not too stupid and I have brought it across intelligibly. Greetings!

Motorcycle Navi only with headphones? Is there something like that?
Servus, I’m looking for nem Motorradnavi, just because I have a supermoto and a big part of the handlebar would look as stupid as possible, did I think maybe there are some that you can put in the bag and listen to the instructions via headphones. So without the big screen, just one for operation or maybe an app that allows me to use the mobile phone? Just ride with someone who has a Navi on the handlebar, and the tracks that found the part were really sc hön, I would never have found it like that ^^ has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

Search Allrounder/Naked as an entry-level mopped
Hello, I just made the driving license for class A and am looking for a mopped. For me are the Nakeds respectively Allrounder. Since I am a little older (37), do not need to be throttled. Meanwhile I also drove some sample (CBF600, SV650(new model), F800R, F800GS) . I noticed for myself that I do not like 4 cylinders. I prefer to travel at low speeds. As a budget I had imagined so 4k – 5k €. Absolutely e Basic condition is ABS. This has to be present. Unfortunately, small machines already fail due to my size. I am 1.86 m and weigh about 80 kg. Do you still have suggestions or ideas, which machine I could still look at? Thanks already for answers.

Leather combs are really uncomfortable!!
Hello ! I was in a Dainese shop last Saturday and I tried a few leather combs because I wanted to get one for the new season (if possible divisible). but I noticed straight away !!SHIFT UNBEQUEM!! I could hardly put on the clothes alone, keep the pants together with the jacket! when I sat down on my stool (I felt like I was sneaking) I should go to the “sporty sitting position”. easier said than done, at the front of the belly where the hosenbund is the material has drilled into my belly that it was really unpleasant when I bent down. now my question, because I want to “actually” get one! are all leather combs so uncomfortable? should I try on the complete combis (which are not to be shared?!) or what should I do ? I also always have a back armor to buy one for myself! so was really bag tight the thing ! looked good, but really uncomfortable! the verk but the affluent said that he would fit exactly. (48)… what do you mean !? I’m going to go by next week and try again n a bit … please ask for infos textilkombis don’t come in ^^ I need leather greeting and thank you in advance Gero

Tilt sensors and sliding motors
The bride’s name is BMW F 650 Dakar, from 2001 and needs a little love, but very manageable. Chain, wheel bearing, tires, service, battery are new. I have to do fork rings and a little care. Case kit, Touratech mask, engine protection bracket and Stahflex are on, padded seat, all original parts I get. The whole thing at a price that is close to 70% of that, which otherwise calls for a comparable machine. Now I have talked to a motor connoisseur, who said that the crankshaft of F 650, unlike almost all other single-cylinders, also the closest related one in the 650 Aprilia, is slip-bearing, which in the case of a 90 degree angle with attached ground sample can go very stupid, namely with a bearing damage. However, in the intended use, namely offroad, it is always to be expected. Now I know that many newer injections, also my BMW K 1300 GT are equipped with inclination sensors, which, starting from a certain “snatching position”, i.e. when the moped is on the side, turn off the engine, i.e. ignition and spray drive. However, this does not seem to be the case with such enduros for the somewhat rougher terrain use. I bought the Dakar unattended on the phone due to pictures and a telephone call with the nice salesman and fetch it only tomorrow. Lewellyn once drove such a machine and was probably quite a Does anyone know more about that?

Enjoy autumn/winter riding a motorcycle?
Hello Motortalk-Cmcommunity, after 2 years with my Yamaha 125r it is finally time. Now I can move from the end of September also 48hp bikes. Since my father was in former years of incarnate ninja driver, we now want to put together to buy us a motorcycle. Since I trust him in the matter and he said a CBR would be more beginner-friendly and forgive more mistakes, we have chosen this (600er on 48hp). The stupid thing is my date of birth, namely at the end of September, since At this time the motorcycle season is more likely to end. But since I’ve been happy to finally be able to ride 48hp, it’s very difficult for me to wait. Last year I can remember having celebrated Christmas in short clothes. I definitely don’t want to move the CBR with ice and snow, even under 10°C. The questions to you: What are your experiences like? Are there enough days over winter that will be worth driving? chon say that last October November you had almost half the month suitable weather (at least in Rhineland-Palatinate).When do you freeze your ass? Do you have a fed tour Kombi Textil from BMW (does actually keep quite warm, but a 125er doesn’t pull wet fish from the plate)Do I have to take notice of anything else? Except tires and motor drive well warm. Should I hold on better until spring? Since I’m a beginner and newcomer, I hope no embarrassing question asked to have. Otherwise, I look forward in advance to hopefully positive feedback

Purchase advice->Naked bike / sportsman – max 70kW – 191cm
Servus, I hope I get a few suggestions from you. I’ve already got a lot of information with Google, only at some point you get a lot of information. I have to drive for about 1.5 years, but I want to buy a motorcycle with which I can have a little fun. The bike should have a maximum of 70kW(95hp) because I want to ride safely outside Germany until the “A” because I live in Munich. A problem is maybe my size of 191cm. More than 6000-700€ I don’t want to spend. ABS I would really like, but if there is an older bike, which would meet me perfectly and I like it, I would also buy it. From the look it should go towards my favorites, although I have to say e.g. that I also like a slightly more sporty Bonneville extremely well (unfortunately too expensive…). I would drive mainly city and of course on weekends country road, live well. So far my favorites: Kawasaki Z800e Honda CB 650 Honda NC 700 Yamaha MT07 (probably too small or?) Yamaha XJ6 Kawasaki ER6n (if I drove in the FS, somehow I could never really get along with the sitting position)

Search Purchase advice for 600 SSP without worries
Short version: I’m looking for purchase advice for: – 600 SSP – year of construction from 2007 (pathways of optics) – Technically non-invasive (jumps without problems. I have a real horror behind me with the last KTM) – I’m going to drive Hi together, I’m a student, 25 years old and have been riding Motrrad for 9 years now. (A total of about 70Tkm, last with the Supermoto also race track) After I sold my last motorcycle at the beginning of the year, it makes me itch again in my fingers. I thought of a 600s so about from the year 2007. As far as the models/manufacturers are concerned, I’m actually open, but it’s probably going to go for something Japanese, because this time I put a lot of value on reliability. I’m still a bit unsure about the budget. I could hurt if the moped has a few signs of wear, but I don’t want any, which already has a fall behind it. Also in the running performance I want so far on the itself I thought about something like this: GSXR 600, 22Tkm, 5300€Yamaha R6, 15Tkm, 5800€CBR PC40, 10Tkm, 550€ Does it make sense to spend more than 550€? Which models would you recommend? Up to what mileage should I look at? What should I create? PS: ABS would be very practical but then only the cbr pc 40 is in question. I don’t like it optically and is usually much more expensive than the others. Models that are eligible.
