Hello, I recently bought a used moped, which I can probably pick up next week. Since I don’t have a lock or the like yet, I’m just wondering what you can best protect the mopped with. That you can’t prevent a theft if you absolutely want to be stolen should not be an object here. There are also shared opinions about the safety. Some say that the steering wheel lock and immobilizer is enough, the rest replaces the Partial casket. Others say chaining on a lantern brings it. So I wanted to ask about your experiences. I personally found something google this lock: ABUS GRANIT 69 EXTREME Black Loop 120 cm. What do you think about it? I think it’s good that you can attach the mopped with it, but only use the brake disc lock.

The Collector’s Birthday
Usually, I’m not a big friend of such OT threads. The mods may therefore forgive me… Today, however, one of the characters of this forum’s birthday, which, due to their helpfulness, technical know-how and their even controversial views of this forum, is so vivid. Countless moppeds have been brought back to life thanks to his understanding and passion and saved from the scrap press. Thanks to his teeth cleaner and his US cleaner, some carburetors have become bright again and the “torf schnapps” industry has been dazzling ever since. Reason enough just to say thank you…. My dear friend Stefan, happy birthday! P.S. *whistle mode on* If someone is still looking for a gift for the collector: I’ve heard that he is on LED Stripes on the mopped…

Thieves on motorcycle meetings
From the AiA forum with request for transmission: “Dear motorcycle, team and camping friends, now it has caught me and 19 more tents in the last Friday night (Saturdays around 4:00 clock) on a team meeting in the area Philippsburg. It was a “invitation meeting”, which is published in no media known to me, but that did not protect against crooks. In sleep and with a lot of probability with anesthetic gas “quite” in the tents (large, small, tunnel, dog huts) This was probably not the first time in recent months: Old Elephant Meeting at the Nürburgring; Black Powder Rally and 14 days ago at a private meeting in northern Germany according to the same pattern. In order to get away better in the future, I won’t just leave my cash in the tent anymore. What precautions should be taken, everyone can make for themselves. But now the request: Send this e-mail to all your friends, forums and other media! Our goal should be to inform as many people as possible in the shortest possible time. Everyone is worthy of being warned and protected from such misdeeds! With best tricyclist greetings Peter Bouché” I wanted to pass this on here, perhaps for one or the other who is going to meet, also of interest…

Motorcycle instead of new as a demonstrator; in cold condition turn up speed
Moin people, I’m on my way to driving license A and I’m going to get a motorcycle at the end of the year. I’m basically doing absolutely great things with my things. And that’s exactly where my constant problem lies – I’m always buying new, not needed. That’s the only way I can make sure that the item is handled from the beginning as it should be. The motorcycle I’ve been looking for is a monster S (2017) from Ducati. How badly you damage the motorcycle, who If I buy the bike again, I have the certainty that the problems that will arise at some point, not due to the way of driving. If I buy a leader, I don’t have the certainty. If I exaggerate at this point or are the worries justified? I mean, you could do a good 30. But I wouldn’t like that if technical problems were to come to me earlier.

do not go to the side when you overtake…
So, now I have to break down my little frustration here, which I experience with my two-wheeled companions on the streets from time to time.I am a fast-driving biker but not a rasser, which is not the point with my naked bike. so how can it be that some bikers mean when I drive from behind you, for example, they don’t have to go to the side with their “gloriousness”,quasi when I see in the mirror there comes a faster driver behind me then I make the track at the middle Lstreifen ruck zuck frei, but there are some particularly chopper and tourer drivers who see it a little different and “block” with pure intention the medium strip on longer distance, although they have already noticed me in the mirror. When I then put on to overtake they sometimes look stupid to me or shake the head. so what makes me really stinky it has happened to me more often now in the past days……there it always means the bikers are a community greeting Greetings in another forum here, but I’ve been seeing it with other eyes for a long time. for me, bikers aren’t the same bikers……

Ice hands
Even with my lightly fed Alpinestars Tech Road, my hands freeze even in a moderate climate, so that the shifting becomes a pain and I can hardly give any soulful gas. Fairly enough, I have to say that the Alpinestars were not praised as a winter glove either. I had bought them because I wanted to have a rest of grip. Well, I hope they find a buyer on eBay. What can I do against my ice hands? In front of craft solutions à la handle heater I shyly z urück, in addition, they don’t seem to me to be really mature (sensitivity of the temperature control, protection against unwanted grip adjustment). Electrically heated gloves are expensive, and I don’t want to be wired with the motorcycle either. Do I have a chance with “normal” gloves, possibly outside of the motorcycle area? Which are windproof, warm and sensitive? I have already researched in several directions: Police/Military gloves for the winter of Hatch or Da mascus, scuba gloves (either thin (1 mm) as undercoat gloves or thick (5 mm) as solo gloves), sail gloves, balloon gloves with Chiba hotliner system (chemical heating pad), ski gloves. You see, I’m desperate. Does anyone have a secret tip?

The police – your friend and helper!
Hi, today I had a really nice experience with a (motorcycle) policeman: Because of some demo a traffic jam was created in the city center (one-way street). I passed by with my mob on the right (about 10-15 km/h). Unfortunately, at the beginning of the traffic jam there was a horde of policemen… one of them waved to me directly: “Hello! What they did there is forbidden, but they certainly know that themselves, don’t they?” I replied: “Sorry, but what should I say??” “Of course not!” Then we both wished for a good ride and everything was stress-free. I just wanted to tell you, I found mega correct… greetings chris

Salve. Was on the Intermot weekend and took a lot of pictures. Since very few pictures are available here I thought to put a few on the net. The Thousandth Beginner
Servus people, I’m sorry if I bother you now with the most common question at all, but I need advice from experienced people. First of all I’m 24 years young Bin 1.90cm tall I’m of course a beginner and I’m standing before buying my first moped. I’ve read through many forums which did not really help me so far. Also colleagues I had asked are very different from the opinions.. I’m looking for a clever naked bike I’m in the Driving school a he6n drove and that looked like a bike under me. From a colleague of me I drove the mt07 which seems under me also quite small. So I was at my dealer around the corner, which meant I should try an enduro. But they are unfortunately not my taste. Then he introduced me to a z1000 and see that looks under me not like a bike but on my question whether the z1000 is possibly not a bit too big from the motorization he negated d said that even the z1000 would be optimal for beginners. He offers me a test ride with the machine if I want to. Now my question is whether he would like to sell only or if he has taken my problem to heart with the „too small bikes” at all. I do not deny that I like the z1000 and I would also like to buy the one, nevertheless I have quite respect for the performance, since the he6n or mt07 with approx. 70-75ps already push properly. The Kawa is used and so in 2010 nothing new. The Kawa meets the important criterion and this is already ABS. Now I would like to know what you think about it because of the z1000 or if you may still have beautiful mopeds where I don’t have the problem with my size that they seem so tiny. Thanks in advance for your help. Yours sincerely,
