  • Who says hello to whom?

Hello!! I’m on the road with the driving school and of course the one or other biker came to meet me and I asked myself THE question of all questions: Who is allowed to greet whom, when and how?? Does everyone greet everyone? Or does the small machine greet the one with the big machine? Or does the athlete only greet other athletes? Or does mountain riders just greet mountain riders? Would I be interested in who you greet and who you don’t… Bavaria different from Hamburg? So I don’t greet as a driving student. Hope you forgive me, but I’m really focused on not missing the next turn, Basti

  • Search motorcycle with budget up to ~150€

Hello dear people 🙂 I have the A2 driver’s license and am therefore looking for a motorcycle for me. Unfortunately I am sad beginner in the technical topic and therefore can not really limit my search from a technical point of view (except by the legal A2 requirements). However, from an optical point of view I can say the following: – Kymco K-Pipe I like suuper from the appearance (but with about 10 HP not what I imagine) – Furthermore, the Kymco looks a bit tiny (or am I wrong? have never seen the part in real) – I totally like it when the headlight is really big and round – I am relatively “weak” and with 1.75m relatively small, so the bike should not be too high and too heavy There is a nice combination of Kymco K-Pipe – style and a nice front headlight with the budget up to around 1500€ (used is also completely ok for me) Hope that someone can call me a few brands or models here Thank you 🙂 Greetings

  • Almost cleared

Not only driving cars are a risk: can comes out of the gas station and drives me in front of the nose because I was covered by a parking car. Evasive hooks, have still been caught by the front of the exhaust (see picture), briefly slinging into the oncoming traffic, still barely got pushed back, because it came down to something. I think a new exhaust is due at cause costs, when selling again that certainly does not work out so well?

  • Find tips for my wife’s second motorcycle (cautious: long)

Heya, I have to open one of the unspeakable “I need a bike tip” threads now. Sorry in advance I know there are a lot of threads, but usually for beginners who are looking for a strong/fast machine for heating. The background is this: My wife drives a Kawasaki W800 and loves the bike hot and intimate. It is always registered for the season from March to October and is standing outside (cover, no garage). It definitely doesn’t want to replace it, because it’s just her dream bike. Accordingly, her dedication to cleaning, polishing, etc. is also strongly pronounced, when it has unexpectedly rained overnight or we had rain rides. It breaks her heart when she passes by the bike and it looks dirty/dry. She also drove the machine from time to time on the 20 km work path, but does not want that anymore – for everyday rides the W800 is too bad for her, si e she prefers to ride on the common tours. So now she is looking for an additional motorcycle, which she wants to register all year round. Primary it should drive the work path daily and possibly replace the W800, if we have to start with a view of rain or if she has to take more luggage with her. So it should be a motorcycle, which does not do too much work while cleaning or does not hurt her, if it does not shine – quasi a work animal. Therefore I thought that maybe a motorcycle with K ardan would be chic in order to also eliminate the chain care. (“gerne” = would be nice, but doesn’t have to) I just looked at mobile.de with the ideas (largest filter was about Kardan and price) and there are the following models, which could somehow still agree to it in the farthest possible way. But everything is rather the naked than the semi-clad versions. I have not yet looked at everything for the seat height or in the ergonomic simulator and it is also partly d – Is there something you would say: Yes, that is reliable and low maintenance and corresponds to the requirements? – Most of them are machines from the 80s, but there are many well maintained offers, where all possible maintenance work/repairs are listed. However, they usually have 40t to 90t km. Is this still worth considering or are there very expensive repairs for certain models, which are known to be necessary – Is the idea with Kardan possibly nonsense, because Kardan directly increases the weight and a chain to grease is not a real problem? – Do you have other suggestions and why? Thank you for reading up here 🙂

  • Airhawk, Beaded Seat, Gel Cushion and Co.

I have just read an Arikel about different seat “Stands”. It was about products like the Airhawk, pearl mats and gel cushions. Who has such a edition and what is your opinion about it. I was happy to sit a bit more comfortably on longer tours. A Corbin seat for my RF900 costs 500€ but, and although the measure should be all things, this is simply too much money, so I am interested in alternative. Have you possibly had your seat re-upholstered if yes, where we d what did it cost and not more important how it sits after processing. Greeting Jason

  • Experiences Pfandleihhaus?

Evening forum, as soon as the weather is a little bit better again, I get to the Moped-Leaderschein. I’m pretty excited about it, and as it is in the rush of anticipation, I’m already keeping my eyes open for a suitable krad. I stumbled over a Yamaha XVS 650, which I like. The device is in a car garage. The obvious question: does someone have experience with the purchase of a vehicle in a pawnshop? Can you buy good know-how, or The data: First registration 02 / 2002 Kilometers 20,000 km Power 29 kW (39 hp) Type of vehicle Used number of vehicle holders 2 Body shape Chopper/Cruiser Type of transmission Manual gearbox engine capacity 649 cm3 Cylinder 4 Fuel petrol Empty weight 233 kg Outer colour Black HU test 07 / 2014 Price 3.333 Euro Thank you for your comments.

  • Long service life motorcycle – typical damage

Hi there, I would have a question that came to my mind. The search function didn’t give me the right answer so I just ask. And that’s that my father-in-law in-law has a 76er Kawasaki Z900 in the garage. Quite sharp part. Unfortunately, this one has been standing there for a good 25 years. What damage can be expected after such a time? Would one still get the at all with reasonable effort to run? I think it is with Ve rgaser clean is not done. I also heard some of it that the cylinders rust over time. Is that true? To the condition itself remains to say: No rust, in the garage there are good climatic conditions. If you see the machine you wouldn’t necessarily come up with that you have not been moved for 25 years. Even the tires still seem relatively fresh (which you can throw away is also clear to me ) I hope here a few spezis are drifting around. Think the topic k Could also be interesting for people who land an old sweetheart somewhere.

  • Leather combi sizes

Good day Together, I know the question sounds a little funny now, but in leather combs there are no intermediate sizes like 90 or 94 ? I was with us over 3 hours ago in Louis and tried on every leather comb. Also for women the leather combs I had finished all. My problem, I am just under 1.80 m tall and weigh 67 kilos. A really unfavorable body figure for leather combs. Now my question knows someone ne company who also offer the intermediate sizes like 90 or 94 ? These are the sizes 48 or 50 in long. Or can someone recommend me a brand that is cut by house somewhat tighter ? Because having a measure made was not my intention on the first motorcycle. Dear greetings and many thanks in advance Matze0892

  • Google Maps recognizes motorcyclists (or not)

Was Sunday on tour. Upper Bavaria and Munich in and out. Have looked at my Google Maps timeline today. 290 km. Most of it by motorcycle, a part by bike, says Google. I’ve never noticed. True, of course, was just a motorcycle. How does Google recognize that I’m riding a motorcycle? Or why does Google think I’m riding a bike. In Munich, of course, there’s a lot of traffic, but I’ve never really driven a wheel speed as much as Google’s R I didn’t send anything. I first thought about motion or inclination sensor. The mobile phone was somehow cross-cross in the tailbag. Now someone says, Google recognizes when I moggle through me in traffic jams, e.g. between cars, as a motorcycle. Provided the cars also use Google maps, which is of course likely in the big city. I just care, who knows how Google does it? Inserted afterward: Or, that comes to me now, Google defines me just because I driving through traffic jams as a cyclist? Because motorcyclists are not allowed to do so, and Google is a bit out of the world, and only cyclists dare to do so. That would explain the inexplicably long classification as a cyclist.

  • New bike…what do you recommend … what are there for different models for me !?

Hello…so…I wanted to buy a motorcycle this year. But it didn’t work out from the money. For next spring I want to buy a motorcycle now. I am 20 years old.m and 1.80m tall (if that does something about it)…. so….I’ve been throttling since 16 (125ccm to 80 (of course ;-)) on 2 wheels on the road…. so now something bigger has to happen. At first I thought such a little naked bike would be in order….but since I was absolutely on racing bikes. i me ne yamaha r6 in considering..ws do you think about it ?????
