  • Purchase advice

Moin moin.. start with my A2 in the summer and want to look around for a machine. In theory, I can get excited about all motorcycles.. but for Enduros there is nothing to go out here and a super sportsman with 48 hp I find quite senseless Staying still cruisers.. they also say to me visually the most. However, I read in a forum the following sentence: “Chopper are eigtl only useful if you want to drive straight out at 80 km/h on the country road” I like to go faster and only straight ahead is of course little fun With faster I mean acceleration rather than top speed, doesn’t want to go on the highway anyway, there should be ~160 km/h. To that almost all roads, which lead into beautiful landscapes contaminated with trucks, therefore would probably also be a passage of 80-140 km/h important vllt but also wrong ideas and in the end the bikes up to 48 hp take all nothing.. I find for example the Kawasakis VN 900 and W800 mega geil Vllt someone has some ideas for me, thank you in advance

  • Motorcycle advice

Hello all, in just under four months I will be 18 years old. This means for me that I will switch from my Honda CBR 125 r to a larger motorcycle. The motorcycle may have a maximum of 48 hp (47, 6) according to the A2 driver’s license. In the unrestricted condition it would have a maximum of twice as much horsepower, i.e. 96 hp. I would be interested in a racing machine (dream motorcycle: Suzuki GSXR / Kawasaki Ninja). Now to my question, you can recommend me a motorcycle which is throttled on 48 HP has as high a performance as possible. There are quite some differences in acceleration and final speed for many motorcycles. Hopefully there are some of you who have either been very familiar with motorcycles or have already made experiences and could help me with them. to add that it should not be a new model, because unfortunately there is still no money for that. Would be happy if you could help me further. In Betsch

  • Wanted: clothing shop with wide range and good advice in the north

Tach together, with me is the new purchase of a leather combi. I am looking for a shop that offers a wide range of products (I am not a manufacturer). The staff should be expert and be able to advise me properly. Specifically I am looking in the area between Hanover and Hamburg. In Hanover, for example, Biker’s Point is known as a good address. I would like to look beyond this box. In Hamburg, I stumbled beyond the Biker Fashion Arena. t. Although they seem to have only IXS on offer, they may also be able to make changes on site, which might be helpful, as I may not fit into made-up goods. Does anyone have experience with this shop? What recommendations are there for Hamburg? I haven’t been to ZTK in Schneverdingen for a long time. I can still remember an extensive selection of motorcycles. How are they equipped in terms of clothing? For every constructive hint b in me gratefully.

  • Natural gas motorcycle?

Hello together, since there are developments in the direction of e-motorcycle, does someone know if there are ideas in the direction of natural gas (or car gas etc.) driven motorcycle? I mean, after the automotive sector has been working on it for a long time, what would speak against it with the motorcycle? I personally would have spontaneously only two disadvantages which go hand in hand, however… First the (still) low gas station density, second the (still) low range in gas operation. But these disadvantages could one yes how to minimize the car by a bivalent operation…. Would the community even start on such a thing if it were available? Looking forward to your opinions, Mfg Alex

  • I’m new here and need your advice

Hello, first of all to me: I am new here in the forum, my name is Niklas, will probably start next week with the A2 driver’s license and am 18 years old. Since I am currently making my B driver’s license I have thought that I am now doing the A2 directly in parallel, since I can then register the theory lessons for both … I actually did not have a hat with the motorcycle riding but I need for the next 3-4 years (study or similar) a motorized kit to stay mobile and d there would be I think a motorcycle the best possibility (low insurance, little fuel). Now I am thinking about which motorcycle it should be if I have the appearance… I would actually use it mostly to drive 1-3 times a week a distance of 2x 50km and of course also times in the city and so… so rather a commercial vehicle and not a fun vehicle, whereby driving can / should be fun of course 😉 I have looked around a bit on the internet and find the K awasaki EL 250 very good! Would it fit for my purposes? Or what are good alternatives? How much ccm are reasonable? Thank you for your help! Greeting Niklas

  • Purchase decision Kawasaki VN800 or Yamaha XVS1100 (for Bobber conversion)

Hi guys, I’m currently looking for a mopped, which should serve as the basis for a Bobber conversion. The whole should look similar in style to the following.http://www.pinterst.com/pin/307863324498876288/http://www.pinterst.com/pin/307863324499226756/ I saw that a lot of work is being done on the Honda VT600 on the market, but I don’t like it when you’re flexing around the frame. The Yamaha XVS650 drag star (39hp) where you need no flex on the frame, but it also has the same problem as the VT600 (38hp) that there is too little PS. So I looked at a few other alternatives. As an alternative I now have the Kawa VN800 (55hp) chain, WaKü , Suzi VL800 (52hp) Kardan, WaKü and the Yamaha XVS1100 (62hp), LuKü Kardan. I like the XVS particularly well, but there is the problem of air cooling.Find Wak ü simply more practical and pleasant, especially in the city. What irritates me is that the XVS has two carburettors instead of just one, as in the 800s. What is the difference if I have two carburettors? Does the mopped go differently? Is this always the case with large-capacity moppeds?

  • Textile vs. leather

Moin, I’ve already read a little bit about the topic textile or leather and some people probably don’t think of a thread again, but I wanted to start something up-to-date. And knowledge gathering is always nice. Expanded with some the horizon What I have so far so “white”:Leather:Advantages: – repairable – does not shred (e.g. ADAC leather/textile test. Is already very old. I don’t know if there has changed a lot. I have to admit that I haven’t read it through. e, but the pictures say already more than a thousand words ) – flutters not disadvantages: – too warm – not waterproof – restriction of movement – care-intensiveTextile:Advantages: – comfort (carriage comfort, waterproof, breathable) – easier to care – better everyday clothingDisadvantages: – melts (if, then only aramid reinforcements available. But what brings the aramid, if it is still melting textile?) – flutters – protectors slip – scrubs through faster (e.g. leather/textile S) cheuertest) – after an accident almost always irreparable Now you are asked. What speaks for and against leather/textile? Would be nice if you also have current reports. Greeting Lex

  • Tips from/for all weather drivers

Hi, there are certainly enough bikers who can ride in any weather and give me a few tips. After I finally have my all-weather motorcycle running reliably, I found the fun of driving again in every weather situation. However, my clothes still spoils me a little the driving fun. On the one hand I own a Mohawk textile/leather pants by Polo as well as a textile jacket by Schatz which now have to be about 9 years old. I unfortunately don’t get any more dense Even washing with special agents and various impregnation agents and methods does not help, with just a little more than drizzle rain it gets wet… Now I have to get a rain combi. Now I am interested which you use and whether it is also suitable for everyday use. And above all whether this also really keeps tight. In which temperature ranges can you drive with such combi before it becomes too cold/warm? I am not yet conclusive whether I want to drive even in winter, But I think I’m already trying to do that. What can you recommend to me so that it doesn’t get too cold, but you can still move? Are there also overdressing shoes? I also have an old set of leather gloves that is unfortunately not dense. Even, recently bought, textile gloves do not last long tight. The only thing that remains 100% dry are the feet in the good BW boots I am grateful for every tip. I have already found the thread about raincombs and could read out so far that I should get a two-piece station wagon. Greetings

  • Tight turns and turns

Hello everyone, now I’ve had my A2 note for almost a year and I’ve been on the road for almost 5,000 km, recently for the first time in the mountains. Until then I thought it was going very well, but was taught in view of Stilfser Joch and various other passports of a better kind. Although I know the technology inside and out, I don’t get especially right turn well. Sometimes it works really well, but then I hang again – oh Schreck – on the extreme edge of the It’s also a problem when it comes to turning around on steep roads. On the level, it’s still not as fast as with more experienced drivers, but I had the feeling that it’s getting better and better. Well… I did safety training at the ADAC this year, by the way. However, driving slow and tight was too short for my taste. So now my question: how long did it take you to easily get around the bike? rven was able to circle and the whole thing is still fun? Thanks already for your answers!

  • Which motorcycle

Hi guys, I’m just looking for a new motorcycle for me. Short story to myself, I made A (limited) 2012, had 2 months later a rather violent accident (no fault for myself) and could not drive anymore. At that time I drove a GSX-R 600K6 throttled. I also found the motorcycle throttled great and would get it back to me at any time, however, then undisturbed and that’s a bit violent. at the moment I’m in love with the 899Panigale, I am in love with it. She could also buy me from a financial point of view, but I think that would be rather unreasonable. But that’s the motorcycle that I’m going to do for 2016 .. What do you mean by which motorcycle should I get back in? I think I feel very comfortable on an athlete in principle.
