  • A2 Regelung in DE to be changed … what do you think about it?

I simply copy the text here with source. I had not seen a thread where this has already been discussed here. What do you think about it?The EU driving licence new regulation of 2013 provides that holders of the driving licence A2 motorcycles up to 35 kw (48 hp) can drive – however with the restriction that these motorcycles have open no more than twice this power, i.e. a maximum of 70 kW (96 hp). Germany deliberately did not implement this addition in 2013 and must therefore Germany is currently preparing an EU-compliant re-regulation of the A2 in order to avoid a conviction. On 8 July the Federal Council will decide on this. The Industrial Association Motorrad (IVM) assumes, therefore, that there will also be no preservation of the acquis. That is, if the regulation comes to pass, an A2 owner may, for example, use a 48 HP suzuki Hayabusa also within Deutschla The German improvement is expected to be completed in the summer of 2016. It is still unclear how many A2 owners will be affected by this change and will no longer be allowed to drive their potentially too strong motorcycle. The ADAC warns against driving abroad with such a driving licence motorcycle combination for a long time. Source:http://www.motorradonline.de/…/729930

  • Purchase advice first bike

Moin dear biker! Since I finally have my practical exam on 21.9. now I am looking for a corresponding machine because I am of course completely inexperienced, as far as the motorcycle purchase is concerned, I wanted to get your opinion here. I think it short and just give a few basic data: – Price: 500€ +- – Size. 184cm, 95KG, sporty, not thick – A2 driver’s license, but as far as I know the new regulation does not meet me yet (?) – either naked, or sportsman – should n Is it too old and I don’t have 40tkm on the hump – I like this screaming, screaming sound at high speed, the machine should be really good at blades At the moment I love a little with the Ducati 696, but I have read a lot of “perfect for the woman”. Is the machine too small for me? Is it generally recommended to buy a Ducati with 15tkm+? I heard they should be a bit vulnerable… The other machine I’m very interested in is d ie Suzuki GSX-R 600, as K6. Is there something with the machine that I have to pay attention to? Otherwise I also like the Kawasaki Z750 or 800 very well, so this is the rough kind of motorcycle that it should go into, if not the Suzuki or Ducati. I would like to drive the motorcycle at least the 2 years with the A2 driver’s license, after that if I have the full A possibly also 1 year. So that was first, as said, I don’t know myself at all on the motorcycle market, you have even is there anything else I should consider? LG from HH Max

  • New A2 driving licence regulation -> missing sports motorcycles

Servus, I am still 17 years old and drive a Yamaha YZF-R125 ABS. Since I am soon ready and will make my A2 driver’s license, I already inform myself about successors. Originally I wanted to get a 600 super sportsman with the A2 driver’s license and this on 48Ps drssenln. Since now unfortunately the new driver’s license regulation with a maximum of 95Ps has been decided this category falls away. Alternatively, there are only 300 super sportsman like the Yamaha R-3 or the Kawasak i Ninja 300, but I don’t think I’ll be happy with the sound and I think the performance will be boring very quickly. Most of all, however, I’m disturbed by the 300s that I’m going to sell it again after two years, which is very expensive. Also, I’m not a big fan of the look of a super sportsman and the sitting position of a naked bike, because in some way I’m looking for this bowed posture with a super sportsman and in some way I like it very much (even if With the Nakedbikes I don’t like the look of the Mt-07 too much, even if it is certainly a great motorcycle. Of the look and sound the Z800e very much tells me, but the weight… The Naked Bike which I am most pleased with at the moment is the KTM Duke 690, but I think I would ride a Naked Bike only two years and then switch to SSP again. ABS is essential for me, as it is very safe for me. Vllt. can you tell me your experiences and which motorcycle you would choose. Thank you for the answers luke20136

  • Cleaning textile combi

Hello together, how do you clean your textile combi? I have a two-parter and the jacket looks pretty bad. Insects and co. have left their leftovers and the white is also not white anymore. I have read on the internet, if you wash the textile combi with the washing machine, the water protection is completely lost and with a corresponding spray you would not get it as it was. Now I thought about the jacket with a brush and cleaning mitt to clean up, but will it really be clean? I’m happy about your reviews. Allen a nice Friday & DLzG

  • High-gloss polishing of rear wheel swing. (Alu)

Hello everyone I recently came up with the idea that I could polish the rear wing of my motorcycle high-gloss. I also did this right on my work and a colleague thinks that it has not done itself with the polishing. He is of the opinion that the polished aluminum would start very quickly. The more I think about it I think he is probably right. I wanted to ask now in this train the question if any of you already experience in polishing things g I can tell you how to protect the polished surface in such a case. Whether it’s clear varnish or in oil or other types of treatment. Many thanks in advance for your help LG moto domi

  • Wertach in the Allgäu…

… more precisely, the mountain inn Elleg-Höhe, is the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sammler from 8.6. for a week. As readers of my hp know, the K 1100 travels on the trailer to be used from there. I still know the Tannheimer and its side valleys from Bergwandererer’s times. I drove the route Oberau – Ammersattel – Plansee – Rewutte last year, a detour to Garmisch is also planned, since I know an insider… For a spring stay 20 12 in Oberstaufen we visited the fashion outlet Sonthofen and on the way back to Oberstaufen took the route Fischen-Balderschwang, but in the car. I have a map 1:200.000, a Navi and a few reports from “Tourenfahrer” and “Motorradonline”. But that’s it. You certainly have some good insider tips for me, where I should steer my “Sofazügle 2.0”.

  • Light hoop on highway, how are you doing this?

If I overtake left (left lane is free) and just drive a car behind the truck in front of me in the right lane, there is the danger that the car driver also pulls to overtake left without looking. If I blink with the main light when approaching, the car drivers often interpret me wrongly and think I will clear the way for them to overtake. So then they pull to left where I am giving gas. I could also overtake without a sign. Maybe even better, because this misunderstanding has already occurred par times. What do you say about it? Overtake with light horn, or without? Or is there a special way to act on the light horn that cannot be misunderstood?

  • Helly Bikereye’s price okay? Alternative?

Hello all, I’m looking for a motorcycle goggles for a jet helmet. I love to play with a Helly Eagle. On the one hand, a perhaps stupid question: Can I continue to use the integrated sun visor of a jet helmet if I have a glasses with “gullies” on? The normal price (€49) totally fine. Even with interchangeable glasses etc. Everything super. Now the part in the BILLIGST version (no safety glasses, no great glasses, no tint blabla) should be around the 300€ k have they suffered? With the standard glasses, THREE glasses are included, which are all safety-technically safe. With eyesight the whole should then cost 300€ in the “unsafe skier’s variant”? ….if I drive it to the top, so safety glasses, transitions and premium glass I am at almost 700€!!! Does anyone have tips or alternative? LG Dominik
