Hi guys, I hope you can help me because I don’t know about Harley models. I’m looking for an HD machine that is particularly suitable for small people (bin1,66m and have weak mukis 🙂 so the machine shouldn’t be heavy, deep sitting position very low and not large overall, 800ccm would also be enough for me, something in the Custombikes direction, 200 rear tires or so… Can you recommend me what ? for which models should I look for ? MfG Alex

FLHRC or FLHX – Decision –
I drive a Moto Guzzi California Touring zZ and would like to get an HD Tourer, MY08 or 09 . This would include ABS, the stiffer frame, larger tank, modified exhaust routing and cruise control. I use the motorcycle for day trips solo, but also often with Sozius (government) and would like to use the part sometimes for longer weekend trips or tours. There should also be the option for luggage take with me. With my Guzzi the suspension paths are quite short, which I actually prefer a road king, allows the windshield to decrease and has the sympathies with the family, on the other hand, the Street Glide with the instruments and the audio system offers nice toys, but the Batwing from the front view is not necessarily the hit. I haven’t looked at the option for a tour pack yet. At the RC, the rear dampers have 20mm more stroke on the piston rod, whether this is on the drive I can’t judge comfort in comparison to the Street Glide. From a price point of view, the difference with a new purchase of both models is € 500,- . One could get the impression that the Street Glide would be ‘more value for money’ . Used FLHR or FLHX seem to be similar in pricing. I would like to hear your view of things about it. – Who has the choice, has the agony – greeting, walef

XR1200 + Remus Powercone
Hello dear motor talk community, this evening it’s time: My XR1200 gets a Remus Powercone-2-in-1 complete system. Finally sound, because the original exhaust is acoustically virtually not available. Since I am a newcomer in the field of “refitting exhaust system” – a question: What consequences does it have in terms of technical and legal nature, if you remove the DB killer in the exhaust? I look forward to and thank you in advance for a factual and serious answer. also other experiences with this combo (XR1200 + Remus Powercone) welcome. Greetings Muhackl

Harley Purchase
Hello, I’m going to see a Sporti 883 (for my better half) and maybe buy it right away. I tried with the seller, he told me it was a GB import. But he would make a new TÜV/AU and I would get all the documents to register them. It doesn’t need to be changed or anything else. So I would have the dealer enter in the purchase agreement that the dealer will hand over the bike registration ready, I think that’s right? – Isn’t it if the machine here TÜV/AU gets new, then I don’t have to do anything anymore? – Which documents etc. should I get from the dealer (no HD dealer)? – It’s an EZ 04/2009, is there something specific to consider here?

Paint problem
Hello, after a woman at the wheel took the lead and my baby is an economic total damage. Have I decided for a Fat Boy special in White Hot Denim ( Matt White), but I have the fear that the matting by sealing, polishing etc. will be shiny again. But a sealing is very important for me, because I am not a cleaning devil. Has someone ever had experience with matt lacquers ? Greetings Jojo

Differences Super Tuner, Power Commader or Thundermax
Hello together, I bought a new planer like I find nice wide glide mod. 2011. Sound is of course very modest… So now a few questions on my part: – with another exhaust complete system I have to have another LUFI and control unit (or have it changed)? – if I only change the final bags e.g. SE or the original empty space I have to have a complete program? – Which tuning module is the better (ST, TM, PC) or where are the differences? My friend says that I would definitely have to have a Super Tuner with an exhaust system and if only I change the final bags it will be “better” to install a ST…? Do I find it great if someone knows about it or has gained experience and answers me! Thanks and greetings

Pictures season 2010
Hi! For me, the season with a small extension in the states is unfortunately also finally over. I am not one of those who drive on the road at minus temperatures and salt, because of my chromosexuality, so I consume over the gray months of the memories acquired during the season and the associated pictures. I thought that a Fred to exchange these pictures (which not only the motorcycles but also the shared experience) My suggestion: Set your top pictures of the 2010 season here, and let others participate in it! I would like to thank all my old and new friends for the good times and the fun we had together! I’ll start with a few pictures from the Eiffel, from Texas, from the Flame Cake Run, the onion cake exit and from Alabama.

Harley Lease, did anyone ever figure this out?
Hello together, … just to find out from the beginning: I agree with the basic attitude of many forum participants here that a mopped as a hobby does not justify any debts. I only saw yesterday when looking for insurance (the insurance of Harley itself is unbeatablely cheap) that they also offer leasing plans. In a car I consider this to be nonsense due to the gigantic loss of value of partly 2/3 in the first 3 years, since anyone the loss yes tra What about Harley now? The machines don’t really lose much value – with a Softail or Road King the loss is in 3 years yes (if I look at mobile.de) only at about 5-6000 Euro. That would be only about 160-200€ per month… I don’t know now how high the value loss share in the leasing rate is, but it would interest me in general. Any idea? Thanks, Joe.

Experience report with drilled pots.
Hai Members, after I’ve done a lot of discusion with the thread “Ebayer offers drilled pots” I have now optimized two pots. Many of you had objections, because it’s not supposed to work and the sound is Schei…. That the action is illegal, I leave it that way now. Now my experience: It’s about 2 pots with cat, e-ident, and access to the interference tube for softail models. First I removed the cat in both pots. A bit tedious, but ma A bit of violence was also necessary. In each pot there are then two tins. I removed one tin and left the last one. Thus the pots pass the test with the inch stick. So, today I have grown the pots. And I am thrilled. In idle they are a bit louder than in the original. But when you turn up the tap, a deeper, dull sound is to be heard. Not quite as loud as my open US pots but acceptable. And that’s what I wanted to do. I’m not going to be like a Phantom hunter anymore, but I’m not going to be like an electric bike. Next, I’m going to have a K&N Lufti with a reworked base plate. But I’m still surprised. Greetings Manni

Is that a point?
Hello Members! Have heard today from a media rapporteur that “Harley Davidson” wants to move his motorcycle production to “INDIA” for cost reasons! Is that true? Greetings to all, fxstshd
