Heck conversion of my 91ger Fatboy
Heck conversion of my 91 Fatboy Today at 22:05:02 Cite Change Hello, this winter I would like to finally take my tail off. Although I don’t have 2 left thumbs, do this for the first time and am grateful for every help. Got a 5.5×15 inch rim and would like to put a 170ger or 180ger tire on it. A 1.1/8 inch Pulley is already available, as much as I know the original is too wide. I have 3 rear fenders now, since the first one has only 180mm in the narrowest place. and a 170ger tire on this rim has about 190 mm, I got the next one, was optically but shit and the third is optically ok. As exhaust I have from Supertrapp the 2 in 1, but still in the packaging. Now I have a few questions. The original brake caliper does not work to my knowledge. As I was told, I should take the 4 – 6 piston caliper from RST-Stoker. Does someone still have one lying around in the garage? I can make the mount for the brake caliper myself or br Can I turn off the front Pulley (or how it is called)? Where can I get matching Struts for the rear? How can I integrate a flat LED rear light on the Fender A stretch tank would also do well, but how expensive is the installation of the electrics for the ignition lock. Is there an intermediate piece for the Supertrapp that gets the end piece even more tilt. What is the exact designation for the 170 or 180ger tire that I need? or other question will still arise in the course of the reconstruction and I hope for your help. Greeting Jürgen

The other day at the Sportster 883 BJ 2001 the number plate lighting was installed. A short time on it the complete electrics failed during the ride. So the engine works, but light, horn everything dead. Does anyone have a backup plan? the boardbook is unfortunately gone.

Functionality Original exhaust
Hello, I have read at various points contradictory statements about the function of the original exhaust systems of the Rosa King and other HD models. I have read, for example, that the left exhaust should not have any function at all and is only there for optics. In other articles I have read that the left exhaust is activated only in certain operating conditions via a flap. Again, it is said that the connection pipe serves for pressure compensation and ensures that that after the emission of the exhaust gases from the cylinder not so much used air is sucked back into the cylinder. Some sounds like half-knowledge and so I don’t know what is right and what is not. I don’t have concrete sources anymore, you just read through. With the Powerplus or Kern Stabi, which are also considerably more expensive you need an adapter for the recording points so that it doesn’t tilt. I can’t imagine that it’s possible without it, because it looks almost the same. Road King fork too soft…
Hello, I have a 2010 Road King with which I am generally very satisfied. In September I drove to Faak and then further to the Alps and in 10 days a total of 3500km. With more experience (have only 3 years my driver’s license for the moped), comes then also the fun in the mountains. However, I have realized once more how soft the front wheel fork is, each time the swing when braking and partially shifting with fast curves and potholes is not so t oll. The moped has been maintained before, everything is fine, I have not made any further changes. Would other springs or other fork oil be a solution? What else would you have for proposals? I would like to keep the standard opa comfort, as there are already 1000km at a time. A compromise will certainly happen, right?

92’s FXR strikes
Friday evening on the way home, there was a fat misignition and then the oven hardly had any power and the engine sounded gausam. Since it was only about 300m to the home place I rolled this then with targeted clutch,- and gas game still home. The battery voltage must have decreased more and more, since first the turn signal, then the speedometer lighting and finally the light have failed, after the turn off does itself gaaaar nix more and the battery voltage ng now has 0.6V – so quasi dead (was a two weeks old gel battery) – electrical is original to my knowledge, since the oven is generally almost in its original state – who has experienced such a thing or constructive ideas, have already some idea, but unfortunately not of the electronics. thank you already in advance for your contributions

Problems with approval due to § 21 STVZO
Need help I drove with my brother about 2 weeks ago through Bielefeld and weret the ride lost a DB killer. I stopped at that and found that my 2 is already going on (no screw in) then took out the 2 and drove to HD Bielefeld to get new screws about 1 km. About 100 m before HD stopped me and my brother the police. The policeman said the same thing is to sound. I told him once how it was done. but I didn’t want to know it at all and always said I should express myself in the hearing sheet that I get. Stupid was only that I signed the note with that I have expanded it. But I meant that I only expanded one (but I didn’t write that). With the defect card (there stood expert report according to §21) I am to the TÜV which made a phon measurement with DB Killer everything OK With the stamped card I am to the road traffic office GT they got there just. 4 days ago I get mail that I have until 27.10. time to make an expert report according to §21 STVZO. Type approval due to structural changes(Remove se DB-eaters extinguished-submission of an expert report according to §21 STVZO in conjunction with original vehicle papers required Now comes the biggest problem since I have a custom Chrome frame with a Harley Davidson Evolution engine 1996 a complete conversion (300 he tires,other swinger etc. but all registered) 005 after today’s emission values I can no longer get an approval. What can I do was already with the police and at the registration office everyone say that I have to do the 21§ Please no comment that I was so stupid that I know myself

Hello guys, after my Sporty was standing in the heated garage all winter and hanging on the maintenance loader, I needed a start cable yesterday to wake her up from hibernation. Rocker c does not start, tacho at 50km/h
Moin together I just stayed there…. Moped normal made out…. na 5min standing time it didn’t work anymore. Gasoline pump is running… But start button without function. What’s still noticeable is the speedometer shows 50kmH and there’s nothing left on the display. Alam system is no longer sharp either. Someone’s tip….?
