Hello friends, I only drive sidecars. Also due to personal condition. I have a BMW R1150R with E-ZS sidecar and a Sportster 1200S with sidecar. I am only 1mtr 60 and 125 kilo and short Aermel. A broken hooves and the knee is also no longer what it has been. So nix solo, ride about 8-9 years sidecar, 80,000 km after over 10 years solo. Early summer and winter, now only 6 summer months. Do not drive long or long distances and more leisurely than fast. Rarely highway and dan max. 125-130. Max. so 1 hour, then I need a short break to move something. Mostly I drive quietly over beautiful country roads. 75-95 So, I love heavy engines with a classic look. I only want to drive HD. What is then a good HD for niocht too much money. Like a road king from after 2009, to drive side car I don’t care about this improved ramen. Also ABS has little extra value for me. So the extra price for such sa I’d love to hear a nice sound. Good braking then again. Do you have idea-en, proposals or even secret-tips that I would like to read here. Maybe a model that is not so loved by solo drivers because of things that hardly have any influence on my still of sidecars. Greetings!

Opinion about a mobile.de vehicle
Hello together, my daddy has a roadking in mind. 11200,- € makes me very stubborn because of the low price, just because the dealers offered did not want to give me the frame number. What do you think of it:http://home.mobile.de/TWINSELEUG#des_186119989 greetings, weber

UNFALL
Hello, I report from an accident: – I brake at traffic light yellow – car rides up almost unbraked – car climbs up over rotating rear wheel and hits me over tank and handlebars forward – I fall left next to the bike – at the end I lie up to the hip under the car – petrol runs on my legs Result: tendon tear on the right thumb belly trauma “below” (all blue black) You can drive so carefully…. Look at attached photos Greeting Uwe

Merry Christmas and a successful 2011 ………
I wish to all those who move the iron from the USA. For those who don’t stop even the snow, see that you can still keep rubber on the road or the snow. In this sense, all the best and beautiful, restful holidays. Greetings from the Swiss snow, Harleybear

TC camshaft conversion
Meal, if I understand it correctly, there are some of the “older” TC’s problems with the control chain tensioners, which are slowly dissolving. In the newer ones, the things are replaced by a hydraulic system, right? I mean somewhere to have read that there is a kit to convert the clamping shoe system to the hydraulic one….had S&S in mind. On their side, however, I find nothing to the topic. So, there is such a kit, and if so, from which manufacturer? Thank you Christian

Clutch grinds after a few kilometers
Hello all, I have installed a 3″ belt drive with dry clutch with my Harley FXST. so far everything is OK, only when I drove about 40-50Km, the clutch starts to grind. I put the clutch on it more loosely, then I have a lot of play in the clutch handle. This game becomes smaller after longer driving, so that the clutch probably starts to grind again when I drove a few kilometers. Now the question is whether in the clutch an inferior spring It’s an FXST BJ.99, 1340s EVO Gruss Eltgen. It’s an FXST BJ.99, 1340s EVO Gruss Eltgen.

European Bike Week (Faak 2013)
Servus, who made it all to Faak here? It was great again. Super bands, great tours and (almost too) a lot of party. A day tour to the Sella round made me really happy – will probably give me 3 days more time for the journey next year to take a few more passes. A highlight for me was the bike show again, where TB cleared everything off.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMrwPTGxm_8 (Vid vom Siegerbike) Unfortunately, I have too many Umba again. uideen for the winter, but the weather will probably end my season a little earlier. So Faak, we’ll see you next year … Cheers \m/

Finish rims (disc wheel) and fork tubes..machine polish or high gloss compaction?
Hello HD-Feunde, today I have again some tricky questions for you…. In my last photo shoot I noticed the rims and diving pipes of my Fatboy again. The rims have no big damage, but have become a bit “matt” and flickering with the years and I would like to have a little more shine again…… With the dive tubes it looks like “stones” the cause. Hmm, can that be? Is there clear varnish on it? Now I would like to put them back on … What can you do yourself? or better machine polish (let)? Have also heard/read something about high gloss compactions…. Would that be a solution? As always, I am grateful for all serious/helpful answers, hints or reports! Greetings, Jürgen W. from P.
