Revtech 110
Hello, I have a converted Harley with a Revtech 110 engine incl. 5 gears from Revtech. Everything is great. I only have one problem, the engine starts very bad. But only when it is cold. If it is warm no problem. Can anyone give me tips or anyone knows the problem? Greetings Revtech_110

Air filter breakout… huge price ranges
Hello together, those from the forum meeting know my project now certainly already I have to have the mapping adjusted to my breakout and that of course immediately in connection with an air filter, because otherwise I would have to have the mapping adjusted again in one year. Mine has now recommended to me the Stage 1 air filter kitStage 1 air filter now I see however also tens other like zbExtreme Billet This is now an extreme price range. Bring the others so much more performance for the almost triple price? These are now prices all independent of the mapping. At the mapping wanted mine already 569 €, so I will surely drive more to Brus his screwdriver. Thanks first for your experiences. Greeting Marcel

Curve ride with 250 rear wheel
Moin! I just made my moped note for relaxation for the job (on 600 Susi GSR). Dream and destination was a big softail for years, in order to do it comfortably over East Friesland’s roads. Before the start of the driving school I drove a bargain over the way, a converted FXST with S&S engine and 250 rear wheel, which I of course caught immediately. On my first trips I now notice the very cumbersome curve behavior of my little ones. some good tips for the best/safe cornering possible? Especially in tighter turns. I am not a heater and ride very carefully due to a fall with 80 things during the driving hours. Before now everyone writes again “1700ccm is nothing for beginners…blabla” – I know that now … but that doesn’t help me any more. I would be very grateful for serious tips & advice. Thank you in advance! 😉

What else is my Harley worth?
Hello dear forum, I hope my question lands here in the right area and reaches the right audience. I am currently helping my grandpa to sell his “old” Harley Sportster XLH 1200. I don’t know about Harley motorcycles so well and would be happy if you had recommendations regarding a price idea (or maybe even interested in a purchase). My grandfather has the motorcycle (built in 1993) in 1994 in the USA in the U.S. All original parts such as Bighorn-Lenker, exhaust, lighting, windshield, Sissybar, saddle bags and a second tank (see photo) for long distance there and are almost in new condition. The machine was driven exclusively in good weather and the mileage is approx. 9000 km. The TÜV checked the machine only a few weeks ago. I have added a few pictures to my post. Thank you for your help and many greetings Noobi

Airbrush – yes or no?!
Moin, I’m driving a 2002 Road King “Firefighter”, i.e. an original special model. Now I’m considering whether I might have the 11th of September immortalized as an airbrush on the mopped. It’s supposed to be done very well, so no 80s style, eagle and flag. I’m just thinking about whether I’m leaving the mopped original or using a complete (all parts are supposed to tell the story) Airbrush “beautiful” Dennis

Which carburetor for Shovel
Hello Shovel fans A few weeks ago I got a late-shovel from 1980. The general condition is wonderful and the part runs really great. The engine is drilled to 1600ccm. (cylinders, cylinder heads, piston S&S). What bugs me is the Mikuni HSR40. When I turn at the gas handle I need power like a bull, it goes in the long term simply too strict. Now I am looking for an alternative carburetor that gets along with the 1600ccm and a little better at the handli ng. Thank you for all the tips. Greetings Shovel-Home Daniel

Sportster 1200 purchase advice and tips.
Meal. I came across this forum by browsing the net. Here the participation is quite high, therefore I hope to be right here. I’m currently driving a Honda VF 750 C from 1988. So that’s quite ok. With almost 90hp it pulls well. Unfortunately the sound is nothing. It’s time for a Harley Davidson. It’s probably to become a sportster, after what I have read now, a 1200er. The more I read in, the more expensive the models in question become. Are the vibrations n a sporster before 2004 so bad that it gets uncomfortable on longer rides? On models after 2007, what looks like with sound? Should I rather buy a converted or one in the original condition? Does mileage play a big role? First the budget was about 500€ but by now I set 700€ as a limit. Should I wait with the purchase, or do not change the prices in September necessarily. From the style would tempt me also a nightster. Is the still fast dur h curves to move? Thanks for opinions etc. Greeting Christian Below again a photo of the old mill.

Sportster jerks downhill
Hi together, I’ve been driving for almost 200km ne sportster Iron. If you roll down a steeper mountain with your sportster at approx. 2500 -2800 turns in the second gear and take the gas away then the bike moves as if I were driving over a wavy ground. Now my question is this normal at harley because I’ve never driven a machine with belt drive or do I have to be friendly? Thank you
