Hello Members! Have heard today from a media rapporteur that “Harley Davidson” wants to move his motorcycle production to “INDIA” for cost reasons! Is that true? Greetings to all, fxstshd

Do you really want me to do it?
Hello together, after a cheap travel bin as a beginner mopped (Honda CB500) and a totally unnecessary heating ram (Kawa ZZ-R1100), which I then sold about 3 years ago, I now look for something “cozy”. How do I get to a Harley after the previous story? Quite simply: on vacation I could drive one by chance for a day (on St. Maarten there was a day trip with rental Harleys from the ship). That has me and even my wife (otherly confessed motorcycle-aboveri). n) I liked it very much. I’m kind of into the U.S. companion anyway – until 4 months ago I had a 72 Chevy Chevelle as “2. Car”. That’s why I’m thinking of investing in a Harley for the re-entry into the hobby. Now I don’t know about the things at all. My budget will be at the highest 15k – so a new purchase is almost impossible. So from the basic idea it should be a BigTwin and ideally for my wife would be a Sissybar on it. W If I look at the data sheets, I wonder how big the noticeable difference between the 1584 engine with hp and the 1449 engine with 69/73 hp is? When did the 6-speed transmission start? What would you recommend? Does the larger (newer) engine bring so much more and would I theoretically get there with my budget? Thank you, Joe.

What but Harley?
Hey guys, hope everyone had pleasant holidays and that everyone will slip into the new one!! Some people will still know that I wanted to get into the world of motorcycling directly with a Harley. Due to a limited budget only a sportsman would have come into question. Well… on the one hand my bowdet has become smaller and on the other hand I have often read that a Harley is not exactly cheap in the maintenance. Likewise, any reperatures that occur over time should occur For me it’s a lot more interesting now, which chopper/cruisers, which are not from Harley, would it be worth a closer look? With the money I have now available, no Harley comes into question at all and if it’s true that they are so expensive in the maintenance, then even more. Since I don’t like to stand on yoghurt cups etc. and would like to go relaxed with a “cack chair” through the world, the selection is rather cheap. I’ve already looked around what’s still there, but I haven’t really come to my conclusion yet. Do you have any tips on what’s still there or what you’re agreeing with before it came to Harley. I’m grateful for any advice!! Greetings Mr. Hoernchen

White Hot Denim
Unfortunately, my new baby, like all other matt whites for Europe, has been in Antwerp since December to check the paintwork, I don’t remember. Maybe someone heard from you what’s going on with the matt lacquers? I didn’t find anything on Google.

Sportster blinker problem
Hello guys, I would like to have a problem: With my XLH 883 Hugger Bj. 2000 the turn signals make Spökskes. When I press the turn signal and have the handlebar in straight exhibition, the turn signals (front and rear) do not blink, but they shine throughout. When I hit the handlebar, they start to blink. Back in straight exhibition they don’t shine. Since this occurs on both sides and front AND back, I suspect that this is not a cable break, but elsewhere with each other. If yes, it won’t work either. Is the Sporty perhaps installed in the speedometer? It was replaced by an MBB Nova. Thank you very much. Greetings Käffchen

Service Desert Harley – Seller
I’m mad! Was yesterday at my dealer in KO and wanted to buy some parts, but then I got to a seller again (is now for about a year there ) who has behaved so arrogantly ( so down from above) that you have to ask yourself whether you have to expect such a thing as a customer. As a customer I expect that I can also be advised in a specialized shop ( this should be an official HD dealer ), I can also understand if someone has stress, but also with a The sound makes the music for many years. Unfortunately, this is not the first time, and has been confirmed by other Harley owners several times. Often it seems forgotten that the customer leaves the money for the salaries there !! Too bad that the other service is excellent there, now I will probably have to contact another employee in future, in order not to order the parts on the Internet at some point and then spend my money there. So far I always thought that one should support local dealers. I wish everyone in this forum a good start to the 2011 season

The EU is thinking of us cyclists……
The EU is really thinking about how to close the last ‘islands of bliss’ (right-hand gaps) so that the joy of the ever-lesser every year (so the registration statistics) really comes up……(in particular to 3 + 5) The following entry is in the ‘tourist 1/2011′ with the title: Europa Krad ……. I plead for the abolition of the KW) have an ABS as standard. A combined braking system is sufficient for 125ers. 2. Between 2014 and 2020, the sharper exhaust emission standards Euro 4 to Euro 6. 3. At the limit value of the driving noise of 80 dB(A) should not change for the time being. However, legal gaps should be closed, which allow retrofit suppliers of exhaust systems to bring to the market in spite of e-test marks too loudly. 4. For new Mofas u From 2014 onwards, the Euro 3 emission standard will apply, and from 2015 onwards, the Euro 3 emission standard will also apply to existing model ranges, which may mean a break for two-strokers. 5. On-board diagnostic systems and an intensified anti-manipulation catalogue are intended to make illegal tuning measures more difficult or impossible….

Gear offset kit Fat Boy
Hello people Who of has ever installed a half-inch gearbox kit? I am just building my rear by 130 to 200s. I got a set kit from customchrom, unfortunately without a description. Then I opened the gearbox cover and shocked found that the thing looks more complicated than I knew before. What do I have to take into account? Does anyone have a description? I also have problems with the rim back. The original belt does not fit naturally. In which sizes can one the buy? I must have the original pully turned off. Since the rim probably does not run in the middle of the original swing and the belt has to run straight, I will put the rim to the right as far as possible. Share your experiences with me. Maybe this will bring me further so that I don’t make mistakes. Thank you Chuck
