Test bench setting SERT E-Glide 1800
Hi to see you, drive an E-Glide MJ 2008 with 1800cc, SERT, SE air filter, other camshaft, Kess-Tech and despite all that I’m not satisfied with the power loss and the consumption. Where is there a specialist who can perfectly adjust the SERT on the test bench or should I throw out the part and install a Powercommander. I’m grateful for all tips and reviews.

Battery for Fat Bob
Hall, After not even 3 years the HD battery of my 2009 Fat Bob is now flat, despite the constantly connected maintenance charger in winter. Light works, but the starter creates at most half a turn and then clacks. The new battery is supposed to cost €192, which is a bit expensive to me for the short durability. Do you have a better proposal?

What part? Fat Boy, Fat Bob or Street Bob?
Would be nice if someone could show briefly where the significant difference is with these models. I would like to add another cruiser. I already had a Yamaha XV 1600 Wild Star Silverado, BMW R 1200 C Montauk and BMR R 1200 CL. I tend to the Fat Boy. Why does the Fat Bob cost about 3 bills less? I don’t understand the Street Bob. When is this recommended? As said would be nice.

LeatherPros removable pockets
Hi! One or the other one in the forum has been looking for good detachable bags for his pock. I thought I would pass on my experience with the bags of Leatherpros , which I have mounted to my Street Bob these days. The bags are comparatively spacious. Leatherpros names his series after the size – the LP 3100s are bags fit into the 31( beer?) cans (should). The bags make an absolutely high quality impression. The leather is firm but not like with other pockets cardboard-like. The “body” of the pockets and the lids are made of fiberglass. The attachment on the back is solid and makes a very stable impression. On their website the manufacturers show someone who stands on the pockets and swears the recording is not turked. The lids are lockable with an integrated lock and with a small padlock you can close the trigger bar on the inside so that the pockets are not removed Of course, I can’t say anything about the durability, but the quality impression is very good. The attachment to the motorcycle is done via two stainless steel bolts, which replace the original fixing bolts of the Fenderstruts. If the bags are removed, two bolts, which are a little shorter than a set of Kellermann Minis and actually hardly noticeable. With Dynas (except Fat Bob and 06-08er Wide Glide) you have to move the turn signals unfortunately. the problem in which I have replaced the turn signals with a number plate frame with integrated turn signals and a rear light with integrated turn signals. Most other models do it without blinker shifting. If you want to use removable parts of HD like e.g. Sissybars etc. this also works, but you have to use the “docking point” from the HD kit with, however, the bolts are a bit further ́out and you can see them a little bit more, because the HD docking points Some of the bags were made of black plastic. They were mounted in such a way that you don’t touch anything except the stainless steel docking points, even if you have axle covers, and they don’t sit bomb-proof, clatter and rattle. By the way, the whole thing also works with the HD Wide Tire 180 kit. Since the mounting plate in the fender should only keep the turn signal cables out of the way, and the turn signalers get away anyway, the plate works out of the fixing kit (that m I tried to get along without bags for a long time, because I didn’t want to mess up the clean look of the Street Bob and also didn’t want to miss out on flashers. After touring with pockets stretched on the Phantom Pad but always was a bit of a cramp, I bought the bags now. I find them so good on the bike that I don’t know if I ever ran them again. r make But the small fixing points are so inconspicuous that the bike still looks good without the bags. So, I can recommend the bags without any restrictions. By the way, the bags are almost identical with those of Boss Bags (BossBags and Leatherpros are brothers), but the LP bags are a little cheaper. The Boss Bags use a small roll, which is attached to the lower mounting point of the shock absorbers, on which the bag should roll if s The price of (depending on the version) around the $800 is relative in view of the quality and the still favorable dollar price in my opinion. By the way, the removable bags from HD are a copy of the LP/Boss Bags bags and (I had them in my hand) are not so well processed for a long time and do not work with axle covers for example. Gary von Leatherpros was by the way, easily reach by phone and make a great effort (he did my question about the compatibility with the Wide Tire Kit e.g. really concrete research before he gave me an answer to it.).

Did you get a new Harley lately? Is the board tool still there, or do you have to put something together? If there is no more tool, with what reason?

Hello for now
Moin dear two-wheeler friends want to introduce me first, as my nick already suspected, my parents with the name axel have put me into the world with XLN owners who have been infatuated for about a month and when I searched for the personalization of my moppeds on this forum, if there is no introduction, I did not find them, or was too lazy to look again, then many greetings to everyone and hope for warm/dry winter months Axel
