  • Engine does not hold speeds

    Left to say hello I urgently need help. After this winter my Sporty jumps on but wants to go out again , runs round and often makes funny whistle noises…PFFF. She stood over winter heated and dry. I rinsed it just before putting it off once with the high pressure cleaner. Of course with respectable stand. Werkstattheini thinks it is something electronic. Since I don’t have the money right now to have a professional research I am for suggestions to solve my problem very grateful. I only know that it is not a carburettor problem. Has electric injection. You can chat me with pictures, videos instructions. Thanks in advance

  • ’95 Fat Boy repair

    Hello dear people, Hab’ a nice black .. I just wanted to have “slow idle” and the training drive was too high for me. The problems started with it.. If the engine is cold, needs too much “choke” after the engine start. I have to let it pull otherwise the engine shuts down. I hear a few “close” back from the spark plug. If I would go off, the engine stutters or coughs back in the exhaust… I have to change the spark plug back – because very black is and drive ic h further. Without problems. I should notice that the training drive is not set down enough. In this case the engine takes a lot of time to start driving and the problems are stronger. I didn’t know why the exhaust was shooting back. I was already in a factory. The mechanic found nothing special. He changed 3 Gumi ring because it had gone a bit kaput. And the light was dead at the front too. (since then I did oh twice) Why does the engine d he spark plugs kaput? And why is there such a big difference between cold and warm driving? Thanks Akujka

    Hello together Does someone know about you with Springer forks? Some time ago a buddy had the start button pressed while the gear was in place. But the bike started alone and then finally flew over…..shit! Well the problem: the fork is therefore a bit crooked! Have the handlebar and riser been renewed, but without success 🙁 Did someone have a similar problem? Thanks and greetings , Frank

    Hello together, am new in the Harley world. Get my HD Softail Slim S next week and plan some modifications, such as exhaust (Jekill, Kesstech, Penzl,???), Fender, rims… Does anyone know a really competent and not overpriced Harley workshop, can also be a free one in the Greater Munich area?   • Coupling noises from 1st gear to 2nd gear at low speeds TC96

    Hello, after I drove the first KM with my Road King TC96, I would have a question: If I started in the first gear and switched slightly undertouring into the second gear, then the clutch makes a noise while pulling (to get from the first to the second gear). But if I switch a little higher from the first to the second gear you hear nothing! Is this normal? It is not a loud noise, but to hear. Also when changing loads (take gas away and give Gs again) the gearbox makes in all gears Noise, but it’s supposed to be normal. Of course I compare it with my Fat Boy Evo, you don’t hear anything, but it’s also a different engine, of course…

  • Load European/German software to the ECU

    Hello dear community, I am about to import my 2014 Softail Deluxe from the states. The hardware necessary for German approval as well as the data sheet from the TÜV etc. is already available. What is still missing is the suitable software version in the control unit. Before I demand from an official Harley dealer, where I can probably withdraw any unfinished things, I would like to listen here in the forum, who can help me with this. Or jema and knows who knows one who can help me… If the practical help comes from the Siegerland/Sauerland/Kölner room, the better. A software flash seems to me the best. The purchase of a suitable ECU, whether new or used, goes after all something in the money. Perhaps enough for a license also a loan.   • Sportster pre-set footrests with small height, yes/no?

    Good evening together, forgive my possibly strange question, I am still an absolute newcomer and just need a few opinions. I have been driving my driver’s license for a few weeks and I only drove three times with my machine (Iron883) (weather reasons). Still everything is a bit unfamiliar and I also have to get used to the slightly pre-set footrests (at first I stepped into the void twice after starting). Maybe I’m also too crazy (I’m very co-operative). Is there any indication that I am too small for the preloaded rests? So clearly: Up on the moped and try it out. How does the position of the rests affect the driving? It is in itself a little more relaxed, but at the same time I have the feeling to be able to drive a little less dynamically or to lead/control the bike minimally less. Probably it is however we It’s just unusual. Must slide quite far forward, so that I can sit comfortably and get relaxed to the rear brake. But that’s also because of the seat (original) – I found the one from the fortyeight a lot more comfortable, so the seat will be changed in the next season at the latest. Many have their foot then loosely next to the brake dangle , but I stand with the middle foot on the rest (as I learned it in the driving school). Have a little the feeling that the my body is stretched too much, but I was often told that it’s much more relaxed with pre-set rests and you just have to get used to it. Besides, it’s probably an expensive fun to have the things rebuilt. Don’t you make it if you’re not sure that it’s so better for you. What do you think?

  • Price development at US import

    Hello together, I bought a Night Rod Bj.2012 as the USA several years ago and had it converted here to a custom bike. The bike has a 21 he decrease. Since I don’t come to drive anymore I have to sell the bike but do not know how the performance of a US import is. With cars this was always a downside when selling. Do you know how this behaves with an HD from the USA ? Is this more price-enhancing or behaves like with cars ? Love Da nk for your information Daniel
