Moin Together. I replaced the tacho disc. The ring has to be carefully dismantled and re-assembled. However, this one is bulged. After the conversion the tacho was of course leaking. Now it was about 3 months good. Now the tacho doesn’t work anymore. First the watch didn’t work, now it doesn’t work anymore. Speed indicator is out and the display shows “NO CAL”. However, the tacho lighting still works. Can someone tell me if I can use a has to order new tacho or if there is anything else to save? Thanks already in advance…

The anticipation for the maiden ride is increasing in view of the good weather. at the dealer I had to have a different bench with sissybar and a luggage rack installed to date. To the topic exhaust here times the typical freshling questions – which is the “legal” best – ka And last but no least Fit the standard footrests to a guy with 1.95 mtr.

I bought the V & H (sss) because of the optics, because I didn’t have a production line from HD and the accessories didn’t–no matter how expensive– . But that’s a matter of taste. One often hears that the V & H (sss) tins sound like “coladose”. That’s also true. With my “lesser” quiet baffles, the dam wool, which is only dunn and almost fine like cotton wool, was partly loosed. This makes it more tinker, because the daempfer is no longer stuck in the tailpipe T and this creates the coladosen sound. Solving the problem: New dam with solider material. I cut the felt-like layer so that the use can be pushed in with some pressure. Result: not really quieter, but dull(er). And because the “spicier/high” sound is missing, less intrusive sound. P.S : I’m new here in the forum and would be happy about answers / comments from people who also at the V & H (shot shots) or similar toys “experimented”.

Hi, unfortunately I have the bad luck that the Harley meetings always have to fall into the period where I can hardly get a holiday. For this reason I was this year with SKS bike shuttle in St. Tropez to the HOG meeting. The motorcycle at the SKS camp left, for the weekend by car afterwards to St. Tropez and the bike was already there. It worked great, and also the price was acceptable with 275 euros. In 2006 I also wanted to go to Ireland with SKS, but now the round trip no longer costs 275 Eur o, but 490 euros. OK, there is still some water in between, and the ferry also has to be paid, but 34 bikes fit on a truck, so SKS makes times easy 7.650 euros more per truck. Does anyone know perhaps a cheaper forwarder? But it should be serious and the bike also insured. Thanks for your tips. Greeting Sprite

The forum meeting 2012 doesn’t seem to be under a good star! I have the impression that there will be several smaller froum meetings, but they will not be open! hello. a buddies wants to get a big tourer. he had driven shovel up to now and wants something like that in the excavator style. now the question-which model. best föllt him the variant with double headlights, so road glide or so!! can someone tell me the exact differences of the different types ? frames before and after- and where are the most differences ? is no matter whether evo or twincam, for a new one is not enough but the money!! street glide I like on the b esten, but is expensive there still too new !! but in the net you will find sooo many different models e-glide,tour-glide,road-glide,street glöide u.s.w….. what to take???, so that the decision is facilitated ??? hope for clarification and tips !! thank you in advance
