Hello dear Harley community, since this is my first post and first topic I introduce myself briefly. My name is Leander am 19 years old and come from Bavaria. I own a Harley-Davidson XLH 883 Hugger with Fat Boy parts. The first registration was on 02.03.2001. And now to my question: I would like to attach a solo saddle with feathers to my sportsters. Only unfortunately I don’t know what I need for that. I don’t know if I need a steel plate or just a n small kit with screws and a small attachment need. In the attachments you can see what the sportsters look like without a seat. Hello again something general… I read something about an “Active Exhaust System” when searching the forums today, which was probably installed in 2007 Harleys to meet the EU standards (as far as sound and emission are concerned). http://data.motor-talk.de/…/valve-23377668834731181778.JPG Apparently there is a throttle flap in the Krummer or something My real question is whether to be installed until today if that was already discontinued by Harley Greeting Mike

Hello, I’ve been crazy for over 15 years after the WLA750. 10 years ago I made the Motorad driver’s license to drive only this machine. When I had the ticket in my pocket, I shouldn’t ride any big machines yet, so I got a 250 Virago, after 1 years I sold it and since then I haven’t driven it. Businesses, family etc. have not allowed to realize my dream. Now it’s time, there are 8-10 T € available and looking for YOU, am It is only a question of time until I find YOU…. Hello, I bought a Dyna FXDC built in 2008 used. The technique with the electronic bowl that you only need to carry with you and the machine is ready to drive if you are closer than about 8 m is working quite well. I live in Spain, the dyna is on the name of a friend in Germany to gelqassen and my Spanish is also not so good. That’s why I would like to know exactly how I can work with the PIN code when the FB times does not go. The harley people here say: all at all no problem, if that does not bring the that already i.o. but I would like to know for myself how this can be done !!!!!! Hello friends, for the care and cleaning of our sanctuaries there were already numerous info’s here in the forum. I am especially interested in the following things: 1. Timing belt I have on recommendation here in the forum silicone spray. What should be sprayed with it on the timing belt and what not (top side, side edges and bottom side with the teeth). Especially at the tooth side I am not sure if there should be silicone spray on it. 2. Windshield So far I clean the in the with lukewarm soap water. Are there any other great mediums such as a final balm, wax, protective coating or the like? I would be grateful for your tips. Kili

A hello to everyone, since yesterday I have a small but not quite insignificant problem with the light. The main light works, but the dipped light does not. And before I start to take apart the Harley I simply ask here. Illuminants does not renew success, then measured: With me it is so switch position dipped light : yellow cable leads current switch position main light: yellow and white cable leads current Shouldn’t that be the case? What is the difference between the light and the light? it has to conduct electricity when I switch off or main beam. or must the yellow lead on one and the white lead on the other. If it were a cable break would light up anything at all? Ask nothing but questions. But maybe someone has a clue.

Hi, I played with the idea of going on a tour in the states again in 2018 after (2013 and 2015). But when I saw the prices for motorcycle rental at Eaglerider and DERTOUR, I was really shocked. Over 2 million for 14 days (without SB). That’s really awesome. In 2015 I had paid just under 1400 without SB (0 Euro extra). It’s a pity that there are no alternatives to Eaglerider. Even renting directly at Harley will hardly be cheaper. But as long as there are enough people who want to fulfill the dream of a Harley tour in the USA, the prices will not change. People, before I get to the nerve: Tell me one, where in the Southwest I can test a Night Rod. I was at three dealers. Result: with two is garnix possible, with one you can test if you buy sure (!!!) . Do they not have any more bucks to sell? Are they too good? Can anyone actually open a Harley shop, which once had English in the Sixth ….. Oh, shice, I get in. Just call me a dealer in Rhineland-Palatinate or in the south-east of Germany. Hello together Spring is still far away… anyway when you look out… But since I got a voucher for my deluxe from Frauchen, I’m beginning to think about what it should be. Budget is about 500 – 600 eur. I have three things I want to look a little closer… 1. Speaker system… but which one? Don’t look too clumsy on a deluxe? What possibilities are there? Couldn’t there be HD parts? 2. Heating grips: I should stay with original HD parts, right? Do they really bring what? I mean… my season is more like March to October… clear… if the weather also allows the rest of the year… but rather not at under 8-10 degrees. Would that be money thrown out? 3. Suitcases/bags system: Price clearly above… but for some trips where you are away for a few days, surely an alternative to large backpacks. Or is there enough space in such suitcases/bags auc h not out? I’m all about experience values of you. Would be great if I could get some tips! Thank you very much! Gruss Martin
