  • The EU is thinking of us cyclists……

The EU is really thinking about how to close the last ‘islands of bliss’ (right-hand gaps) so that the joy of the ever-lesser every year (so the registration statistics) really comes up……(in particular to 3 + 5) The following entry is in the ‘tourist 1/2011′ with the title: Europa Krad ……. I plead for the abolition of the KW) have an ABS as standard. A combined braking system is sufficient for 125ers. 2. Between 2014 and 2020, the sharper exhaust emission standards Euro 4 to Euro 6. 3. At the limit value of the driving noise of 80 dB(A) should not change for the time being. However, legal gaps should be closed, which allow retrofit suppliers of exhaust systems to bring to the market in spite of e-test marks too loudly. 4. For new Mofas u From 2014 onwards, the Euro 3 emission standard will apply, and from 2015 onwards, the Euro 3 emission standard will also apply to existing model ranges, which may mean a break for two-strokers. 5. On-board diagnostic systems and an intensified anti-manipulation catalogue are intended to make illegal tuning measures more difficult or impossible….

  • Gear offset kit Fat Boy

Hello people Who of has ever installed a half-inch gearbox kit? I am just building my rear by 130 to 200s. I got a set kit from customchrom, unfortunately without a description. Then I opened the gearbox cover and shocked found that the thing looks more complicated than I knew before. What do I have to take into account? Does anyone have a description? I also have problems with the rim back. The original belt does not fit naturally. In which sizes can one the buy? I must have the original pully turned off. Since the rim probably does not run in the middle of the original swing and the belt has to run straight, I will put the rim to the right as far as possible. Share your experiences with me. Maybe this will bring me further so that I don’t make mistakes. Thank you Chuck

  • News about imports from UK / England

In order to stop the business with the HD imports from England, HDUK decided to simply cancel the ordered motorcycles from Germany, although they were already ready to be picked up at the dealer’s warehouse. Since the German dealers finally prevailed against these bad importers and the free HD workshops, or HD Europe finally reacted. I was pre-financed as the transporter of motorcycles and that of the vehicles. I would be interested to know if they are allowed to do so. Does HD Deutschland and its dealers really have so much fear of the imported motorcycles from the UK that the EU trade law is ignored here? After all, Warrs HD in London in the German edition of the in-house HOG magazine advertises to be Europe’s biggest dealer and on http://www.warrs.com/ha rley-davidson/pages/deutsch/verkaufe.php is explained exactly how we Germans get our moped in England. At the latest when reading this newspaper everyone knows where the bunny runs long. The HD UK then collects the mopeds again is already funny. Isn’t it? All the other Nobel stamps appear there with more self-confidence and have capped what an EU is and what it means. Can it be that in England just the better sellers and consultants sit there? The price has been for a long time The HD has its own rules and treats import bikes like 3rd class, is already well known. But for that there are at least the laughing free HD workshops, which are anyway better set up and also with the discounts that they get for parts and also motorcycles at exactly these German HD dealers can be even cheaper. That a customer can not buy his Harley within the EU where he wants to bother me personally and also a little business. Ic h have already received my Iphone 4 in England without problems, gag contracts and waiting times for 630 euros. I look forward to your comments and will stop by every day and give my mustard to yours. Since here in the forum are finally all sides except the English, this should be very exciting.

  • Harley Sportster for size 1.92 m

Moin together, I am 30 years old and have finally decided to make class A… Who of you is similar to me and has had experiences with a Harley Sportster? On a first visit to the HD dealer I found the Nightster/Iron optically and from the sound great, besides I (still!?) rather like sporty driving, than on “happy cruising”… Can you achieve a lot through pre-loaded footrests? For information, reviews I would be totally grateful! – No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Hello all, I’m new here, 55 years young and happy owner of a ’04 deuce. I want to miss a slightly wider rear part and therefore the question: which tire width on which rim can I miss my blacks maximum if I want to keep the original tail? Is instead of the 17” rim also the installation of a 15” or 16′ rim without major modifications possible and how are your experiences with it? Thank you and all a good season Brian

  • VG Motorcycle Products

Hello, a few years ago I ordered a frame there in the Netherlands……Quality and execution were great. Now the next project is on……and I can’t reach the Dutch……..I read something about insolvency on some page. Does anyone know if they have re-branded…or does an alternative source for true-to-original rigid frames?? doesn’t have to be anything from the German area….Expert or I don’t need to. Greeting NF
