  • Road King 2017 FLHRC

Hello together. Does anyone else have problems with the delivery of the 2017 models? Supposedly Harley has problems with the hydraulic coupling. I should actually get my Road King in February. Now at least in mid-April. Are there any more sufferers?

  • Which petrol to fuel

Hi Leutz, the other day our Harley group discussed quite heatedly which gasoline would be advisable. Some say with a Harley the normal Super the others were of the opinion the higher octane e.g. Aral Ultra 102 would be the right one. What do you think about it? Chris

  • Eliminate rattle noises of loose tipping lever support plate waves

If your rockers are too loose, only rocker blockers will help you in the long run…! In order to eliminate the unsightly rattle noises from the loose tipping lever support plate waves, I have locked the waves today with 5mm magnifying screws + high-strength screw securing! – The waves are now absolutely tight in the lead! – Thanks again to E-Glider for the tip where the cause of the noises was! Greet Nico

  • Battery Fat Boy Year of manufacture 2007 which battery

Hello at my Fat Boy the battery probably gave up the spirit over the winter. If then she wanted to bridge it with my passat battery that did not manage it either. The starter turned a few times slowly and then it hummed only. Can someone miss me a cheap battery which also what is good at the Harlay dealer costs the 192 €. Are batteries of 1400ccm and 1600ccm same capacity. Motorcycle is Fat Boy 1600ccm many thanks in advance

  • Kupplugsbasic setting Müller Power Clutch

Hi together, I built in a Müller Power Clutch with my dyna, everything went smoothly. After that I made a basic adjustment, as described. The clutch separates clean and does not slip. As it should be. Unfortunately, the clutch comes very late. Now I think about changing the basic adjustment so that the clutch comes earlier. I always have to check if the clutch separates still cleanly. Therefore the question: I have to screw the clutch cover every time n, before I test whether the coupling is still properly separated. Or can I leave it open without the oil coming in. Of course, I do not do all this while driving, but vertically mounted. TIA

  • Gasoline tap drips right after turning off

Hello, again the (almost) “Harley newcomer”… with a problem…. At the penultimate refuelling I noticed that it drips somewhere on the gas tap, and always when the engine has run, and is turned off. The whole haunt is sometimes more powerful and sometimes less hefty and then stops again after a short time. I once raised the tank and pulled all the screws with a long screw peter, which did not bring any improvement. At the moment I push at the parking a A small metal tin underneath it so that the petrol doesn’t run over the hot engine. Depending on how strong it is, the amount that runs out at the end differs. I think so between one and another half “finger hats”…….. What could that be?? With a broken seal it would have to drip constantly??? Thank you for your help

  • Fork fixing at the fork bridge

Moin Moin HD FLS Heritage Softail BJ 2006 Who can tell me how hard you have to attach the two screws to the upper fork bridge ( handlebars). After a ride over our roads in northern Germany I could turn these by hand. That gave me to think. Are these the upper spring legs screwing? Or is that just a cover, so it looks better. Didn’t want to take this off completely. Don’t know what comes up to me. How much Nm do these have to be tightened. MfG Ap atura

  • HG Slip On Damper

Moin, I was with Mopped at Hein Geschräppe yesterday and had the universal Slip On dampers shown to me. The parts cost together almost 90 EUR and I will take them with me today. See for the price quite reasonable and should also sound quite “reasonable”. As a tip you can always hear, it should be used to dampen afterwards (if not too loudly) these pot scrubbers (steel wool). What can you say about this? nnn

  • Start Softail FXSTB 2009 – Climbing at 40 km/h

Hello, everybody, I have a question. Have a brand new FXSTB added to me, which I’m driving in. If you hold the gas in the second gear at 40 km/h, you hear such a clump, about it and underneath it disappears. What do you think that could be? Is that normal?` Many greetings tch
